Her husband OJ is going to be so poed. He's endorsing Edwards.

Obama, I like what you say, right on. I might even have a man-crush on you.

"suggest the dems don't wish to ‘turn the page’ past the country's red-blue polarization." That is a hindrance to Obama and a boon to Clinton. And here I thought democrats always took the high road.

One other note, I heard this morning on MPR that MN democrats gave twice as much to Obama as Clinton for the 3rd quarter. It might be an interesting story to see how their monies are divided geographically. Follow the money, follow the votes.

Is it not slightly newsworthy that Obama raised almost $900,000 in 24 hours? This is higher than the record breaking $800,000 raised in 1 day by Howard Dean last time around! Perhaps the perception that the MSM is not paying much attention to Obama's campaign really is true.

Carole Simpson, at one time (I think) was the anchor on weekend news for ABC. She was one of the first black women to gain prominence in TV journalism. Very good reporter.

People - If you don't know who Carole Simpson - maybe you should start reading, or watch the news. She has been a pretty big journalist in our country for some time.

Also I am so tired of people crying about how mean and ugly elections are - folks if you don't like it then vote for Dennis Kucinich, because he is truly the only candidate who has a complete different view of how the country should be... But I don't see this call for him to be elected, who gets the call - Obama? He has a different way of politics? Are you kidding me, are people so blind to see talking the talk in politics is not the same as walking the walk.

I sometimes wonder if I am actually the only person who reads First Read who doesn't work for a campaign.

Oh and people first read is a blog - it is not actual news stories - so stop complaining that they cover non-news - they cover everything - if you read more of first read you will know they did cover the obama fundrasiing

I'm thrilled that Hillary received an endorsement from Simpson. Hillary's catching on folks. Look at those polling numbers; and now she is taking the lead in Iowa.

Seven men and a woman, and none of them can catch her.
Hillary's making history and it's been a long time coming.
