The two Bush Presidents that we have had, have not had an easy time in the White House. Both have been involved with a war, and that is not an easy thing to have to deal with. Gov. Bush did a decent job while in office and would do a good job as president if him were to be elected. If I were him, I wouldn't even think about running for the office. We do need a good person that is willing an able to do the job, and that man would be another Southern, this time, he should be from Tennessee. I don't think any American will ever forget 9/11. When President Bush decided to go to war in Afghanistan to find Bin Laden and bring him to justice, I think most Americans supported him. I know I did. But then the focus of the war changed from finding and punishing Bin Laden to wiping out Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. I supported President Bush then too. Then it became apparent that reports of the existence of those weapons may have been inaccurate so the focus shifted to wiping out Al Quaida (Bin Laden's organization) in Iraq. I supported President Bush then too. But, when our soldiers began taking on the role of policemen trying to stop the bloodshed caused by Iraquis fighting against other Iraqis, I could not connect that type of mission with the original purpose of our incursion into Iraq, that of finding and punishing the leader of the group that was responsible for 9/11, and could no longer support President Bush's war effort.

Our soldiers are still fighting in Afghanistan, are still searching for Bin Laden, and I support that effort. To my mind, that is where the focus should have remained and should be returned. Bin Laden and his supporters are more directly responsible for the twin towers, than members of differing religious factions in Iraq.
