Rudy needs to do some homework on the Patriot Act. Things to add...how about securing our ports? How about making airport security for real? Things to change....How about the wire tapping thing? Rudy, didn't you hear about the case where it was held to violate federal law? How about the torture thing where that canadian innocent guy spent a year being water boarded in Syria? I am not surprised he'ld say something so stupid. After all, this is the same guy who placed NYC's Office of Emergency Management on the 60th something floor of the Twin Towers AFTER they were already bombed in 1993, because he owed a political donor a favor. He's corrupt indeed! Guess if he becomes president, he'll move NORAD to the Washington Monument!

Fred Thompson is a man of integrity and honor. he speaks what he thinks and doesn't pander to groups. His voting record shows he is a man of core principles.

Rudy is only a Republican in name only and is not conservative at all. Mitt changes positions based on the time of day. Huckabee is like the backup quarterback on every football team. Fans love him until he has to play. Then his weaknesses are glaring. Ron paul is simply a kook.

These are the people Rudy would put in charge of foreign policy. Have we not learned from these chicken littles "sky is falling" pronouncements yet? Iran does not have the money and industries that the nazis had, the sunnis will never let the shia have so much power, the caliphate is an old dream that was never a reality. Europe and Turkey would not sit back and watch it happen, they are closest to this mess and would be in a better position to take on Iran. Why do still insist that we are the only ones capable to stop the Iranians?

I am not a devoutly religous person by any stretch of the imagination, I am not a hardcore liberal or a hardcore conservative, I'm somewhere in the middle. As are all the other fair-mided people in this country. I may not agree with Huckabee on every issue, but at least I know where he stands on them. . He would be the first lobbyist (20 years of experience) to become president.
. His first wife was a "shotgun" marriage.
. He divorced his first wife (RR was divorced by Jane Wyman)
. He had a reputation as a "womanizer" between marriages. Celebrity divas were his specialty, including some tied to Bill Clinton.
. His daughter died of a drug overdose
. His new "trophy" wife is four years younger than his daughter and is known for her plunging necklines.

So far, the *only* candidate that has supported the Constitution consistently, and continues to do so, is Ron Paul. If you want to continue with the status quo of the USA losing its respect worldwide, fighting un-winnable wars and watch the US dollar continue to fall, vote for someone else.

The US has no business having a military presence in over 130 countries and attempting to spread its version of democracy to other countries. There is no authorization to spend tax payer dollars on this, nor to provide foreign aid to countries like Israel. At least, I cannot find the authorization in the Constitution - if you can, please post it.

The government has no business being in the marriage business. Marriage is a religious institution and there is supposed to be a separation of church and state. Again, this should be an issue decided by the State. The only possible function of any level of government in marriage would be to record it.

Ron Paul believes in States rights as outlined in the Constitution. The FedGov must quit forcing its will on the states. Two examples leap to mind immediately 1) Oregon's right to die law and 2) the medical marijuana laws that have passed in 11 states.

While I may not agree with your ideas and lifestyle choices, you are as entitled to them as I am to mine. Just remember, I do not try to force my beliefs on you or convert you to them. Just let me lead my life as I see fit and you do the same.

"Mike, Lincoln, Montana" is right on the money. Unfortunately, the Constitution is just something many Americans and their politicians talk about with a quaint, false patriotism.

I usually try to keep my language out of the gutter but, quite frankly, the Founding Fathers wouldn't piss on Giuliani, Romney, Thompson, or Huckabee if they were on fire.

Mike Gravel is admirable but Ron Paul is the only choice toward restoration of a constitutionally limited, federated, free republic.
