Maybe your lack of understanding on the fact that the past matters = the media's lack of understanding on the fact that the past matters?

obama opposes the authorization. hrc supports it.
the next two years, obama is opposed. the next two years hillary supports it.

then public opinion turns and guess what hillary turns against it.

With his opposition to the war originally, if Obama put forth a plan on Iraq similar to Richardson's Obama would be in the lead. Obama in his caution squandered his chance to capture the anti-war vote.

Why support Obama over Clinton if the war is your top issue? Their plans on the path out of Iraq are the same and Obama has far less experience than Clinton.
