Dirty Tricks, Heaven forbid, who would do such a dasterdly thing? Evangelical and conservative leaders are such honest people (they remind us all the time of their virtues). It shows that this group is so split that they are not the power that many are looking for to deliver the BLOCK!
Who else would Dobson support though, Gulie, Mitt, both have scabs that are not helping them with these people and Fred is dead. Perhaps if he doesn't support Huckabee, a third party is on the rise.
Why won't he support Huckebee? That is the big question.
And Why doesn't Weyrich have a copy of the e-mail?

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards are all (1) on their first and only marriage, (2) are married to persons of the opposite sex, (3) love their children, and (4) still grieve over friends and loved ones they have lost. Now what "focus on the family" am I missing here?

Daniel, thanks for the link but your post was off topic. You see, you posted something about politics and First Read is not about politics. Its about the race for president and nothing more. it certainly isn't about tracking real power and policy in the US.

I read the story and would say that the news is almost a wash. It is good that Saxton is chickening out. Now, the democrats can pick up this seat and make NJ a little closer to "republican-free", like much of my state, California. But, Cubin, quiting in Wyoming will, as the story pointed out, make it much harder for the democrats to pick up--I would say, very unlikely. But, there is good news in this. Trauner, the democrat who nearly brought down Cubin last year, is now free to run for one of the two senate seats up next year--one of which is open, due to the death of republican senator Thomas. Meanwhile, the republican congressional campaign is broke while the democrats have stockpiled over 20 million dollars. So, the race in NJ will benefit from this, while, there will be no republican money to go after any vulnerable democrats. I see another pick up of seats for the democrats--somewhere between 15 and 30. This may seem to be very important, but actually, with a democratic president the house dems won't need a veto-proof majority.
