Can anyone chime in on the steadily growing insignificance of these mainstream media characters? Long gone are the days when agents of the press would just hang out in seedy cop bars to find out the scoops of the week. Media is now a big business with an image to uphold. But images on tv and newspapers rarely reflect truth in reality, whereas these "internets" have no choice but to reflect truth, otherwise they are quickly pointed out, then outed out as false and insignificant. This is the true revolution that is happening now, nothing to do with Ron Paul the man, but rather his message is soooo loudly echoed, the MSM is squirming to have to "translate" it. How do you twist common sense? How do you spin sound reasoning? Especially when all these other candidates are digging their own graves...oh, the squirming. Anyways, it's fun to see these msnbc jokers awkwardly throw their 2 cents in the ring, but fact is the internet is the new king maker, simply because it allows the people to be much closer to true freedom than this Old Insignificant Press. MSNBC is no longer a bona fide political network. Chris Matthews drools with delighted in slamming Hillary; same with the bow-tied effete who is always whining about Hillary. Need some old fashion journalism instead of constant Hillary bashing. Seems that MCNBC is becoming worse than FOX. Nothing "Fair and Balanced." I have turned off MSNBC and watch Law & Order with Fred Thompson to get some justice.

With regard to the Kerik-Giuliani Relationship:

How come the mainstream media are not making a bigger issue of this obvioius disqualification of a candidate?

Giuliani has said: “I believe that the skill I have developed better than any other was surrounding myself with great people.” — Rudy Giuliani, from his book “Leadership,” 2002.

How can media outlets fail to point this deficiency out; and repeatedly?

This is the equivalence of a confession of gross ineptitude. Why doesn’t EVERYONE just say, “Excuse me Mr. Giuliani, if that’s what you do "best," then what makes you think you can appoint anyone we can trust to any position at all; or do anything else competently, for the matter?”

This is an important and significant campaign issue, that qoes right to Giuliani's self-proclaimed incompetency.

I mean, as Jan Baker says above, "Chris Matthews drools with delighted in slamming Hillary . . ." and this Giuliani thing is of much greater import than anything any other canditate has said, because this is about what Giuliani has DONE and he says it's the best that he can do.

So much media coverage these days is on tactics and personality instead of political philosophy. Why does the MSM waste time asking Ron Paul if he's going to run as a 3rd party candidate instead of inquiring about his desire to abolish the Federal Reserve, for example? It's a very important issue and the voters deserve to hear more about it.

Instead it's just: Hey Ron, ya gonna run as a 3rd party candidate? No? How bout now?

Especially odd questions since he is moving up in the polls, and quickly. I guess raising $4million in one day will do that.
