From NBC's Mark MurrayA while back, we mentioned that Kung-fu-fighting/Delta Force/Walker, Texas Ranger/Total Gym star Chuck Norris endorsed Huckabee. Now, he's sent out a campaign fundraising email on Huckabee's behalf.

The sole reason the founding fathers included a clause to separate chruch and state was because they had just liberated themselves from a country, Britain, whose national religion ruled the governing body. Individuals with beliefs that did not hold true to the Church of England, even Christian beliefs were shunned and persecuted. This is why Protestants sought refuge in the Americas and why there was a separation of church and state enacted. Not that this guy is actually going to read this, but for those of you that come here and disagree with him and the rest of the secularized, anti-religious part of the nation, you now know that anyone, even faithful Christians are capable of refuting this logically. If nuanced questions the current authority and historical fact, why didn't he question this argument that's been used for more than half a century?

Thank you, Chuck Norris! I am a woman and a person of color and am switching parties ASAP.

I'm really tired of these liberals who are getting on my nerves as of late. Trust me, I've lived in more liberal parts of the world (Europe) and the last thing I want to see is this country going the way of "anything goes" when it comes to our moral standards. The thing that separates America from other wealthy, western societies is that we believe in a "total package" leader. In other parts of the world, a person's personal beliefs and moral integrity are not taken into account with regard to gaging his or her suitability for leadership. This is a woeful misstep.

I've watched several Youtube debates and read articles about this guy and the thing I like is that he is CONSISTENT. Even though there are some things that would vilify him in the eyes of others, at least he stands up for what he believes.

That is what I want to see in our leader. I also like the fact that he is a multi-dimensional candidate. He has some views that would boil the blood of the social liberals (left wingers) and he has some fiscal policies that would boil the blood of fiscal conservatives (right wingers).

I really wish we had a party for people who were socially conservative and middle or slightly center right with regard to fiscal policies.

These tree-hunging liberals are really getting on my nerves. What's more important...protesting people wearing fur coats or dealing with the fact that almost 50% of marriages are ending in divorce, kids in the inner trailer parks and inner cities are not being taught how to "fish" they are just being thrown the same old smelly fish (welfare) as opposed to something that empowers them and kids are not reading anymore they are watching tv and being raised by television personalities vs. their parents and neighbors and the like (yes I said neighbors because when I was young my neighbors took and interest in my well being, checked on me during holiday breaks from college, told my parents when I misbehaved, etc). What happened to that America? There are people who are white, black, hispanic and the like who agree on this. Which reminds me to say this: the republicans really need to work on courting moderate conservatives of color because we are out there and want to vote for you but we need to know you are interested in our votes....

But I digress...

My main point is this: you won't be able to raise that future Goldman Sachs derivatives trader or inner city school teacher when our values are going to the way side. Good integrity is the hallmark of a strong society. Let's re-read Roman history and learn from mistakes - it wasn't powerful armies from without that caused the downfall, but rather an erosion of strong moral principles, integrity and good character from within.

I don't really care that much about preventing gay unions (let's call it union not marriage), abortion or other hot button conservative issues.

But I do want a candidate that supports renewed interest in maintaining the moral fabric of this society, that supports "self-help" (get people off of welfare and starting some sort of business...if you can't read then set up an office cleaning business or whatever, maid service, whatever), is reasonable on environmental issues (stop telling people not to drive their SUVs...walk before you run by having people say skip a day a month and use public transportion....that's 52 days a year that cars aren't being driven...that can make an environmental impact and at the same time not have people bugged to death by these tree hugging hippies who have a problem with people spending their hard earned dollars to drive the car they want....) and similar MODERATE policies.

Seriously dude, these liberals are getting on my nerves. I am probably reacting to a Rolling Stones article I read about Huckabee. They basically called him a nutcase. Are we moving to a place in American history where people who have strong values are at the fringe and these "anything goes" liberals are "normal". I hope not.

I mean I haven't seen the inside of a church in ages but I know that the values I learned in Sunday school have affected the way I treat other people. Even if I'm not into all the Adam and Eve, biting the apple and all that, there is value in some level of moral conservatism in society and the protestant morals that the founding fathers believed in.

I think I am going with Chuck Norris on this one. I'm young too so I'll try to get some young people interested in this guy.

I think I'm gonna join the chick from Alabama with pledging my support to Huckaby. By the way, I didn't know they had computers and a modern banking system in Alabama (lmao). Sorry, just kidding.....

In any event, I am glad this guy is running and I am going to the RNC website and register and I am going to his website and register as well.

Good will to anyone who reads this (ultra right wing wacko or tree hunging hippie liberal alike....) - we are all Americans....

Thank you, Chuck Norris!
