Is making money a practical reason? I guess not... considering who he used to lobby for. Or maybe there's a difference between "a 100 percent pro-life voting record" and "principles?"

And in 2000, McCain talked about his pro-life record, yet said if his daughter was pregnant, then it would be a family decision.

At least Rudy's message is clear and consistent, if unacceptable to much of the GOP.

And the MSM still can't understand why Ron Paul gets so much support....

I only hope that Thompson is serious about taking care of the illegal immigration problem, and not just saying what he thinks voters want to hear. My support was for Tom Tancredo, but as long as I feel that Thompson is serious about the problems with illegals in this country, I feel he has a better chance than Tancredo does at becoming President.

Who is this "old fart"...just a man who has been a successful Federal Prosecutor, a United States Senator and is accomplished on the big and small screen alike. Those are undeniable facts. Anyone that is 100% anything scares me. I presume that Sen. Thompson's wife or former wife ever had a miscarriage. My wife had one and following the initial exam at the hospital it was recommended that she have a D&C. According to any proposed law (and also not allowed at any Catholic hospital) a D&C would be illegal. This puts women at risk for infection and several other bad consequences.

While I don't like abortion as a means of birth control, I do beleive in freedom. And in any question, freedom and liberty should win. For more information on that, read the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

I watched freddie on sunday talk show, he had no answers but he continued to play up his credentials as 'DE MAN'. Can we vote for a man who seems to have less knowledge than the current occupant in the white house? he continues to answer questions with "I don't know" or jargon that seems to be about his conservative credentials but he has no real ideas on anything. he will be the same as usual candidate and that will put him in fair company with the rest of the 'do nothing party'. Lets all hail 'no child left behind' for another four years, a new surge is coming and it won't be in Iraq, americans want more than more of the same, go home fred, just go home.
