Obama once again proves he has superior judgment and reasoning skills. Hillary Clinton wants to "mandate" (FORCE) people to have health care. That's just absurd. Like we are learning in Massachussetts, it's not a matter of FORCING people to get health care. Hillary Clinton WILL lose that debate if she really wants to push it. The idea of a government FORCING its people to get universal health care is rediculous and implausable. Obama offers the OPTION of getting health care. But who is the government to force it on someone? And how on earth is that force going to work? Massachussetts is proving that it won't.

Once again, Obama proves that he's superior to Clinton. He didn't just get Iraq right when she got it wrong, it appears that he is ALSO getting health care right, when she's getting it wrong. Foreign policy, health care, Obama has answers. I love this news story, because it forces the people who always say "look! He won't talk about himself, he just attacks Hillary!" to realize he is making specific critiques against Hillary's plan, and offering why his PLANS are better. You won't see Hillary Clinton offer that analysis.

It's time for REAL change, a BETTER America. Changing the Oval Office nameplate from "George W Bush" to "Hillary R Clinton" ISN'T ENOUGH.

I think people haven't been paying attention to what her plan actually IS. Which is that we, individual americans, would have to buy it.

Hillary's plan is to MAKE YOU BUY health insurance.

Hilary’s claim to experience and ready to lead from day one is based on her status as former First Lady for eight years. Unfortunately for her, she is engaging a candidate that more shrewd than she would ever imagine. Let me paraphrase the first salvo from Obama on this issue.

Obama says in an interview, l guess with Nightline that it is true that she has experience as First Lady and there is no doubt that President Clinton was discussing issues with her as he is discussing his Senate matters with his wife Mitchell. But his wife Mitchell is not going to claim that what qualifies her to run for senate office is because she used to discuss senate matters with her husband, a US Senator. This is driving stake into the heart of Hilary’s argument.

On healthcare, who is advising Hilary to engage Obama on this substantive issue in order to expose the egregious flaw in her plan? When voters come to understand the real meaning healthcare plan based on mandate, they will think twice about Hilary Clinton’s candidacy for president.

Maybe you people should read her health care plan, instead of making comments about something you know nothing about! There are many people that drive their entire life without an accident....does this mean that we shouldn't mandate auto insurance? By mandating insurance, it brings even the healthy people into the pool of insured, thereby driving down the costs to those that actually need it. Also, those that can't afford health insurance will get a tax credit, much like the head of household credit many low and middle income people get. This also makes it more affordable to those that can't afford it. Why do you neglect to mention that Obama's plan leaves almost half of those that need insurance out of his plan? Who suffers the most with that? Certainly not the people that can already afford it! I also find it very amusing that Obama, after listening to all his attacks along with those of his supporters, says he would like to get the endorsement of President Bill Clinton!!!!!Guess he wants it both ways! Also you might want to read today's washington post report about how obama is trying to buy support by using his PAC to donate to politicians that endorse him! Also check out the voting records where obama missed almost twice as many votes in the senate this year as Hillary did. Oh yeah! he'll be a great leader....if he ever shows up to work!

Well, Dickie, if you read some of the articles before you spout off, you'd learn that Obama used his leftover PAC money to support a ton of Democratic candidates, some who have endorsed Hillary or Edwards or others. He wasn't buying support for himself, he was buying support for the Democratic party. What an evil thing to do! You might want to ask Hillary about the PAC money she used to pay Vilsack's debts - $400,000 worth of debts - so he'd withdraw from the race and support her.

On Oprah campaigining for Obama. What message does that send to voters? My impression is of a very negative nature.
I once used to have a more respective opinion of Oprah. Oprah's time and money are hers to do with as she wishes. But when she invested millions of her own money to build a school for girls in Africa I thought she was doing something admirable.
However she lost my respect when she stated her reason for investing in children's education there instead of investing in our children was that no students here were worth it. Oprah said all kid's here just wanted to have i-pods and other things, students here didn't want to study and learn, they didn't want to better themselves, didn't want to lift themselves up into a better life, in short; children in our cities all across America weren't worth her time, money, investment, and effort.
The great Oprah decided our own citizens, our own school children weren't worth saving and investing in their future.
Obama knowing full-well what Oprah's had said on this matter Barack still accepts her backing.
Again, my opinion, This says volumes to me about Obama's lack of character his words now ring empty of trustworthiness and meaning!
Ok its only one thing you say, but a big impact it should have in who you vote for. How about Oprah's recent words on her show about Denzel Washington's role and what a great film he made in American Gangster. Oprah could not heap enough praise and accolades upon Denzel for bringing this true life story to the giant screen. Those who are not familiar with this movie; its about a drug dealer and cold-blooded killer and his rise to the top of the crime scene.
Denzel made this guy look like a good guy hero who is to be looked upon and revered. This is not exactly how any drug dealing killer should be shown, especially to those people and impressonable kids, who have to live with those horrible events happening each and every day in neighborhoods through-out our cities and towns, streets and villages! What of the true life families of this guy's victims, all those lives destroyed never to be the same, What of their voices, how do you think they feel? What message is Oprah and Denzel sending out to them, and yes Barack what message are you saying to those victims families?
Because you have not denounced it, instead you embraced it my your association to Oprah!
Is it the influnence of money that Oprah brings to Obama's campaign which clouds over his judgements, or is it just Barack's own blind ambition.

Isn't it amazing how all of you attack Hillary because she has the support of her husband! And yet Obama's states in this article that he would accept Bill Clinton's endorsement. Question: If Bill Clinton is such a bad guy, why does Obama want Bill to endorse him? He goes on to tout that his mother worked overseas and he has relatives overseas so he knows the hopes and dreams of the people that live overseas. Just how will knowing these hopes and aspirations help him deal with trade, arms negotiations and the like? Does he think he will be dealing with the citizens of these countries as opposed to the leaders of the countries? Finally Obama ends with the comment "brought back flashbacks"!!! This is just what we need in the White House. Someone who has done so many drugs he is still having "flashbacks" 25 years later! And I'm certain the other world leaders will take this drug addict just as serious as they do the current drug addict occupying the White House. This guy is a joke! And as soon as the media start putting him under the microscope the way they have Hillary, he'll fold like a cheap suit.
