Well I am glad at least one of the candidates has the Writers' Guild's backs on this, for their sake. The studios have done the dirty on the writers for far too long. Hopefully a GOP'er funning for President can come out next and give them some cross party support. Sounds like an idea for Fred Thompson if there ever was one.

Where are the other presidential candidates? Why are they only giving lip service to the strikers? They are trying to benefit from the WGA strike while refusing to help in any way.

Where are the other presidential candidates on the Broadway stagehands strike? Edwards is on the record as supporting them but nothing from the other two front runners. I've read that Obama & Clinton are silent because the Broadway producers are a powerful fundraising group that will make them pay if they support the stagehands. I think MSNBC should check this out and ask Clinton & Obama why they are not supporting the stagehands in their strike?

The others are great at talking the talk but they sure aren't very good at walking the walk.
