How does Richardson feel about all the school shootings using guns that fire multiple rounds? Why don't we eliminate those guns and just sell ones used for hunting? At least then people might have a fighting chance if that gun is turned on them, God forbid. (At least in a crowd)

Oh I agree with what Bill Clinton says,banning armour piercing bullets, but the point is, why do you go into a political rally and lie like that?
Just like the Clinton's. They take someone's personal tragedy and turn into something that never really was in the first place.

Just like yesterday in Iowa, Bill Clinton is rewriting history to make himself look good.

When I was young, 20-30 I was fond of going squirrel hunting. over the years I occasionly had a "bad kill",when the poor animal was only wounded, and I was forced to dispatch him quickly using another means.This was not pretty and it always prolonged its suffering. One time the little fellow was on its back looking up at me as if to say, "big man aren't you proud of your self"? I was ashamed of myself and never went hunting again. Now I recognize that there is some primitive instinct to hunt, but we don't really need too, to feed ourselves. I think it is done today in order to feel that we are manly somehow. I think that it is about time that civilized people should just GET OVER IT. Automatic weapons on the other hand should be banned from our society as useful only to those with ill intent.I know that these gun owners think that they will have some protection against "jack booted thugs sent by our government" some of these are men who call themselves survivalist, GET OVER IT.

Bah richardson would take cheney he rides a horse while Cheney drives a car to a stocked hunting club.

Everyone knows the guy with the horse wins.

I think it's great there is finally a democrat advocating for the second amendment rights to bear arms. And personally I'm with richardson 100% on this issue as I'm with Jefferson Patrick Henry, Ethan Allen, Hobbes and Locke. I'm thinking that's pretty good company to be in myself.

With private neo-con mercenary armies(Blackwater) that possibly have their own ideolgical and religious agenda I've never been more convinced of the wisdonm of our forefathers in allowing ordinary citizens the right to bear arms. Gun safes gun locks reasonable regulation I have no problem with.

Merc's with silencers helicopters and armored vehicles now that's scary.

Well, yes there is. I've got 6 guns at home, and no one is showing up to take them from me. Maybe you have different ideas on if I should have that right, but the 2nd amendment thankfully says otherwise. And it's all written down and everything too. Not like that abortion one that the SC just made up many years ago.

As a Democratic gun owner I will plainly state that gun ownership is not only about hunting. It is another check and balance against tyrannical government. Hunting is fun. An armed electorate guarantees democracy.
