CE&O, you three are going to argue the merits of each of your plans to death and throw snide comments at each other to no avail. why, because under our system of gov't the damn bill for health care and anyother of the domestic issues your picking over like vultures is going to congress and its committees to be negociated before a vote.so a bit of all of your stuff will be in it and it will pass with a trifecta [house,senate,pres.] demo win in 08'. i suggest you'all momic the statesmanly presence demonstrated by joe biden at the debates and state your case and sit down. that sneaky guy is censoring mexico for the immigration problem while you argue over driver liscenses, and passing an iraq proposal, oh wait my bad on that one since you'all sang the chorus of "joe's right". people stop playing with these amatures and vote for biden.

This is why I support Edwards. He can spearhead changing our country in a way Obama can't and Hillary won't. I feel that America is at a crossroads. Are we going to become the United Corporations of America, or are we going to renew our democracy and give power back to the middle class? I know for sure Edwards is on our side. Hillary is not the favorite of the big health care industry lobbyists for nothing. They will wield the most influence in "negotiations" that involve a Clinton administration. Edwards knows how to stand up to them and how to present his case. His plan is the best for leading, sooner rather than later to true universal coverage. Edwards in the White House with a bigger Dem majority in congress is going to get us where we need to go on healthcare, strengthening the middle class including bringing more of the now poor into it rather than losing more of the middle class to poverty, a practical solution to the problem of securing our borders while addressing the issue of millions of illegals already here in a realistic way, restoring our constitution and the ending the losing policies of the Iraq occupation much faster than Hillary Clinton or Obama ever will . He will be a much stronger ally for Dems we elect to congress to bring about the changes we want.

Whether it is Health care, corruption in politics,the loss of good jobs because of NAFTA, immigration or what, Edwards is really saying we do not have to negotiate change or offer plea deals, "we the people" are the government and we are empowered to make whatever changes we choose. he can tout it because it's true, and anybody that thinks edwards plan is 'very similar' to hillary's is either a moron or just plain has not examined both plans, hillary's plan was written by the insurance and phamisuitical industries, although edward plan takes those two entities into account his plan was written independant of them, which is obvious when compared, edwards plan is very throughly explained, hillary's plan is purposely void of any concrete data, edwards plan is written with the consumer in mind and is the best and most feasible plan currently, I wish you cat's at first read would call it like it is and back off the 'edwards is evil' attitude a bit, edwards is the only dem that can win the general election, always has been

Please enlighten everyone as to the MAJOR differences between the two plans so that we may all be morons no more, especially the parts of Clinton's plan that were written by the insurance companies. That section is of great interest as, if you don't have anything to back up your charges, people could think that you make false accusations based on nothing but your own anger.

As someone who has examined both plans so thoroughly as to be claiming expertise, it should be easy to do. Educate us, and we will try to understand.

I work in state government. Much of the legislation that gets passed is copied from other state's laws. We only present it for vote when it has been tried and true and in many cases the true intent of the bill has been stripped out to not risk offending "someone".

This seems to be the way Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama operate. John Edwards is willing to make the hard choices and has the backbone to stick by those choices.
