The more I find out about Huck, the more I realize that he is not fit to be President. I keep comming back to Romney as the only candidate I can fully support. He is right on immigration and the economy. I know that he had a problem with his lawn service, but how is that his fault. He hired an American company, what is he suppose to do check all their employees? I'm sure that we have all eaten at a restraunt that has had illegals working there. I hope that the people in Iowa wake up and see that a vote for Huck is a vote for Rudy.

Seems that mostly Democrats only look at this site with a fine-tuned eye, since no one has provided this (rather important) edit.

I wish I could say different, but I'm expecting Romney to do more of his songanddance routine, as he dances around any 'statement' he chooses to make about his 'faith.'

Romney is free to believe in little green martians flying by on a comet--Whatever he chooses to believe.

The issue with a lot of voters, including some LDS, is that Romney is Not being forthright in his claims. If he's gonna lay it out there, at LEAST be forthright regarding his 'God and Saviour.'

(LDSGod is "MAN" of flesh and bones as tangible as any man's, a god among many gods, with many wives bearing him many children to inhabit human bodies, and LDS are taught they too may become gods (eg Moses 6:57, 7:35, [LDS]Pearl of Great Price; Doctrine and Covenants 130:22; 132).

LDSChrist is "SPIRIT-BROTHER OF LUCIFER" and his name is "Ahman" (eg Moses 5:13, [LDS]Gospel Principles,revised 1979,ch3 and throughout LDS scriptures and teachings; Doctrine and Covenants 78:20,95:17).

Why is it so hard to be honest about it, instead of hiding behind the Bible/God and Christ of the Bible?

Count the times Romney refers to JFK and Reagan (or those Conservative/Christian groups he 'donated' $100s of $1,000s to just before his campaign--whom he'd Never supported before--NYTimes 03/11/07)!...

Looks like Romney would be ashamed to make a big televised deal out of donating just over $200--AND included the amount of CHANGE--in groceries to feed the hungry/homeless. Anybody here ever help out? That much groceries wouldn't go around the room. Where were the tv cameras while those $$Grand contributions were paid to "Conservative"/"Christian" groups who could show public support for his campaign?

There will be more Referrals to his church, their website and their books--for more prospective converts!--while Romney LIVES HIS RELIGION! and won't start to answer any unsolicitated questions, taking chances on being put on the spot with his vows of secrecy. If Romney candidly answers unsolicited questions that put him on the spot we can be Big Surprised!

Don't let him fool you about his religion not playing any role in his politics.

Will he explain any of the MANY POLITICAL scriptures, teachings, commands and oaths of LDS?

IF he claimed he would never distance himself from JIM JONES or DAVID KORESH and would do his best to live by Their teachings, voters would be concerned. More voters KNOW about Jones and/or Koresh. LDS make it a point that any member who starts learning their 'deep doctrine' and POLITICAL teachings are sworn to secrecy, on their lives. Voters Don't Know as much about LDS.

As Samuel Tayor, a LDS-Mormon writer claims, "[LDS] went to work busily on a new public image...They CONCOCTED A NEVER-NEVER LAND of Mormonism that PRESENTED a lovely, if UNREAL FACADE for the OUTSIDE world to admire and converts to embrace"(Denver Post, Special Reprint, Sunday Supplement, "Utah: Inside The Church State," Nov. 21-28, Dialogue, p.13).

As a Brigham Young University teacher put it, "The Mormons do intend to take over the world...There is no secret about that--it's in the writings of [founder] Joseph Smith right on down...ESTABLISHING A THEOCRACY" ("Saints Among Us," Rocky Mountain Magazine, Jan.Feb., 1980, pp.17-32).

I expect a show. that's all. probably throw in some "Un-American," "Religious Bigotry," "Intolerance," maybe some "Persecution," to keep up the martyr complex act. (the wound-tight name-calling is so unbecoming a presidential candidate, especially when his own beliefs are exactly those names he throws around)...

Regarding habeus, I would suggest that every member of Congress and the Court read or re-read Franz Kafka's "The Trial". The protagonist is arrested on page one and the entire remainder of the novel has him trying to find out what he is accused of, what evidence is being used to detain him, and who his accuser(s) are. Of course, this novel was written in pre-Hitler Germany so has no bearing on the situation of those being held in Guantanamo - much.
