Huckabee comes across as a genuinely nice, decent, thoughtful person. As a piano teacher, I loved his answer on putting music and art back in the schools. I think we need a uniter right now in our history. That precludes Hillary, in my opinion. She is the ultimate polarizer. We need someone who can actually bring the executive and legislative branches together and tackle the big issues. Wrong answer, he's on wife number 3 and counting. Besides that he's a closet Demorat: Pro-Abortion, Pro-Gun Control, Pro-Sanctuary City, etc. etc. I'm surprised he's lasted this long.

What about Thompson? BEEEEP! Wrong answer, He's on (grand daughter), ooops! wife number ? and can't catch a coherent thought to save his life.

What about Romney? BEEEEP! Wrong answer, He didn't figure out that abortion was wrong until he figured out it was wrong for him on the national political stage.Forget the Mormon issue, his own flip-flopper stance on the issues sank his political boat before it ever set sail.

What about Ron Paul? No personality whatsoever and McCain - Feingold blasted his boat from the water a long time ago.

What about Hunter/Tancredo/Keyes - BEEEP! wrong answer, Hunter and Tancredo are one dimensional and Keyes, although very intelligent and should figure in the new administration somewhere, blew his miniscule shot today. He has some good ideas but is WAY TOO PUSHY! Huck is the man, been saying that for months, it just took the country too long to figure it out. Grassroots.com did a survey of 67,000 conservatives and Huck won with 34% of the vote. Couple that with Romney's 16% that he will pick up between now and the January caucuses and Huck will have 50% of the vote in Iowa. He's sharp, he's faithful to wife and constituency, He has more executive experience than all the other candidates both Republican and DemoRAT combined, he's not afraid to answer questions and doesn't dodge the issues. He's the right candidate to send Hillary down in defeat. He couldn't manage a cheap, tawdry extra-marital affair, so why does he think he could handle the Presidency.

Paul: The foil-hatters will say he won (without even bothering to watch the debate), but to the other 98% of Republicans, he sounded like somebody's crazy old grandpa.

Lincoln and Douglas: Rolling in their respective graves that this mess was called a "debate."
First Impressions

Yo Pancho? Re-read your Bibles. And learn something about other faiths before you reflexively reject their followers, your fellow human beings.

Christian hypocrites need to re-read your Bibles. Jesus gave 2 supreme commandments. Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. So-called Christians haven't mastered these two most basic lessons of humanity 101, and yet they think they can pontificate on morality?!!! They think they can and should usurp the throne of God and pass judgment on their fellow man. The average atheist is more Christ-like than them. Look yourselves in the mirror, GOP voters, if you have the courage and the wisdom of your so-called "Christian" convictions. And read up on the candidates instead of let them pull a fast one on you again with their acting talents. Preachers are actors too, don't forget. And all the GOP candidates, with the vaquely possible exception of Ron Paul, are LIARS AND HYPOCRITES AND WAR MONGERS. Is this what your so-called faith follows???

First Impressions

Who won the debate? This is why Republicans lost control of Congress in 2006. Unfortunately, he will likely not get the nomination due to the media bias and lack of name recognition. In the classic sense, Paul is the only true republican there is. Fiscally, the two parties are becoming increasingly similar. They are being polarized based on religious views (abortion, gay marriage, etc.) Now, nor has it ever been the president's role to dictate the country's morality. He is not the Pope. It is the individual citizen's that should dictate how they are governed (Constitution). This should occur at the state level.
As a medical student, I am terrified that a Democrat (hillary) will be elected. The socialization of medicine will ruin healthcare in this country. I also really like Dr. Paul's ideas on how to clean up health care, but I am sure those of you that bash him for being crazy have read all of his position's on the issues.

First Impressions

Alan Keyes! I would take a guess none of you who are commenting on him have ever read any of his work. He's got a lot of expertise. Although he comes across a bit strong at times, I think this guy is on to something. We are in a moral crisis in this country. Greed, lust, gluttony, etc. are what we feed off of and eventually our system is going to break and crumble to the ground. Are we all so asleep that none of us can see that this country cannot sustain itself by creating massive debt by printing money out of thin air? I feel like Neo outside the Matrix, full of sheep who are so concerned with racial issues, rebel flags, abortion, gay marriage, etc, that I think in the end we'll all be slaves because no one wants wake up out of their nice amniotic-filled pod...sigh. Please understand that GLOBALISM is real, that the eradication of our SOVEREIGNTY by vastly ambitious so called elites is real, that accepting a worthless commercial piece of paper that has no value because its' value can be inflated or deflated at will is real, that we will all be SLAVES if we don't wake up, is real. God! what the @$#%!@ is wrong with this Nation? Read the book The Creature From Jekyll Island, You Tube Ron Paul, WAKE UP!!!
