In response to an earlier post by Chuck Todd, and as a member of that PBS/NPR crowd" who "dislike debate fireworks," the only thing I have to say is:

STOP DISPARAGING YOUR VIEWERS AND REPORT THE NEWS.

As for Alan Keyes, I was actually a bit impressed by his style. His rhetoric, of course, was ridiculous.

Most people would have found this "boring," since attention spans, both in this country and in the national media are quite short. And, a lot of specifics were mentioned, most of which I opposed, naturally.

Perhaps Mr. Todd would like to run for president instead? He sure does write like a campaign advisor, as well as speak as one.

All that talking and they said nothinh at all. For example:

“The sacrifice we need from the American people is saying, ‘Let the programs go that don’t work. Don’t lobby for them forever,’” said Romney."

Why wouldn't he add that the costliest program for us Americans is Israel which cost us not only trillions of dollars in wars we wage for them but also tens of thousands of our soldiers lives worldwide. If we are ever to return to financial safehaven with the rise of China we better kill the zionist lobby that goes on and on and on. No mention of this by Romney and all the others!!

Watch yourself because you have just said a lie. Israel is the sole democracy in the Middle East. It has a military that abides by the rules the courts there set down for them; as in you can't do that! As to China, the best way we can face them is not to buy from them. We need to bring back factories to the U.S. That is the best way to do; not by cutting off an ally like Israel. We'd have to worry about a nuclear Iraq if the Israelis hadn't stuck the nuclear reactor there.
