What a simpleminded and disingenuous comment from one of the campaign's masters of this sort of thing. Even his supporters will be thinking twice about this silliness.

And his 'disappointment' in Huckabee's thought processes cannot match the disappointment of the thousands, soon to be millions, who have abandoned his candidacy, as evidenced by his avalanchial drop in many polls.

Yet another reason we need to make this a Giuliani/Clinton/Romney-free election!

Huckabee never finished the seminary, so I can KINDA believe him when he said he didn't know about Romney's religion. Of course, comparative religion is a sort of low level class, but give him the credit for not being studious and drop it. He DOES believe in creationism, so at least he was awake PART of the time. I wonder how he does on other religious stuff. I know he got his Baptist girl friend Diane O'Connell a government job even though she had no experience. Cost Arkansas 1.6 million, so I guess he fails at not lying. Let's see, he stole $60,000 out of the taxpayer fund so I guess he missed that class about not stealing. He tried to pay himself as a consultant in his own Senatorial election, so he missed that class on not cheating too. He opened a wedding registry at Target and Dillard's while he was governor so his grateful subjects could buy him presents when he and his wife renewed their vows. Hm - guess he missed that class about not coveting his neighbor's possessions too. Wait - maybe there's a simpler explanation. Maybe the Huckster thinks YOU'RE stupid. After all, he DOES support the FairTax, which doesn't tax corporations AT ALL, and millionaires and up at the same rate as someone who is near poverty level - i.e. less than 5%. Here's the thing - religious people really ARE religious. Who among them wants any truck with THIS devil?

Actually, I am a Mitt Romney supporter and I whole-heartedly agree with what he said about Huckabee. Bashing President Bush is the "politically correct" thing to do right now. That's why he (Huckabee) sounds like he's running the left wing ticket when he whips out that sort of saber-rattling rhetoric. It wasn't profound, it was just flippant.

I voted for Bush and still support him on some things but he has been to arrogant on some things that hurt our party and Huckabee will correct those things. Im glad we have a man that will stand up. After all right is right and wrong is wrong and right will always win. Im so mad at Bush for not pardoning the 2 border patrol sentences when info was withheld at trial about a drug dealer who said he was unarmed. I live on the border and its a joke that a dealer bringing drugs across would not be armed. They have to be armed to keep other cartels from taking their drugs. These men live in solidarity confiement because of the dangers being with other inmates. This is the bunker mentality Bush has and im glad Huckabee calls him on it. Its amazing how many democrats and independents will support Huck.

Bush made mistakes, but made the right choice to confront Islamic fascism in their neighborhoods. More could also be said about misinformation and bad advisers.

The media is just nit-picking something to make a story...Huckabee isn't bashing Bush. This is simply stating his differences from a 'bunker mentality' to working with more diplomacy in foreign policy.

Also, remember....9/11...this is all easier in hindsight. Bush did his job, we are just choosing who's going on with this fight from here.

Huck is fluff. He's all about sound bites and cliches. He has acted very influenced by his religion, and I guarantee he knew enough about Mitt's religion to innocently raise his doctrinal question. I am a Mormon and while I respect Baptists and those of other faiths I have met plenty of Baptists (especially those higher up, like pastors) who smear Mormonism with similar and exact comments. Huck would be the worst thing for the Repubs.

The more Huck talks, the less capable he sounds. The more I try to learn if he has any substance, the more unethical behavior I learn about.

I don't think any of the candidates are perfect, but Huck is quickly falling to my second-to-last choice (in front of only Rudy).

Maybe this makes me sound stupid, but I just don't know:

Will somebody please explain to me what the Holiday Inn Express has to do with Foreign Policy?

So far the only thing I've heard Huck say about foreign policy is that Osama Bin Ladin is like the Brer Rabbit, and that he may not know much about foreign policy, but he stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.... supposedly that somehow relates him to Reagan, but I don't know how!

What? Please someone clue in this confused independent- I have no idea what he is talking about!!!
