You guys are way behind! Ron Paul's campaign has just passed $15 million for the quarter. By the end of the day, he should be in the 17 to 18 million dollar range. Looks like the revolution is happening to fast for the media to keep up.

I love how this incredible story is relegated to one sentence in the "odds and ends" section. Could the bias be anymore obvious. I guess Ron Paul is still not "top tier" material eventhough over 100,000 people with well over 15,000,000 (4th quarter only) feel differently.

The reason it says $13.5 million is because that is the number the Ron Paul campaign included in their press release, which is exactly what First Read used for their Odds and Ends update. They didn't go to the site and get a number, they got an email press release and included it. The release also included a $1.9 million for today so far (as of 11am) number.

So while it is nice to get an updated number, etc, they are just going by what the press release said and will probably post a story when the day is over/tomorrow.

The Participate link on the MTP website does not work, but I wanted to thank the show for having Ron Paul on the Meet the Candidates segment on December 23.

I would like Russert to ask Dr. Paul how he would address global problems if he believes the US should withdraw from the United Nations. Some problems, including disease control, human trafficking, pollution, etc. are issues that require international effort. I believe that RP would improve our relations with other nations, making it easier to work together, but under his foreign policy of peace, wouldn't the UN be an ideal forum for negotiating solutions to the problems that face the entire world?

If you could fix the email link so that I could send this directly to MTP, I would greatly appreciate it.

This is my first experience in seeing the media's truly awesome power to ignore an incredible story. I hope to see MORE articles, in terms of quantity and more OBJECTIVE articles, in terms of quality, from this news source about the record breaking fund raising that has just taken place - record breaking without media exposure, record breaking from GRASSROOTS support only!

Ron Paul has something to say that resonates with us as Americans. He echoes what we as citizens are crying out for - FREEDOM! He talks about issues and concepts that none of the other candidates even come close to talking about. Our money system is based on fiat money which historically has been the downfall of advanced Western civilizations throughout history. We are on this path!!!! Let's change our direction. Google this set of facts - it's imperative that we as citizens understand this stuff!

He talks about the IL-legality of "income" tax. Check out the definition of "income" in Black's Law Dictionary - guess what? Your paycheck doesn't fall under that descriptor. Your paycheck is "compensation" which is NOT TO BE TAXED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION!!! Ron talks about this. Please, check me out on this stuff - Google it, research it in libraries, where ever!

Wake up, people, and take back your country for your own sakes and to show others around the world that we are not a has-been citizenry who are willing to lay down and die when the times are tough. Check out Ron Paul, the honest to goodness "really DOES have a chance to WIN!" CANDIDATE. (note: I called him a CANDIDATE and did not say "dark-horse hopeful" or other such terms that shows a bias AGAINST the person as the media seems to love to do. Beware of the underlying assumptions of statements that are made - they say a lot about the writers of those statements.)

Vote your heart and don't let opinion polls sway you. Vote for freedom. Vote for Ron Paul.

I will not spend time on this post because MSNBC chose to ignore my previous one. I asked if the media was afraid Ron Paul, who still polls in single digits, might actually win.

It may be more accurate to ask if the Democrats, who everyone expects to win, are threatening the media with unfavorable legislation should the media promote a real alternative to the openly liberal agenda of the Democrats and the liberal agenda veiled in conservative-speak of the Republicans.
