All of these Racist and Xenophobic attacks aimed at the Senator will backfire against the party as a whole. In case Democrats forgot, there's only one reason why Blacks ( who are CONSERVATIVE at their core) vote Democrat and not Republican.

It's NOT because of their stand on Abortion

It's NOT because of their stand on Gay Marriage

It's mainly because of a "perceived" notion that Republicans are racist and Blacks have no where else to go. What do Democrats think will happen if the Black Community perceives that Hillary or Edwards won the Democratic Nomination because they used racism and xenophobia against Barack Obama as opposed to the issues? Hmmm? Do you think they will vote party line for the sake of the Party? The party that only talks to them during election season ? Hmmm? Is that what you think will happen? Well, if so, Democrats are in for a huge awakening. I'll make it clear. You guys better (HOPE) that Mike Huckabee is not on the Republican ballot if Hillary Clinton or John Edwards is on the Democratic ballot.

After all the racism that has been revealed within the Democratic Party and the frustration of neglect towards African Americans by Democrats, you better HOPE and pray to "Jaysus" that Mike Huckabee is NOT the Republican nominee because if he is , you can kiss the Black vote GOOD BYE and GOOD RIDDANCE!

Think about it.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

I disagree with him on not increasing penalties for drug offenses and his obvious liberal choice of drug courts and rehab instead of jail time, what good would that do for anyone? You break the law you go to jail.

jerry/corpus christi texas (Sent Monday, December 17, 2007 3:01 PM)

--------------
The jails are overcrowded as it is. If you want all drug related offenders to serve time in jail, open up your wallet and accept the tax increase necessary to build the thousands of jails you'd need.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

Ooops.

Wrong story.

Sorry.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

Jerry lets just keep putting more people in jail thats the answer the war on drugs has been as succesful as prohibition. She went to make money after law school and return later to public service just in time for Rose law firm's contract with the Governor's office.
Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

Per Bee, NH

Clinton is going to be the biggest looser in IA; perhaps, she is going to come 4th.

Obama -- 1st
Edward-- 2nd
Biden -- 3rd
Clinton -- 4th

Save this clip Bee to put on your computer screen (so you can't deny it) to remind yourself how WRONG you were when Hillary comes in first and the Iowans kick Obama to the curb!

GO HILLARY '08

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

Obama is basically just some guy off the street. Imagine of the guy who changes your oil or serves you hot dogs were running for President. That's Obama. Could anyone be LESS qualified to be President?

Clinton has done what women have done for ages: She's rode the coattails of the man in her life to a place of prominence and now basks in the reflected glory of someone who I think was a truly great President: Bill Clinton.

Newsflash! Being married to a great President doesn't make you a great President; it makes you part of the entourage. Nobody shows up to a Springsteen concert wanting to hear the roadies play.

And, being an experienced wife whose only success amounts to benefiting from the indulgence and political access granted by a husband is not relevant Presidential experience.

Edwards is a certifiable PITA. And that's why he should and will be President. I think his time as a lawyer likely involved screwing a lot of regular folk out of a lot of money and pretending that he's doing it because he loves humanity; but, hey, that's what lawyers do. That's how they get rich. It's their nature.

But that's irrelevant. The point here is, Edwards clearly has a serious bug up his butt regarding special interests and big business, and, personally, I don't care why he wants to beat up on them; I'm happy to hold his coat and watch get busy.

The medicine Edwards is selling is exactly what this country needs to take right now to make it well.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

How is Mr. "Trim you sails for donor" Obama going to start fighting the special interests?

He emobodies them. He has ALWAYS given his vote to them from the state and not guaranteeing loan payments to voting the bankruptcy amendment to not limit how much the credit companies could charge...to his big donor Exelon and pushing nuke programs and then the latest 6 month push for Coal in the tax paying funded Liquified Coal Bill that would have polluted our air more.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

Years of Political experience (As a elected Official)
Joe Biden 1973-present (34 years)
Chris Dodd 1975-present (32 years)
Bill Richardson 1983-2001, 2003-present (23 years)
Dennis Kucinch 1970-present (out of office for several terms 23 years)
Mike Gravel 1965-1981 (16 years)
Barack Obama 1997-present (10 years)
Hillary Clinton 2001-present (6 years)
John Edwards 1999-2005 (6 years)
Source: http://www.wqad.com/Global/story.asp?S=5971782
Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

emmy , i guess your the new black plant in here what staff do you work for . For several days, Edwards has been trying to contrast himself to Obama and what he would do when president, so Obama is now doing some contrasting of his own. They are both contenders for the nomination and it's their job to compare/contrast themselves with each other and their other opponents.

The difference here is that they are both sticking to the issues. John Edwards as John Kerry's running mate did not make any impact. He could not even carry is own state. While Senator Obama may be very gifted and talented politician, he is not ready to assume the presidency of the United States of America. Senator Clinton as an agent of change will beat any of the GOP candidate. John Edwards is not authentic and Obama is definitely not ready. His election to the Senate was not a contest, because the GOP (Allan Keyes) candidate was an out of state person who is a professional candidate. I know Hillary likes to speak as though she is one of them, but we know that is not the case no matter how you look at it.

The Democrats true colors are showing quite vividy, being led by none other than the so-called first Black President Bill Clinton. Isn't it ironic that in this day and age, the man who chose Harlem as home to his business, is questioning the "Qualifications" of the Black man running for office. Shameless...

Also, thank you to the person who brought up the TODAY SHOW interview with Ms. Experience herself. Her experience did show up today; the experience of dodging questions and being absolutley disengenous, arrogant and dishonest. Yes, she is experienced, but the question is, what is she experienced in? I do not believe her kind of experience is what our country needs.

Black Evangelicals,

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!!!!!
I have seen far too many so called liberal democrats put their sheet and hood on during this primary. Should this trend continue, it is highly possible that I would strongly consider a moderate republican candidate. If the melanin deficient folk in the democratic party are too vocal about the race factor as a negative, they will cause black folk to exit stage right en masse. That said, Republicans know this already, so beware of republican bloggers in democratic clothing.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

Edwards is a poll watcher.

Pro-war hawk all the way up until he lost in 2004. When asked during the campaign if he would have voted differently now knowing there were no WMD in Iraq, he said he would have voted the same; TO GO TO WAR!

What a friggin' idiot!

Fast forward to 2006, guess what? He's against the war? Who'da thunk? Hmmm...maybe the polls showing lower support had something to do w/it?!?!

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

To fellow Democrats: Do we want to gain the White House in 2008? How about in 2012? I believe we would like to have control in both years, but, if Clinton wins the nomination from our party, we can kiss that place and our proverbial butts good-bye! Plus, may I suggest that we will lose control over Congress too? In 2008 even?

Hillary = Bush Light

Same ol' same ol', over the next 4, 8, 12 years even!
And why you ask? Because the Republican candidate (who ever they choose) will win the national election.

Obama turns up the heat on Edwards

I applaud everyones convictions for their candidate but some are taking this election as a referendum on who can be more emotional.
