Romney is a joke when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. He has never owned a gun, and has been on 2 hunting trips in his entire life. He also lied about the NRA endorsing him.

Huckabee is the real deal, and the natural choice for those who feel strongly about the 2nd Amendment. He not only owns several guns...he has a concealed carry permit (the only governor to ever have one).

Give me a break. And this is from the "positive campaigner" who has too much integrity to ever run a negative ad or say anything negative about an opponent? This is typical Huckabee. It's okay for him to attempt to rip apart Romney's record, but he has yet to defend his own. Romney's ads called him out on several issues and when put on the hot seat, Huckabee can't explain them except to say that Romney is "lying". Really? When asked 4 TIMES in last night's debate (and again on by Sean Hannity after the debate) about the net change of taxes in Arkansas, Huck refused to give a straight answer. Why? Because Romney was right. What else in Romney's ads were correct? My guess? pretty much everything, since Huckabee hasn't defended any of it.

Afterall, he wouldn't want to appear "negative" by defending his own record...

I'm sorry but Mike Huckabee is such a hypocrite. He talks about being the leader who is above the horizontal-finger pointing politics, above the left-right, right-left, democrat-republican blame game.

Shortly before announcing his candidacy for the President of the United States, Huckabee ordered that the drives of 83 computers and 4 servers be destroyed during his transition phase in leaving office. He raised taxes 21 times and granted clemency to 1033 convicted felons, 12 murderers and rapists. Try to improve his tough on crime image with Chuck Norris. (Give me a break! If they were selling weight lose machine it would be more convincing!) He has a 2 1/2 year of religious higher education and as a minister selling religion for a living with people's donation for 12 years. I think it's still WAY TOO EARLY for anyone to lock in with their decision about who should be president. There's still a lot of election process to come.
One thing that did stick out for me in the debates the other night: Romney's quick defense of drug companies for providing a valuable service to society and how they deserve to make the profits they do. Hmm . . . I wonder what special interest groups might be contributing to his campaign.

On Huckabee and taxes, just look at the actual record. Taxes as a percentage of income grew less in Huckabee's Arkansas than in most other states, during the same ten and a half years.

Read the raw facts, not the critics with ulterior motives. The Club for Growth's largest contriburors are Romnet supporters and an Arkansas billionaire for whom Huckabee didn't snap to attention when he wanted cooperation. Huckabee is easily the strongest conservative in the field sociallt and fiscally. And, he's also strong about American defense. All of that is from a lifelong conservative who has observed the facts and the process closely.

But, he isn't mad and indifferent to true human needs, and that is a frustration to some conservatives.

The ethics violations brought against Huckabee were from members of the Arkansas media with an agenda for news stories and democratic party activists. They were bogus, and the only one finding of an illegal gift was reversed on appeal. Destroying computer drives when leaving office is actually a good idea. I read an article at a UK website (I wish I had bookmarked it) about a computer that was sold from a politician's office with a drive that was not replaced and it had a lot of private info on it that should not have been shared and it caused a lot of problems. Huckabee earned a 4-year degree in 2 1/2 years. He has an incredible work ethic and it saved money.

In fact, anyone in the mainstream LDS church that attempts anything of the source is immediately excommunicated (kicked out). The television show "Big Love" is fictional and based on a break off group from the original LDS religion (like the Fundamentalist LDS group, who's leader, Warren Jeffs, was recently sentenced to a minimum of 10 years in prison for his role in a rape case). In fact, when the show was first aired, HBO specifically stated that it was not based on the mainstream LDS church in Utah, despite it being set in the same state.

Furthermore, no Mormon would ever deny that Brigham Young was a polygamist. It's a matter of record. We're not stupid. Abraham was a polygamist too, so why aren't you smearing him?

Only an idiot would think that the Mormon church is a disguise for child molestation. That is utter nonsense based on absolutely nothing.

Huckabee's career was to be a baptist. Romney's career was to be a venture capitalist. So Romney is a former businessman and Huckabee is a former preacher. Big deal. What else would you have them say about Huckabee before he entered politics?

BTW, Mormon leadership is a lay ministry- they don't get paid for leading a congregation... that isn't their profession, they keep doing whatever job they were doing when they were asked to lead. The position only lasts for a few years (usually around 5) and then someone else is asked to do it.
