Hillary was asked about Obama's rejoinder that there's something vaguely un-American about dismissing hopes as false, and that it doesn't jibe with the careers of figures like like John F. Kennedy and King.

"Dr. King's dream began to be realized when President Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act," Clinton said. "It took a president to get it done."

Clinton didn't explicitly compare herself to Johnson, or Obama to King. But it seems an odd example for the argument between rhetoric and action, as there's little doubt which figure's place in history and the American imagination is more secure.

"The power of that dream became real in people's lives because we had a president" capable of action, Clinton said.

The interview was taped, and I listened in. It's set to air later today.

3) Hillary then goes on ABC news and nearly cries. When I say "nearly cries", what I mean is she did all she could to muster and evoke the IDEA of possessing these sticky things called "emotions". CLEARLY, the vitcim here, of a male-dominated world, this poor gal is just tryin' to be President. Fer CRYIN' OUT LOUD! (Or "Lay-owed", when visiting southern states).

4) A rather mysteriously timed pair of "sexist male protetstors" show up during a speech and "disrupt"it, before Hillary unleashes an entirely spontaneously composed rebuttal to their so obviously sexist ways.

It's quite possible that the episode was planned by the Clinton campaign. One of the two men was found to have a Clinton for President" sticker on his carrying case. See the following article at http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/dc/2008/01/sexist-jamokes-disrupt-hillary.htm , which reports that one of the men, "Nick Gemelli, who is 21, and born at least a decade after “iron my shirts” was an anti-women’s rights slogan, didn’t have much of a rationale. “I just don’t think a woman should be President,” he said.

He couldn’t really say why, but he agreed that he was a health care voter, as the sticker on his carrying case implied. The “Hillary for President” sticker was a bit more of a puzzle.

There is no real "change" in Obama's rhetoric. Obama reminds me of G.W. Bush when he was running for president in 2000. Cliche: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I'm independent and I'm not going with the inexperience again. Whoever the nominees are, I'm going with the most experienced and one who has the record to show for.
G.W. Bush said in 2000 he was all about change but look at what has happen to this country:
1. war in Iraq. Iraq war continues because Obama kept voting to authorize $300 billion to fund the war. We need a fighter, someone who is willing to stand up against the status quo. Obama had several years to prove that he was the agent of change but chose not to because he has no back bone. Just because you spoke against the war, doesn't mean you would bring about change.
2. America's reputation is ruined around the world because we, as americans, put the inexperienced in the Whitehouse....because we buy into their rhetoric.
3.list goes on.
We Need someone with a clear record on National Security, Foreign policy experience, and real accomplishments.

G.W. Bush didn't put this country in a turmoil because he's a republican but because he did not have enough experience to lead this country.

I respect hilary but I know how the clinton's opreate. This is another example of their deceptive tactics. They do plant things to make her look good.
Before Iowa, she had concentrated all her efforts on the 30 and above crowd, but after realizing that Obama carries 18 to 50, she's switched gears once again and is now trying to sound like the younger generation is priority to her when she never gave one thought about them. She just thought the presidency was going to be handed to her on the golden platter. I listened to both her and obama, and believe me it's not because she's a woman, but you can clearly tell who is honest between the two, and it isn't hilary.
