Barack Obama… the jury is still out… can I as an American and a Christian actually vote for someone educated from infancy outside of the United States??? I don’t underestimate the significance of a child’s adolescence and how it influences the rest of his life… he's does not salute the flag when the National Anthem is played… the next time you attend an event where the National Anthem is played, look around and notice how few people do not salute the Flag… the Flag, “Old Glory,” represents every ancestor you and I have who have ever lost their lives for that Flag… Mr. Obama may be a great person, but his childhood and seemingly lack of patriotism, make me question what his real intentions would be if elected to the White House… I'm sure change is the correct word to use to describe his candidacy… I'm just not sure what kind of change it would be… how will this change impact my life??? We do need change… but change that also includes the traditions and values of most Americans… does he want to be the leader of the free world to help strengthen our National pride, our economy, our communities, our youth, and solidify this country’s place in the next millennium… will he stand-up to the pressure of the world’s influence and continue to uphold the principles that have made this country great??? Will he give ground to the pressures of the outside world for the United States to conform to the way the rest of the world thinks??? I believe for this country to move forward we must first stand our ground… maintain our identity as a people… teach our children not to be haters of things or people they don’t understand, but at the same time remain true to their heritage and protect it… America was built on the shoulders of strong men and women who had a core set of values and stuck to their guns… we need a leader who will put America first… will he be able to set-aside his feelings for the hardships that part of his family in other countries endures, and focus on the feelings and hardships of every American’s family??? Considering his childhood, he must be a man torn between two ideologies… which one will he choose??? Is his candidacy about changing America to strengthen it, or more about changing the world by changing America??? Is it more about making the world a stronger better place to live, by weakening America??? In the end I feel it is my responsibility as an American and a Christian to vote for the candidate with the strongest voice that mirrors my belief system… to vote for the candidate I feel will pave the road for my children’s children to live in a future where a Christian is still the majority voice in this great country…

Why did they select him????His sixth and seventh important acts as a senator were to vote for a bill that made it nearly impossible for ordinary people to sue giant corporations who rob & defraud. He voted for President Bush’s energy bill, sending more than $13 billion in subsidies and tax breaks to oil, coal, and nuclear companies. He voted to allow credit card companies to raise interest rates over 30 percent. He spoke out against the Patriot Act, only to vote in favor of reauthorizing it, he cannot commit to have all troops out of Iraq by 2013, supported Bush’s sanctions against Iran and co-sponsored a bill designating the Iranian National Guard a terrorists organization, he implied he’d invade Pakistan, he favors amnesty for illegal immigrants, he is for entitlement programs that will increase the deficit leaving the burden on taxpayers.. He has no consistency on the issues of social security and taxes, in the very beginning he was for raising the cap, then having all options on the table, then appointing a bipartisan commission, now he’s back to raising the cap.. he also accepts money from lobbyists & PAC’s while claiming he’s the “anti-establishment candidate

Our weather you think he has enough experience or not. Every American owes Barrack Obama a debt of gratitude. He going against all odds just stop and think about it. His skin color, his Muslim Grandmother, multi racial background, experience, and he was raced by a single mom, also his willingness to fight for economic equality for all people. "Barack Obama began his career organizing working families who were trying to pick up their lives as their industries were leaving them behind. Obama fans, I have put this question out for three days and I have yet to get an answer. Why did Obama vote "Present" on every bill that came up in the the Ill. Senate having to do with a woman's right to choose? I know one thing, Hillary would never vote "Present" on any woman's right to choose bill. Why would any Democrat vote for a person who doesn't have the conviction to vote for a bill concering a woman's right to choose? And the media wants to talk about Hillary Trianglelating?

Also, why would any Democrat vote for Cheney's energy bill, that was written by Enron, like Obama did? You know the bill that gave billions of tax breaks to the oil companies. Hillary did not vote for it, for that reason. I have still yet to hear an explanation for that vote and why hasn't the media talked about that either?

You Obama fans can bring up her Iraq vote, we all know about that and I don't agree with that either. But Obama fans, please give me an explanation.

Is it that you can't justify his actions and choose not to answer this question, or is it that you had know idea because the media never told you anything about his record? I will keep posting this question until someone who supports Obama can explain his voting record on these issues.

Many members of that union are immigrants who are not citizens of the United States, and therefore cannot vote in the caucus in Nevada.

Hillary has overwhelming support in Nevada, especially in the Hispanic community and is leading there in the polls, so I fully expect a win there for her.

no one has to explain this. the truth about the votes are easily researchable as well as explainable justifiably so. go take a look if you want to know the truth. the spin that has been put on that was stopped because the resons would have made hrs look bad when the strategy for doing so would become known. hrc has years of abstention votes in the senate for justfiable reasons. obama could have put a spin on that but chose the high road to not kneecap. we are trying to get beyond the ugly politic. why is it that some feel the need to continue the divisive ugly nature of politics that has kept our country so divided for so long? i don't get it. why must we be so ugly and apart instead of at least trying to heal this country?
