So where has Romney's voice been these past 7 years about Washington, the Bush crowd and the Republican Congress which had plenty of time to address Romney's issues? He certainly had time to layoff employees while he was "restructuring" private companies but now he says he'll fight for every job. It's all about pandering for votes. He'll say anything yet he has supported the Bush administration and GOP policies with nary a word of critcism until now. And he fully supports Bush's War and would continue same, regardless of the human and financial cost. He should be summarily rejected as a viable candidate for he only speaks of "change" with no history of trying to bring it about.

Mitt Romney is by far the best choice for President. All the "flip flop" accusations are unjustified - look at the man's record (not the one taken from bits and pieces of quotes). Many people have worked for him and I've not heard one negative thing about him. I believe he is a man of character and will do the right thing. John McCain has been in Washington for over 20 years and has managed to side with the liberal agenda too many times. He has a not so cool head at times and has had a scandalous personal life as well. Mike Huckabee appeals to those who would rather have a preacher than a man with any economic, foreign policy or general sense...that is what they've said, as ridiculous as it sounds. Huckabee continues to ask whether we would be happier with the man we worked beside or the man who laid us off - typical Democrat speak (class envy). Personally I can't imagine anyone I work with as President. Corporations are where the jobs come from - Huckabee fails to mention that little fact. I pray for Mitt Romney to win Michigan and many more!

While I don't agree with everything that Romney says I do agree that if someone can change Washington economically, it's him.

In your message you tried to make it sound like he was the evil corporate guy that fired people just before Christmas. I mean, that is what is in your mind isn't it when you think of someone that goes around and changes failing companies, right? Well, did you actually think about what would happen or how many more people would be let go if the company went bankrupt? Did you? I'll make this easy for you. Let's say you have 1000 people in a company that's about to go under in six months and have all of them lose their jobs, and you have someone who comes in, restructures it so that you can save say, 600 of those jobs and make the company profitable. You seem to think that you'd rather have ALL of them be out of work, right? It's a good thing you're not in charge.

Actually, it's a good thing Huckabee isn't in charge either, he doesn't even know the definition of NET INCREASE in talking about how he lowered taxes 90+ times, but miraculously fails to remember the 20+ times he raised taxes that produced a NET INCREASE by half a billion dollars. Take Econ 101, come back, and then you can complain about Huckabee too. Of course at the last debate he didn't even deny it as he's done in the past when Thompson called him on it. In his eyes now, he didn't raise taxes... (get this) he "raised hope."

That's not a Republican platform and yes, Thompson was right. Deal with it.

It seems that there are people who incessantly post the flipflop BS on every Romney post. McCain or Huckabee operatives? Maybe the same people who made the push poll calls in NH and IA right at the time of the Huckabee and McCain surges in those states?

Has Huckabee ever flipflopped? Sure he has. Many many times. Anyone concerned about that? McCain is the biggest flipflopper of all over the place - tax cuts and amnesty (oops, the jury is still out on whether he has actually disowned favoring amnesty). Anyone concerned about that?

What it boils down to is that McCain only has two talking points: war and amnesty and Huckabee has some but I have no idea what they are because he only speaks in generalities and cracks some good jokes.

McCain's solution to Michigan's economic woes: retraining. I guess McCain thinks that we need more Wal-mart clerks and call center customer reps. He wants to flush the auto industry. Huckabee's solution will be forthcoming once he gets finished reading an economics text book someone loaned him.

I am a middle class American. I care about my family, my job, and my nation (in that order). I have never been actively involved in politics before, but Mitt Romney inspires me. There is no one else running for president that even comes close to having his resume or capabilities.

Is anyone out there fed up with Huckabee using his religion to leverage his campaign? He knows that the bulk of his support comes from evangelicals that believe that Mormons are not Christians so in order to not offend this group he says things like, "You should not vote for Mitt because he is a Mormon just as you should not vote for me because I am Christian," or when asked by the press, "Is Mitt Romney a Christian?" He responds, "That is a question for Mitt Romney," and then rebuffs, "I don't know that much about Mormons, don't they believe that Jesus and the Devil are brothers?"

These are all calculated comments to pander to his base. If he answered, Mormons are Christians, they believe Jesus Christ is their Savior and they try to follow His example, he would lose his base, so instead he plays innocent to the matter but for those of his supporters with ears to hear, he is reinforcing their beliefs about Mormons.

One final note...the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) holds classes indoctrinating their members about Mormons (Mormon Bashing 101) in areas where Mormon churches are being built or growing. Mike Huckabee was a guest speaker at their national convention in Salt Lake City, UT in 1998, the year famous to Utahns when the SBC set out to convert members in Salt Lake City to convert from their cult lifestyle. Mike Huckabee knows what LDS people believe and has probably taught some of these bashing courses himself during his run as a pastor. The fact that he acts innocent and uses his religion for leverage is dispicable and anything but an honorable campaign as he constantly asserts. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing in more ways than one. Watch out for this guy with his rehearsed preacher tone and manerisms, it comes across as approachable, but that is what they teach you at the seminary school.
