I'm curious about one thing - do any of these candidate's spouses work? Elizabeth Edwards is ill I realize. But what about Romney's wife and I might add - his SONS - don't they have jobs? Or are they being paid by the Romney campaign? Huckabee's wife - does she have a job? McCain's wife?

I know Michelle Obama can't be on the road all the time; she has a job and two small children to care for.

Anyone know? Did they all take leaves of absences from their jobs?

Do we really want "clones" of Justice Roberts? What kind of rulings has he been a part of that we should be worried about? How much does his "pro-life" stance really matter? If you are stupid enough to be one issue voter, then I guess it does.

We, as citizens and voters, need to look into this kind of suggestion. What kind of justice is Roberts? What kind of senator is Coburn? Do you like his voting record and his other actions? If so, how much influence should his statement have on you? These are questions that not enough people are asking themselves.

I am a democrat but have been looking pretty favorably at McCain. However, this just turned me completely off. I wouldn't vote for him now if he was the only one running. We need a check box that says none of the above and a law that prohibits these same candidates from running again. Good luck U.S., we'll need it.

Just wanted to make a comparrison for ya. If you'll look at name-sake legislation, and activities in the Senate, Mr. Coburn has accomplished so much more in his time in the Senate than Hillary has. Maybe he's there to serve, and she's there for a stepping stone.

By the over 90% rejection of Ron Paul, it is clear the American people want to stay in Iraq. If we are staying in Iraq, we need to win. John McCain is the only candidate who knows what it takes and tells it like it is. If you do not want to stay in Iraq, instead of attacking John McCain, support Ron Paul.

The other candidates in both parties will to a greater or lesser extent continue the status quo of abandoning our troops overseas without the resources necessary to win decisively.

ALS commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease is the most horrible disease in our modern times. ALS is the disease that takes a deadly toll on the body by a process of total muscle paralysis, which causes death in a very short time. Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma is the Doctor that thinks the Center for Disease Control collecting data on the variables of ALS is a waste of money. The ALS Registry Act S. 1382 was written and introduced four years ago. Endless hours by ALS Advocates and congressional time taken to approve and make sure it is acceptable has all been lost. The Senator found a way to kill the clock just before the other team won; Senate trickery called a "Hold." No public explanation yet but we learn today that the Doctor has politiical objectives other than Saving Lives.

I will sleep a lot better at night knowing that President John McCain's steady hand is at the helm. We are very naive if we do not recognize the complexities and dangers of the world. He respects the rule of law and has the integrity to speak the truth. Please, let's give him a chance. He's earned it.
