Things are moving fast on the campaign trail. Fred Thompson is done. Huckabee is also but won't accept it. Rudy....I am sorry but...say goodnight. I like the upcoming long battle between Romney and McCain. I like the background and confidence of Romey and his age and vigor. He's not afraid to see the other side of things and he's sharp, especially on the economy and business and government management. Indications are that we don't need a tax raiser in the White House we need a money manager. Romney fits that profile. I have no problem with his clean cut All American look. It's refreshing and gives me confidence in his professionalism. He's got great credentials. John McCain has been around a long time. Maybe like Bob Dole was. Both are war heroes and they have earned my respect but...John scares me. He may have built-up hatred in him because of his brutalizing punishment in Viet Nam. I watch for that when he speaks. I have seen it from him when he sits on Senate Investigating Panels. He can be vicious and non-bending. Yes, John McCain led the largest US Naval Squadron in history. Thank God for him, but that was 40 years ago when he was young and I was young and our country was younger and we were all nieve. A lot has happened in 40 years and we need a new leader very soon. I am going to pull for Mitt Romney.

America doesn’t get it.
These tax and spend candidates who think they can buy off the media and the American people indefinately are falling apart. They aren’t ‘cutting costs’. They are suffering the consequences that their adolescent money habits have caused.
Look at Congressman Paul. He doesn’t piss our time away with jokes and personal attacks on others.
And he doesn’t piss away the money his trusting supporters have contributed. As recently as November, the man , 72 years old, traveled alone on commercial airlines (torture), carried his own luggage and was careful with the funds we gave him.

The mainstream media hasn’t helped Ron Paul advance and he doesn’t need them. So why ‘buy’ them with free air travel?

I am convinced Americans can’t see a solution to the nation’s problems, even when it’s right under their noses.

As president, Ron Paul would run the nation’s finances the same way he handles his campaign finances - carefully - soberly - honoring his oath of office.

Doesn’t matter to me. If you fail to wake-up and elect the one true statesman in the running, I’ll just buy your crashed-out assets; homes, stocks, and your companies at deep discounts and make more fortunes.

You deserve it.

Mitt is impressive.

A year ago I was an employee. I could see the amount of money I was making for the company compared to the inefficiencies, my tight pay, and lack of benefits.

I’m now enjoying the opportunities before me as I struggle through the first year of self employment. Although I was a very good employee, I can see that I would have been a better employee if I had first been in my employer’s position. My views as an independent have shifted slightly right.

Being successful in business is not easy. Being responsible in business is not easy. Providing jobs for other people is not easy. Innovating is inherent to successful business and growth. Freedom and fair-play is essential to business success.

Mitt has made a success of everything he’s done. He seems incapable of settling for failure. I expect he will do whatever it takes to make America successful.

While I do not completely agree with all his policy—at least he has policy and solutions. His greatest quality is that he is a compromiser (some call it flip-flopping)—not in ethics and morality but in getting things done. If some method does not work he finds a new way. He sees the real problems and formulates policy.

While I agree with Obama on the problems of the common American, I believe Mitt has the solutions:

Jobs—gain back America’s global business edge, stop allowing companies to undercut American labor by paying illegal labor, increase research and development, increase infrastructure, increase the value of the dollar.

Humanity—make jobs, welcome proper immigration, create a way for health care for all, decrease taxes on middle America, feed the American Dream.
Make America work—reduce government inefficiency (not services), decrease dependence on foreign energy (also improving the environment), remove government grid-lock (with compromise), restore foreign respect (he is intelligent, thoughtful, and he compromises)
Our problems need new thinking.

I like McCain because of his straight talk. He's not afraid to say what he believes will be good for our country even though it might not be popular, unlike Rommey who only say things that will make you feel good. Florida to me is the most interesting primary yet. With it's winner takes all delegate count it will trully effect this race. Even with Romney's 20 delegate lead nationally it would put any winner back in the race. If Mitt wins it would really put the hurt to all of the others. It's almost make or break for everyone but Romney.

If what we're facing is economic problems on the horizon, I can't imagine a better candidate than Mitt. Though he has been a success with every thing he's done in his professional life, the important thing to understand is that he almost always starts with a situation that is at a disadvantage and turns it around. That's impressive. A couple of great examples were Staples and Domino Pizza, the reason they're around at all today, or as big as they are is because of Romney and his company. I like the option to get pizza at midnight, and one of my wife's best friends recently jumped ship from the failing Circuit City to go work for Staples as a store manager. The reason she as a job right now is indirectly because of Mitt. I have a great deal of faith in the abilities he'll bring to the presidency as well as confidence in how he and his family will behave in public. I'm not seeing any embarrassing Romney family incidents in the press.

In many ways Mitt Romney seems too good to be true. Do we dare believe? However, I actually think most of the candidates are better intentioned than the press makes them out to be. Dishonesty and deception doesn't get one very far in the real world. In any case, I am voting for Mitt.
