Am I the only one appalled by the behavoir of Hillary and Obama last night? First, Hillary:

She behaved like a jealous teenager that was about to have her prom date taken from her. Unreal!

Then, Obama:

Is anyone else outraged at his comment when asked if Bill Clinton was the first Black President? Quote"I'd have to see him dance first" end quote. Now I know he was joking, but had someone else make a generalization about another race like that and they would have been crucified in the press. At the very least, it showed a total lack of couth and it was not appropriate for a presidential debate. I can just imagine the other world leaders as they watched this debacle. They were probably licking their chops at the thought that one of these two might actually become our next President.

Please, for all that's right in the world...SUPPORT JOHN MCCAIN.

He is the only candidate that behaves Presidential. he is also the only one who can not only galvanize our country but bring back the respect we need to have on a global level by treating other countries w/ respect as well.

I have been voting since 1952, IKE, I have always voted for the person I thought was best for my country, in all that time I have only voted for 2 losers. Both times it was against Clinton. I believe in John McCain and know he is the one that can stand the pressure of the job we are faced with now. With age comes experience, plus the fact that he is honest with us. I want less government in my life, I am a human also with brains enough to make the right decisions for my family. Give government the job of keeping America safe, healthy,free and employed.

McCain will be in NYC today to receive the endorsement of former US Senator Alfonse D'Amato. Having been snubbed by Rudy Giuliani back in 1994, after then Mayor Giuliani endorsed Demorcrat, Mario Cuomo, for Senator of NY, D'Amato will throw his support behind John McCain for President. Imagine the hairs on Giuliani's head, they must be standing up to the hilt once Guiliani heard this news. John McCain has demonstrated his ability to identify 'hot air' when he hears it. He asks pertinent questions and maintains his focus on our problems, rather than spout rhetoric! He experience in foreign affairs FAR outways any other candidates, on either side of the aisle. Let's put someone in office who can see the bigger picture and move us out of the 'World War 3' extreme conflicts we're in now.

The age question should be replaced with a legitimate consideration of each candidate's overall health. We've all met extremely fit 80 year olds and failing 45 year olds!

Go John McCain. As a reformed Democrat, I'm afraid that the other Dems aren't going to figure out the tragedy of nominating Clinton and they'll select her as their nominee. If that's the case, McCain has this former Democrat's vote. I don't agree w/ him on everything, but he is an honorable man and the Clintons would serve themselves well to observe him and act more like John McCain.

Yeah, let's talk immigration with McCain. That's the debate I can't wait to hear. Wait wait....let me guess: "if McCain simply cracks down on employers of illegals that would do it". So what is being suggested once again by a Republican, is that we should GROW the size of the Government, right? Because in order to inforce this, you are going to have to create an entire new bureaucracy to take care of that.

I'm tiered of the Republicans CLAIMING that they like small Governement and the Democrats like Huge governments when they continue to try to ligislate peoples lives on Immigration, a womans choice, drugs, consentual crimes, etc. All the while, they have had control of all three branches of Government for the past 7 years and have piled up HUGE deficits, massive spending and pork in congress and on the Presidents desk, and now Bush wants a larger stimulus package than any Democrat you can find.

As an independent, I will vote for Senator McCain if he is nominated. I have no problem to vote a woman as a president as long as she is a right one. I was leaning to vote for Democratic Party until President Clinton gave me the feeling that he is running his third term. The attack between Senators Clinton and Obama is not helpful for the party and President Clinton has been the leading man in this drama. I am hoping Senator McCain gets his nomination and he will be a very good president - honest, bipartisan, and experienced.

Through attrition by enforcing the law! If they can't get illegal work they will go on their own. I will gladly vote for McCain if he simply cracks down on employers of illegals instead of giving them a Z visa and continue to drag down the economy threw lower wages and overwhelming our social services. Through attrition? Are you kidding? If they can't find a job, where do you think they are going to go? Back home where there are.........NO JOBS? Why do you think they come here? Do you think they will build a nice little raft and float across the Atlantic to Europe? There will ALWAYS be employers paying these guys under the table. It's cheap labor. John McCain grew up Episcopalian. He went to an Episcopalian high school. For at least 15 years, he has been listed as an Episcopalian in authoritative directories such as the Almanac of American Politics and Congressional Quarterly's Politics in America 2008. He told a reporter from McClatchy News Service in June 2007 that he was an Episcopalian.
Suddenly, in September 2007, he's campaigning in South Carolina, the heavily Baptist state where George W. Bush barely managed to stop McCain's presidential campaign 8 years ago. And guess what? McCain tells a reporter "By the way, I'm not Episcopalian. I'm Baptist."
When pressed, he said he's attended the North Phoenix Baptist Church in Arizona for more than 15 years, though he has never been baptized in that church. Now see, that's exactly the problem. Baptism is kind of a big thing in the Baptist Church. (That's how they got the name.) No baptism, not Baptist.
Anyway, details aside, this is one very clear indication of how McCain has changed. Now, he's just another hungry politician, happy to pander if it helps him win. Which eliminates the very reason people were excited about him in 2000 -- his honesty.

Back in the old days, defendants in famous trials got numbers -- the Chicago Eight, the Gang of Four, the Dave Clark Five, the Daytona 500. McCain was one of the "Keating Five," congressmen investigated on ethics charges for strenuously helping convicted racketeer Charles Keating after he gave them large campaign contributions and vacation trips.
Charles Keating was convicted of racketeering and fraud in both state and federal court after his Lincoln Savings & Loan collapsed, costing the taxpayers $3.4 billion. His convictions were overturned on technicalities; for example, the federal conviction was overturned because jurors had heard about his state conviction, and his state charges because Judge Lance Ito (yes, that judge) screwed up jury instructions. Neither court cleared him, and he faces new trials in both courts.)
Though he was not convicted of anything, McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,00 in contributions. In the mid-1980s, McCain made at least 9 trips on Keating's airplanes, and 3 of those were to Keating's luxurious retreat in the Bahamas. McCain's wife and father-in-law also were the largest investors (at $350,000) in a Keating shopping center; the Phoenix New Times called it a "sweetheart deal."

In 1995, McCain sent birthday regards, and regrets for not attending, to Joseph "Joe Bananas" Bonano, the head of the New York Bonano crime family, who had retired to Arizona. Another politician to send regrets was Governor Fife Symington, who has since been kicked out of office and convicted of 7 felonies relating to fraud and extortion.
