Can the guy who asserts that work done before public life doesn't count (won't release sermons while running as "Christian leader") really go after Mitt for what he did in his private life? More to the point, these comments show his total lack of understanding of the economy. The government has set up so many disincentives to keeping money and business in America that companies that want to compete are forced out. The Republican repsponse is to remove the disencintives and to create incentives to stay here, the Democrat (and Huckabee) response is to try to set up un-American barriers (Huck wants the government to regulate CEO salaries!?!?). Regulations don't work. A smart money guy, Romney, would pull down the regulations, get rid of the disincentives through tax breaks, and create new incentives to work here. Huck, don't blame the guy who grew jobs at Bain (according to the Boston Globe, certainly no friend to Mitt) for being smart enough to compete in this admittedly flawed economy. Work a little harder to understand how to grow the economy. Going after businesses and businessmen is not the way.

The battle for Florida

The key words in what Huckabee said are the same ones we keep hearing from him over and over. "I'm not sure."
