not surprising, a negatively slant from FR against HRC. The bias is almost comical at this point. Obama has been giving the same speech for months, including the story about the woman who inspired the fired up ready to go mantra, yet FR has nothing to say about that. the media can continue to say whatever it wishes about the campaign and the candidates themselves, but it's clear the real loser the cycle is the media itself. Everything from predictions based on polls (NH) to blatant candidate favoritism (Obama) has ensured that!

Can somebody point out that Senator Clinton's plan on capping mortgage rates is VOLUNTARY (and therefore no different from what President Bush has already put in place). She's trying to get credit for something that can't be done (contracts are already in place). Nowhere on her website or in any of her speeches does "voluntary" come up. Somebody has got to call her on the latest in this cynical game

Actually, her 'work' for the Children's Defense Fund was to create the state-level alliance, The Arkansas Advocates for Children and Family, which is a public policy not-for-profit that does NOT deal directly with the families and children and communities. They merely raise a ton of money, none of which is funneled down to the actual children and families in need and crises. They lobby for laws.
Anyway, I just don't find this "First Read" newsworthy. Can you tell me why this is considered newsworthy?

It is great to have Hillary back in SC! Many thought that SC did not belong in the US anymore... Hillary came so excited--filled with old slogans and nothing new. Only someone who has experienced being part of a minority can understand and heal the needs of the minorities. Hillary doesn't have that experience.

I'm just tired of the talk about fixing the economy focusing on telling us that Bush did a bad job. I've been alive for the last seven years, I've seen what happened. Don't tell me what I already know, tell me what you are going to do about it, I'm sick of slam jobs by the left and right, Hilary and Obama, Cheney and Rove. Handing out money taken from tax payers, to people who don't pay taxes is just plain wrong. To argue that poor people will spend it faster is lame. He knows how to make pretty speeches, which he has long prepared, but when it comes time to make responces at debates he flounders..not able to think on his feet.
