If I remember correctly John Kennedy had some experience in the Senate before he decided to run for president. Barack Obama is the true example of a POLITICIAN,¨ a person who runs for public office for personal gain and who seizes opportunity without actually earning the right", it is something that he denies and is a LINCHPIN OF HIS CANDIDACY that he is not a politician. Let´s face it, Barack Obama has been campaigning for president eversince he was elected senator of Illinois only four years ago. I remember years ago there was a commercial about an investment firm starring the actor John Houseman in which he stated that an unblemished reputation only comes from " doing this the old fashioned way, earning the right", it seems that Mr. Obama only wants things handed to him without having had to earn them. If I remember correctly, John Kennedy earned the right to run for president, Mr. Obama has not.

Caroline Kennedy backs Obama

Unfortunately, we need more than inspiration. JFK had both domestic and international political experience and knowledge before being elected to the presidency.

Caroline Kennedy backs Obama

So the torch is being passed from the remaining survivor of the Camelot White House to Sen. I still have very little interest in politics. I think it's dishonest milieu and the career politicians are people, for the most part, who would not make it in the corporate world.
Barack's candidacy changed my views a little bit. At least I will participate in the election process and I will be supporting him. I believe that there is dose of willingness to move things forward and at least attempt to change politics as usual.
I am trying to convince a group of friends who are very successful in their lives but turned off by these politicians to get engaged.
I think Barack's ability to bring people in is very, very powerful. This should not be discounted and the democratic party should take notice. This guy is expanding the base. Being inspired to act will only get us so far. We still need preparation and planning. There is a decree of naivity when Obama says that rich people don't hate poor people. Moral persuasion is not likely to change their attitutes - churches have been trying that for centuries.

Caroline Kennedy backs Obama

aahhhhhhhh, the Kennedys Behind Obama is worrysome given their history of luck....don't if that's good or bad yet..we'll see.

Caroline Kennedy backs Obama

This was a brave step by Caroline, she usually keeps this type of subject close to the vest. Ladies, this is your moment in American History. This coming election is huge, it is Massive. You have for the first time in American history the opportunity to put the FIRST FEMALE in the Oval Office and yet you don't support one another on this. Don't let this opportunity slip through your fingers.

Yes, I am a man, a man who sees all women as his equal and yet it takes a man to point out to all you ladies how much you have at stake here. Currently, there is not one other female politician with has much clout or experience as Hillary and it could possibly be another 5 or 10 or 20 years from now before another one comes along. Do you really want to wait that long before you get another chance at seeing a Female elected President? Aren't you sick and tired of having a man always tell you what to do? I know I would be.

What you ladies need to do is stand shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand, from state to state, from border to border, from coast line to coast line and forget that your white, forget that your black or any other race, forget that you are 22 or 82, forget that you are Republican or Democrat but REMEMBER that you all are FEMALE. You must come together as one. You must UNITE.

Personally, I believe in Hillary. I believe she can be as equally good of a President as any man. I see Hillary as "America's Lady of Hope". I hope she is elected President because I believe what this country needs more than anything else is a "Little Mothering". There has been a of talk about bringing this nation together and who is best suited to do so. It takes a Mother to bring this Nation together, not a man. History has proven that time and time gain.

Ladies, you must UNITE and help put Hillary in the White House so that she can MOTHER this great nation back to health.

Caroline Kennedy backs Obama

I loved JFK for his wit and his vigorous campaign for civil rights, however he had many flaws and his policies did lead directly to our engagemet in Vietnam.
