I, and many others, want some more coverage of the rest of the field. Establishment media is directing this race with their preferential treatment and "expert analysis".

Ron Paul was awesome in the few minutes he was permitted to speak in last night's debate; the moderation of that debate was abysmal. CNN, like MSNBC, wants to decide who the party's nominee will be. Remember Mike Gravel, yeah, I'd like to hear some more about him too.

Perry is an absolute clown. He's only governor b/c there were 4 candidates in the race in '06. He was elected by about 40% of Texans despite an approval rate less than 50%. His original endorsement of Giuliani was for 1 reason only -- a potential vice-presidency and this is another attempt to pander to the frontrunner.

Hey Rick -- Texans don't like you. There is no way McCain will select someone who is so disliked within his own state. That says something considering he's a Republican in such a Republican state. I am very disappointed with the Republican Party as a whole. There is absolutely no reason why John McCain should even be close to becoming the Republican Nominee. There is a reason he lost his first bid to be President. There is a reason he gets booed when he speaks about his immigration policy at conservative events. There is a reason the New York Times…Arnold Schwarzenegger…and Rudy Giuliani endorsed this man. He is not a true conservative…on military issues yes…but not on much else. Arnold and Rudy are by no means true conservatives…and everyone knows it. I’ve worked in Washington, DC, and it’s very easy to see how things are becoming there. These Senators and Congressman spend years and years forging political alliances with other legislators and form there little circle of buddies. John McCain has been in Washington, DC for so long he has already made his friends…and has also made his enemies. Do we want someone who has been in Washington so long? Someone who will have all his old groupies/sidekicks, lobbyist friends, and enemies just a few blocks down the road from the White House….NO! McCain has had his time in Washington to lead, to provide change, and new ideas…his time is over! I think it’s selfish of him to think providing the same old leadership he has been providing for the last 30 odd years to the American people will create any sort of change. Do we not deserve new ideas, problem solving skills, and leadership? YES WE DO! Senator McCain is robbing the American people by not giving us the new ideas, leadership capabilities, and clean slate that a new face could provide this country. Concerning foreign affairs…Senator McCain has also already made his friends and enemies abroad! Perry apologized to his good friend Mike Huckabee when he endorsed Rudy...and then at a press conference, was plugging Huckabee...which prompted reporters to ask if he was changing his endorsement from Rudy to Huckabee...Perry then corrected himself.

I guess he's comprimising his values and selling out again by endorsing the "front runner". Perry is a disgrace.

I'm still voting for Huckabee on Tuesday.

McCain is running his campaign on the notion that “It’s not what you know, but who you know.” McCain was behind all kinds of dirty politics in Florida and Washington. Is that really who we want in the White House? Romney didn’t start with the negative ads. In fact he didn’t have to use any lies or twisted wording to go against McCain. He used McCain's own words and record. McCain has another political agenda in mind. Have you noticed that McCain says that he will secure the borders and then doesn't go on to say what he will do next? He has every intention to give them amnesty just like he wanted to do with Kennedy. He is surrounding himself with Democrats that he is going to have to repay in political favors. Does anyone notice that when McCain is asked a question, like he was at the debate last night about the economy, that he is not comfortable with that he does the whole name dropping thing? If Americans vote for the three top Senators in this race(McCain, Clinton,and Obama), how is that changing America? By voting for them, you are just opening the White House doors and letting the Senators, that have been there for years, walk right back in. They are the reason America is so messed up in the first place. Why would you send them back? Gov. Huckabee, please get out of the race. McCain is not a conservative like you are. You can’t possibly want liberialism in the white house. If you did, you wouldn’t have run. Do the right thing, just because it is the right thing to do. Get behind somebody who is honest and knows what he’s talking about. Huckabee and Paul are wonderful men, but everyone knows that a vote for them is a vote for McCain. Dave in Denton, get real. Our objective here is not to be as Republican as we possibly can. This is chess. Primary candidates are pieces on a board, and the two kings are the nominees. In the end, in November, there will only be Red versus Blue. So why don't you and all the other Romney/Huckabee types buck up and realize that independents and democrats will NOT vote for a mormon CEO or a preacher who doesn't even know how to spell the word "backbone."

Do I like it that way? Hell no. BUT it's reality. Because Congress will not care who the President is, just what party he (no, not he or she) will belong to.
