In the last few days, McCain has been running an ad showing him as a POW from 1967-1973. The voice behind this ad states that while John McCain was a POW,he was inspired by the Reagan revolution. Later, John McCain's voice is heard stating that he is proud to be a "foot soldier" for the Reagan agenda. There's a little fuzzy something going on here. Ronald Reagan was elected in 1980---seven years after John McCain's return. John McCain was not in Washington until 1983 and that was as a member of the House of Reps. from Arizona. So, what exactly is a "foot soldier" if the man for whom you are soldiering was already in office? What does being a POW have to do with being president? Why after 20+ years, does McCain only boast of his stand on the surge in the Iraqi war. Why isn't he mentioning all of the bills in legislature that have his name attached? I am confused why the American people are falling in line behind this guy. His demeanor on the stage Wednesday evening was anything but presidential. He slouched in his chair, argued even when he was wrong, and again used his "foot soldier" line which just doesn't add up. My question---are the republicans so determined to nominate another old war horse whose time has really come and gone just because it's his turn???? Another this is a John Kerry nomination by the other party! How successful was that concept for the democrats?? I am personally tired of the media helping perpetuate the idea of John McCain being a "winner". I am praying that the true Republicans surprise everyone and pull this out on Tuesday!!

Well, I tried watching MSNBC this morning, but I see Morning Joe continues the Hilary and Bill bashing -- hey Joe, I would like to hear you and Mika discuss the section of Barack's book where he states "he doesn't trust whites" come on you guys can think of something -- taken out of context, at a different time in his life, he was young, he didn't expect to run for President, Bill Clinton made him do it
Oh well, I am going back to CNN until the election is over, I have already made up my mind I am voting for Hilary and Bill -- who are NOT playing the race card.
