In my city/state, absentee ballots were received weeks ago. Being the excited (now I would say bamboozled) dude that I am, I got caught up in the potential of helping my candidate advance in his bid for the party's nomination. Well, after I cast my vote and well before todays primaries he decided to bail out of the race. His reasons were sound. However, his decision to bail cost me my vote.... lesson learned: Wait on the absentee ballots until the LAST MINUTE! Kinda defeats the notion of this voting method but I have to say the old adage holds here: Better late than never (counted!).....

A snapshot of Missouri's turnout

Hye, this is one event where LOSERS alr also WINNERS,even though the FINALIST shal lead to the White House> I am SO PROUD OF OUR VOTERS!!Who ARE the WINNERS! McCain is not a conservative, and in fact, has gone out of his way to stick his thumb in the eyes of those who are. He has sounded at times more like a member of the other party. McCain actually considered leaving the GOP caucus in 2001, and approached John Kerry about being Kerry’s running mate in 2004. McCain also said publicly that Hillary Clinton would make a good president. Given these and many other concerns, a spoonful of sugar does NOT make the medicine go down. I cannot, and will not, vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience.

But what a sad and melancholy decision this is for me and many other conservatives. Should Sen. McCain capture the nomination as many assume, I believe this general election will offer the worst choices for president in my lifetime. I certainly can’t vote for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama based on their virulently anti-family policy positions. If these are the nominees in November, I simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life. These decisions are my personal views and do not represent the organization with which I am affiliated. They do reflect my deeply held convictions about the institution of the family, about moral and spiritual beliefs, and about the welfare of our country.
A snapshot of Missouri's turnout

Obaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

A snapshot of Missouri's turnout

I have to agree that there is a huge amount of media bias in favor of Obama. It is unfortunate you need to turn on FOX Noise to get a fair take on the primary. Dan is right when he mentioned on his show last night that the Washington Media hates Hillary and demonizes her. As a matter of fact l have never heard a positive or even neutral comment concerning Clinton from Matthews, Scarbough, Olberman, etc. On the other hand I have never heard a negative comment on Obama.

A snapshot of Missouri's turnout

Amy, O'Dark Thirty is military jargon for VERY early in the morning. It was coined because we spend so much of our time working during hours most people are still sleeping. Remember, "We do more before 9 o'clock than most people do all day".

A snapshot of Missouri's turnout

People always think there's media bias whenever there's a bad article about someone at the same time there's a good article. Any honest reviewer that goes through the past few months of posts can find Obama supporters calling MSNBC biased against Obama, just as easily as Hillary supporters trying to declare the same. Though there are more Hillary supporters crying over it than anyone else, but when you have 35 years of experience littered with controversy, that's only inevitable.

But then you go to CNN, and people routinely refer to it as the Clinton News Network. But at the same time, every time there's a negative news story, the Clinton fans all erupt and declare it's biased against Hillary.

Bottom line, it's all pretty pathetic to try and act like Hillary OR Obama are perfect, and they both get negative news and positive news from all the media. Obama is a big news story right now. No one expected him to rise from 20-30% down a few months ago to polling even with Hillary. The news is just responding to this. A few months ago, they were just as biased in favor of Hillary, when Obama people kept complaining that the media didn't cover any of his policy proposals when he released them.

And have any of you Clinton fans really stopped to wonder why Obama fans have a growing hatred for Clinton? Maybe it's because they perceive her blatantly false abortion mailers as disgusting examples of politics. Maybe it's because they perceive her blatantly false mailers on Yucca mountain as disgusting politics. Maybe it's because they question why Hillary only seems to cry the day before a big primary contest?

A snapshot of Missouri's turnout

real depressing...
