He is a white, veteran staunch right wing republican who considers Reagan the closest thing to God walking on earth. I just got off the phone with him..... He voted for Obama!?

Florida isn't a barometer. A lot of people voted early (state had early voting) and because of some local issues on the ballot, were involved. Since Billary was inevitable, they voted for Billary.

polls showed that Obama won in Florida among people that made up their minds to vote in the last three days before the election.

Billary is hanging on for very dear life.

And inability to score knockout tonight just makes things even worse for her.

Almost every demographic is lined up against her in pluralities, except for the very old, the post menopausal women and the Latino vote.

As far as Obama's $2,500 "savings" on the average family's health care costs, the "experts" his campaign refers to are newspaper editors(Des Moines, I believe), certainly capable people in their own field, but not in any way health-care experts, as is implied by Obama. It's difficult to believe he couldn't find any real experts in the health care field to back up his claims, but hey, editorials are unbiased, right? I guess you take what you can get.

Hillary Clinton is a follower, not a leader. She followed the crowd who voted to invade Iraq. She followed the crowd who argued for exceptions for torture, then followed them again when the politics of the moment changed. And now she has followed her husband's lead by running for US president just as he did. She'd probably make a good vice-president, as Obama himself observed, but would be a relatively indecisive Commander-in-Chief. Bill naturally knows it, which is why he continually has to shore up her credibility by being a crutch to her by her side. She looks good on TV, and I feel sorry for her because she's a nice enough lady as again Obama himself noted, but those qualities on their own aren't the stuff of presidents. On the other hand, Obama is a leader in the classic mould, a trail-blazer who has had to overcome a formidable array of obstacles in his path to get where he is now, when all the odds were stacked against him. The media likes him for good reason.

Response to Jay: Of course Senator Clinton will squeeze past Senator Obama. The real question is... how much? Senator Clinton has been leading in the polls nationally for a year. However in the last two weeks, Senator Obama has been able to chip away at that once sizeable lead. If he is able to do that in a short few weeks, what can he do with more time on the campaign trail, now that he is viable for votes across race and gender?
