So... in her 7 years in Washington as a Senator has she once supported this in the Senate? Has she brought it up? Has she proposed or supported it in the Senate?

Guess now that she wants those votes she cares about DC. I guess its lucky for DC that she has to work there, otherwise she probably wouldn't have bothered to show up, just like many of the other states where she didn't expect to win. She only cares to show up and listen to the people, if she thinks she can get their votes.

She didn't bother to fight for the rights and voices of the people of Michigan and Florida last year when they set their date and were stripped of their delegates. She figured she didn't need them so they weren't worth fighting for. Only now that she needs them do they matter to her.

She cared about the voices of the Las Vegas strip workers and approved their caucus rules... until they decided to support someone else. Then their voices didn't matter and she wanted them silenced.

She courted South Carolina, till they didn't support her and she high tailed it out of town in the middle of the night, not bothering to thank the people that helped her and voted for her.

Enough of the old Washington ways. Just say NO to Hillary

Candidates -- even dictators -- used rhetoric laden with populist themes to motivate and rally voters when circumstances favor their opponents, whether a political opponent or a state foe.
Voters should not allow themselves to be blinded and deafened by the realities of America and the global community of today. A politician who desperately seeks the presidency signals hunger for power, not a commitment to national service. One who bows to majority voters' wishes for change is one who accepts the realities and cease being a roadblock in the way of voters.
If Hillary Clinton wants to be elected president to serve America -- not to fulfill her political ambitions as the first woman president -- then she has to admit all mistakes, let voters know as muh information that has been released as that of her opponents. Running a secretive campaign does no good to America. s. Clinton may be able to win, but only if she is upfront who answers, not sidestep, critical questions to guide voters' decision making process. She also must stop resorting to divisive political tactics that should belong to 20th century politics. No more partisan infighting i Washington. It takes guts for Hillary to go into D.C. and talk straight up with the voters.
She's done this all throughout the campaign whereas Obama hasn't.

That's why so many flock to his ralleys, because they can't get up close to him. His handlers want him to have that elusive aura about him.

Well, this time it isn't a political figure who's "naked."
But rather, it is the supporters of that political figure who are being conned into believing their new suit of clothes is beautiful.
When in fact, they are butt naked because they haven't been given any "new clothing" by Obama at all.
A lot of them know it and are afraid to admit it. Others have been totally blinded by the free rock concerts, and entertainment that coincide with Obama rallys.
Unfortunately, after all the kiddie-parties are over, the winner of this primary has to take on the G.O.P.'s candidate in November.
We need to do the right thing and nominate Hillary Clinton.
Obama is not electable, in spite of the bill of goods we're being sold.
I hope that there are more mature adults in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania than there are in Whacko-Washington State. We can't afford to have Obama as our party's candidate.
Whoever becomes President is going to affect the lives of all of us. Leading this country isn't like hosting a kiddie-birthday-party in a sports arena. It's serious business for the people of this country.
Obama hasn't convinced me he understands that.

These two turds (Hillary and Obama) were up here in Maine talking about sawmills and how terrible it was that some swamills have closed down. 3 things wrong with this:

1) Neither of them could identify a sawmill from 100 feet away

2) Neither of them cared one whit when the mills were going down (not that they should) but now that they want votes, here they are, in Maine, for the first time in forever, talking about this horrible tragedy.

3) Their only proposed solution to keep future mills from shutting down, as near as I can tell, is to reduce taxes on the workers and increase taxes on the mills.

Yeah, that'll keep those mills up and operating.

Well said. Actually, how the heck can Obama answer thousands of people's questions in such a short time, while Hillary is usually rallying around smaller crowds. And you need evidence to back up your claim of Obama's evusiveness. Just watching him speak and nobody approaching to ask questions is only something a foolish, ignorant voter will try to back up that claim. And if Obama was avoiding questions, he'd be avoiding so many voters. Remember he was taken aback in Idaho when around 14,000 people showed up. Usually people don't have questions to ask -- and Obama does not have to answer -- when he has given speeches to large crowds and much of what you might ask is on the candidates' websites.
Compare that to Hillary. She refuses to be truthful by not releasing what voters want to know: her tax retuns. This is unimportant for me personally, but it should aid voters in making a decision about which president would make a great budget handler. There are a lot of other important questions the Clintons continue to sidestep. That tells us how evasive they have become as much as Bush.

To RUSH and anyone else with the belief that Hillary is struggling just because she is a woman:

A truly honest and competent female candidate would have swept this country with a landslide. This primary would be long over. Perhaps much of the 'dirt' and 'skeletons' in Hillarys closet are unfounded. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt with the Peter Paul lawsuit. There is just too much, however. This country IS DEFINATELY ready for a female President, just not Hillary, I'm sorry to say. What has Obama done to stand out?

Mr. Obama is an exceptional speaker. This alone is an important asset for our President to have. To get laws passed we need someone who can stand up and effectively point out his views and pull people together. Even if you believe in Hillary's ideas she will never gain the support to get them passed into law. The Republican party has long standing animosity against the Clinton Administration. Those voting for Hillary just don't seem to understand this. It's no piece of cake being President. There are very few things the President actually has 'dictatorship' control over.

Pulling people together: Yes, uniting this country. In the last few months, Obama supporters have expanded from coast to coast while Hillary supporters almost appear to be shrinking.

Making the right decisions: No to a senseless war. Beating a dead horse by repeating this? I don't think so. How could anyone take the loss of human life lightly.

I am sorry to be critical here but please everyone, at least study the issues more deeply. Learn how politics works, and understand that Mr. Obama is a great opportunity for us. He can unite us. He can help this become a better nation. His communication skills will help him with foreign affairs as well. Open your hearts. I think the Media Bias is so disturbing in this election. Obama plays the same song as Bush did at the end of his rallies. Fortunately, the media do not get to dictate this election. Let them go to the bus so Senator Clinton can have time to sit with real people and answer their questions with real answers.

I care too much about my country to be blinded by someone who will not directly answer questions from his potential voters and preaches to us all about change. We are not an ignorant electorate and we all know that when Bush is gone, there will most decidedly be change no matter who is in office.

We must look to what is truly the greater good for us all and that cannot be found in words. Actions speak volumes. I fall into the category that the Media seems to think flocks to Obama. The way Senator Clinton talks about universal coverage sounds almost like she is offering free healthcare to all people as a favor. At the end of the day, people will pay who can afford it and people who can't afford it will still pay along with a subsidy. So nothing is free here.

So if someone at the age of 22 or 23 decides to pay her college tuition instead of buying health insurance as a priority, the Clinton plan would mandate a way to take the money from her. She would not be allowed to make that choice about the best way to invest her money in her future. Is that really how government should work? Obama makes it voluntary relying on the notion that if healthcare is affordable and accessible, most people will buy it because it's a good idea. They don't have it now not because government is not forcing them to buy it but they can't afford it. So Obama is not 'leaving' anyone without coverage. He is creating a situation where everyone can afford it. If a 22 year old decides to pay for tuition instead of buying health insurance (which might be the right priority if he is healthy and at his physical prime), Obama's plan allows him to stay on his parents' plan until 25. It's much more practical. The idea of garnishing wage to force people to pay for healthcare they're extremely unlikely to need is not a good one. Government's job is to make it easier and affordable for people to live, but ultimately people are responsible for their own lives. Government can't play nanny or baby sitter for grown-up citizens. If this plan were a style that future programs were built off of, where would it lead? Will Clinton offer mortgages from the federal government, force people to become homeowners and garnish wages for their mortgage payment? Will Hillary force kids to go to college and garnish wage of the parents to pay for the student loan? These are last century ideas. The idea that that the government has to force people to protect their families with healthcare coverage is dangerous.

Anyone can come up with an idea that sounds nice in theory and on paper. But is this something she would be willing to push through Congress to implement based on consensus? I don't think so. Yes, it might be a "democratic idea" but unless Hillary wins with a landslide (and right now v. McCain, polls have her tying -not winning), unless Democrats have a clear majority in house and senate, she cannot impose a democratic idea on the entire nation that's almost half divided. So it's prudent to plan for what can be achieved, what's practical, and what also requires citizens to behave responsibly for their own lives instead of bunch of empty rhetoric about mandates and "universal" coverage.

There you go. None of the choices are really ideal - BUT, we have seen what happens when 1 political party controls Washington. It's a mess. The Dems balanced out Reagan & Bush I. The Reps balanced out Clinton in the 90's. And then there was no balance with W.

The universal health care debate has been cast so simplistically. Billary would "mandate" coverage -- that means she would force people to buy insurance (how, she hasn't fessed up to.) Obama's approach is to make it affordable enough so that almost everyone will choose to have coverage; those who don't choose and end up in the emergency room will then be forced to pay back premiums. But what no one talks about is that "universal" coverage will mean the most basic care. No one owns up to the fact that more complicated/expensive/specialized care will have to be rationed. The country simply can't afford to give a liver transplant to everyone who might benefit from it, or perform open-heart surgery, or deliver chemotherapy treatment to all in need. Who's going to make those rationing decisions??? Why no discussion about that??

Bottom Line:

It looks like you got some vote fraud hankypanky, and selling of votes going on in the democratic caucuses. Obama seems to be doing disproportionately well in the caucuses where it is easier to commit vote fraud, and sell votes. Obama has not been doing as well in the non caucus primary's where you can't cheat the vote as easily.

I smell a pole cat. I smell the Karl Rove vote fraud machine at work. This looks like past presidential elections where most voters leaving the poles said they voted for the other guy. But Bush still won. No wonder Obama thinks the republicans have some good ideas. Apparently a lot of republicans are voting for Obama in the democratic caucuses.

The insurance companies, and medical industry that have been ripping you off, and killing you are determined to keep you, the American people from having good universal health care. So it seems they are supporting Obama. Along with the republican vote fraud machine.

This looks like a great story for a team of aggressive investigative reporters. Or maybe some good documentary film makers like Michael Moore, or Oliver Stone.

If I were the Clinton's, I would focus like a laser bean on what has been going on in the democratic caucuses. No wonder the Republicans like Obama so much. Looks like he's their man in the democratic caucuses.
