Clinton most certainly isn't out of it. She's currently leading in Wisconsin, and let's get through tomorrow's races before we call them. We all should have learned that lesson by now.

I will acknowledge that its looking like Obama has a better chance at the nomination than does Clinton, at this point in time - and as an Obama supporter I'm pretty satisfied with that. But momentum is funny. If Clinton pulls a surprise in the Potomac Primary (note - not Chesapeake Tuesday! lol), then it might start shifting back to her.

Its still a race up for grabs, as indicated by the close delegate counts.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

OBAMAS SPIN IS IN

Explanation for the canceled meeting

Perhaps it got rescheduled because someone is doing background on Obama. Wake up Obama supporters he has not been truthful about his past. Go do some searches and see what your canadate has really done in his life. We all have good and bad so lets see the other side.

Tucker Carlson of MSNBC has called Pastor Wright a total hater and wondered why the ties that bind Obama to Wright have not been given greater scrutiny. Mickey Kaus of Slate has also wondered when the ties between Obama and Wright will receive more criticism, given Wright's seeming bigotry, which is in contrast to the soothing melody of unity that Obama has trumpeted on the campaign trail.

Some in the media have taken notice. The New York Times did have one front-page article on Wright by Jodi Kantor in which Wright was quoted as saying that should more information come to light about himself, "a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell". After the article came out Wright attacked Jodi Kantor, referring to her Jewish heritage in a way that might create discomfort.

This fear is why Pastor Wright was disinvited at the last minute from appearing with Obama when Obama announced his run for the Presidency. Wright admitted in a PBS interview that he understands this distancing from the Obama campaign since "he can't afford the Jewish support to wane or start questioning his allegiance to the Israel"

Wright has been disappeared by the campaign; Obama has replaced him with high profile white ministers who do not preach the racial exclusiveness and racial superiority that is a hallmark of Jeremiah Wright; however, they seem to share an anti-Israel bias.

Fortunately, bloggers and others have started to note the views of Pastor Wright (which also include an unhealthy does of racial exclusiveness, in Tucker Carlson's words) and . Finally these views may be crossing over to major media outlets. Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen published a recent column that criticized the award to Louis Farrakhan of the Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award -- an award that supposedly was granted to a man who "truly epitomized greatness". As Cohen noted, Farrakhan is not only a race-baiter but also an anti-Semite and a promoter of anti-Semitism. He falsely accused Jews of cooperating with Hitler and helping him create the Third Reich, has slandered Jews by his insistence that Jews have played an inordinate role in victimizing African-Americans (he has also called Jews "bloodsuckers"). Cohen questions why Obama has stayed steadfast in his allegiance to Pastor Wright over the years.

Obama has called Wright his spiritual mentor, his moral compass and his sounding board. He was the man who gave Obama the term, "The Audacity of Hope" after all. He was also the man who told Obama that there are more black men in prison then in colleges -- a statement that Obama parroted until he was told that it was false. What other "facts" has Wright taught Obama? Has he taught Obama to blame 9/11 on America because of our foreign policy?

The above is from an article by Ed Lasky and can be viewed at:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/01/barack_obama_and_israel.html

MSNBC has not covered much of his history as they prefer to just act like he is a gift from God. I for one wonder why there is never anything not pro Obama and they just seem to thrive on bashing the Clintons. They know about his history and choose not to tell anything real about him. Remember people that MSNBC is really republican donimated and they promoted Bush so what does that say about them? They really want Obama so they can get McCain elected to office.
Explanation for the canceled meeting

Some of you are hilarious! If Edwards was going to endorse Hillary, he'd have done that and there would be no meeting. There's no reason for Obama to meet w/ Edwards AFTER the endorsement! Geez!

Do you Clinton people really expect to get Edwards' endorsement? I'd be stunned to see it happen. She is the status quo that he's been railing against for years. She has taken tens of millions of $$$ from lobbyists. He's been railing against that as well.

Maybe she's so desperate that she'll promise him the VP slot to get the endorsement but, short of that, I'd be surprised if it happened. He may endorse no one but I can't imagine he'll endorse Hillary w/o the promise of a VP slot or high level cabinet position.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

I Told You It Was Scheduling

Obama Events

Feb 11 Stand for Change Rally with Barack Obama
in College Park, MD

Feb 11 Stand for Change Rally with Barack Obama
in Baltimore, MD

Feb 12 Stand for Change Rally with Barack Obama
in Madison, WI
Explanation for the canceled meeting

I'll take Obama at his word. Let's assume we nominate Hillary Clinton and she wins the Presidency. Your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will look at the history books and wonder what we were thinking, (Bush - Clinton - Bush - Clinton). Like so many 30 something Americans, I have never been able to vote in a Presedential Election without a Clinton or Bush on one of the ballots. It's getting to be re-god-damn-diculous. How can you say you stand for a government that represents the will of it's people in a form of democracy envisioned by the likes of Thomas Jefferson and John Locke, when we are treating it like a feudalistic monarchy. This is not the intention of democracy and for that alone we should vote for someone, anyone new. I like the Clinton's, I really do, but this is not how we are supposed to do things in this country, and they had their turn. We need to take our chances with the future.

We are to blame for the polarization of our politics and the corruption of our politicians, not the government or the people we elect. It is our fault for not being good stewards of the power our Constitution has afforded us as a people.

I like Barak, I admit, it, but not just because he inspires me, but because I know he can win and I don't believe Hillary can. I think the republican machine has ten file cabinets full of dirt on Hillary and Bill, and maybe a drawer or two on Barak.

Plus, I want Barak to win because at least there is a chance, no matter how small, that he might be one of the few politicians who really does mean what he says. With Bill and Hillary we've been there and done that.

But the number one reason to vote for Barak, is to restore the people's faith in our ability to be the good stewards of democracy that is required of us as citizens. And what Barak says is true, 'We are the change we have been waiting for". Things won't change unless we make it change. First things first, let's get a new family in the whitehouse.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

Edwards is becoming more and more irrelevant. If anything he should have endorsed Obama prior to Feb. 5th. Many Edwards former supporters are now supporting Obama. If Edwards endorses Hillary, all that talk about corporate-interest ruling Washington, Hillary being the agent of "status-quo", and Hillary being a double-talker would have meant nothing. Edwards would have betrayed many of the ideas he pushed during his campaign which would damage his creditability.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

Johnson from LA THat tally is LIFETIME before we ever heard of obama so there

Explanation for the canceled meeting

It is so bogus to say Obama does not trash talk hillary. It helps to actually read them. If there is a positive post concerning Hillary Clinton, it is usually 2 lines that she got an endorsement or won which state and if it is longer than that, they always tack on some nasty or embarassing little tidbit trying to diminish the good.
MSNBC used to be my favorite news channel as they were fairly balanced. Their so obviously slanted coverage of this race has sent me more and more to CNN for at least a little more balanced reporting. The media has been in love with Obama since he started because they wanted this race interesting and it's all about ratings, isn't it. I don't think they care that they're actually messing with our lives. They don't care that some of us out here truly need that universal health care, or that the economy is tanking. They have nice cushy jobs, they'd just rather see how much power they have in getting this guy elected.
Who cares how inexperienced he is, or that he obviously has no real in-depth knowledge or plans that are ready to be put forth (that's not just an opinion, that's fact by experts examining his "plans" and reporting on their lack of detail and workable solutions).
Who cares that he has no real national security experience when we're smack in the middle of one of the most dangerous times in our history with more countries turned against us than for us, and countries like Pakistan in big trouble that could lead to huge trouble?
I CARE.
Wake up people. I don't care if other people have had the same lack of experience before being elected president...what we need now is someone confident and strong on all the issues, with an in-depth knowledge and detailed plans in every area. That, is Hillary Clinton. Even the Republicans in the senate have praised her and admitted she is one of the most focused and hardest working senators there is. She has proven her ability to work "across the isle" where Obama can only claim he will. Talk is nice, but we need action, people and soon.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

JOHN KERRY OR FAT MAN KENNEDY ALREADY ARE OBAMAS RUNNIG MATE

Explanation for the canceled meeting

J. Yeah, only if you thought so. Only if you are a whiner. I have seen so much hateful posts that MSNBC is allowing, all targeting Obama. A frend of mine tells me that she tried to post some of her views on Hillary, but these comments were blocked.
Even for someone calling Obama antichrist to be allowed to post. Some of my own anti-Hillary comments are being blocked.
In fact, the NY Times is the mag that just endorsed Hillary but is reporting much of the negative coverage on Hillary. MSNBC had to link articles to the NY Times isntead of doing their own reporting on Hillary. They don't even talk about all the corrupt men in Hillary's campaign.
So, I am deeply troubleed by te perceived anti Hillary bias. Sure some dumb journalists went beyond what MSNBC would have done, lashing out at Chelesea. Remember it is the Hillary Clinton campaign that is aggressive seeking to have the media report on some of the happenings, while they certainly don't like soe of what MSNBC has to say.
So crybabies, put on your pacifiers and bibs. Grow up! Wise up! Do fact checking before you throw in baseless accusations and meaningless anti-Obama or anti-Hillary posts. you simply cannot try to brainwash us -- we are not too dumb to buy your baseless arguments.
Explanation for the canceled meeting

Tahnk you Mr. President(Barack Obama), 2009 for having CommonSense not to go into a burning Fire!!!! You have the inside story on everyone's motives and feelings. I admit I am 100% for Obama, I am hopeful for something new and better. Am I right? MAYBE!! MAYBE NOT! I just want our country to be one nation again. I used to be very patriotic. My 30 year old kids have never seen patriotism. I want them to be "Proud to be an American". Just reading the spiteful posts on this page makes me cringe. Is this what a proud American is like? If "WE THE PEOPLE" are so full of hate how can we ever unite behind our new commander in chief? If Hillary gets elected I will ask, what can I do for my country. If Obama gets elected I will ask what can I do for my country. I personally would hate seeing a republican in office because I can only envision more of the same... but I'm not a psychic, maybe McCain is the right man for the job... what can I do for my country? Mud slinging is not how we will fix our problems. You don't want the candidates slinging mud at each other, you don't want the media slinging mud at your favorite candidate, but you sling it hard and fast at the candidate you don't support and at the people who support that candidate. How many times have you seen a simple statement praising one candidate, not even at the detriment of the other and WHAM mud gets thrown in their face. They are called stupid or incompetent or a myriad other names. We are the problem. We were the United States of America. We are free to have our own opinions without being dragged through the dirt for those opinions. Those of you who are so boldly taking your stands in calling others stupid, remember, you are one person, and thousands of people are against you. Who do you think you are to be so judgmental to believe that you are smarter than half the democratic party? (It is a split down the middle right now). Maybe if you are so smart, you should be the one running for president and see how it feels to give everything you've got for what you believe in only to be trashed and made fun of. What a wonderful country we live in. What a hard job the new president will have in bringing us all together when this is the way WE act.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

In my opinion,Edwards would take VP in a heartbeat. They lost the house and senate and then managed to lose the Presidency to DUBYA. Think about that for a second, thats how low we had sunk...losing to an embarrassment like DUBYA.

So now that we're finally back on top, ready to thrive and take control after 8 miserable years, people want to GO BACK to the Clintons and suffer the SAME fate we experienced the last time a Clinton was in charge.

Yes it would be better if Obama had a bit more experience. Not that he's not ready now. He absolutely is and is just as ready as Hillary (if not more-so, evidenced by the operation of the two candidate's respective campaigns). And her time as First Lady should count for as much as the delegates in Michigan & Florida; NOTHING.

Hillary supporters hate on Obama because he hasn't spent his entire life in Washington or as a politician. As tho its a bad thing he's experienced life OUTSIDE politics, as tho "experience" in D.C. is the ONLY thing that counts. Please.

It's a shame Gore decided not to run. A Gore-Obama ticked would have locked up the White House through 2024. Fact. (and yes Gore is the guy who lost to bush, but lets not pretend now is comparable to then. Gore has turned into a superstar, whereas 8 years ago he was the boring incumbent. Gore could have and would have been elected President if he had wanted it)

So yah, in a Perfect World, Obama is Gore's VP, getting ready to take over in 2016. But it didn't work out that way, which might be the way things were intended to work out, because Obama is precisely what this country needs at this moment in its history.

On the other hand, America needs another Clinton like it needs another Bush.

IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON.

Explanation for the canceled meeting

Young voters beware...when reality sets in, Obama's rhetoric will not be sufficient to get the job done...the first to abandon him will be those younger voters whose passion for change has led them to believe the political system in this country will be reconstructed by a messianic leader...there is merit in lobbying for a cause or a position and politics includes the opportunity for those who support and those who oppose an issue to attempt to influence those who legislate. Does this process encourage criminal behavior of both those who seek to influence and those who profit from it? Of course, it does! But we can deal with this behavior and, in this country, we have a pretty good record of doing just that...
So be warry of promises to bring about CHANGE so dramatic that we benefit a'la Obama. If that is where you choose to place your confidence, be ready for an extended period of disappointment and, if you are new to this complex "political system", don't give up on it, learn from it, don't abandon it...learn to "make lemonade"...and don't forget..."if something looks too good to be true, it usually is"..

Explanation for the canceled meeting

Edwards is nothing more than an ambulance chasing scum bag who only knows how to settle out of court for the highest bid. His entire campaign was designed with only him in mind. If I were Obama I'd offer him nothing. The value of his endorsement was at it's highest only before super tuesday, now it's worthless because his supporters have already made their choice. If he now supports HRC, he'll be shown for the fraud he is. Either way, Obama already has what he would probably have gotten with the endorsement, so why pay now??? He deserves nada!!

Explanation for the canceled meeting

J. We did not like several of the issues Edwards championed. If he endorses Obama before the NC Primary,,,we will never forgive him and he can't ask us for a dime.He needs to wait until we in NC have a chance to vote. This election is just getting started. We Hillary supporters want our turn. The yuppies who go to the caucuses should not have so much power. It is great that an Afican-American is running so well, but as a woman....we have waited a long time for our turn too.
