John Glenn is a wise man. Did anybody see the focus group last night where they asked all of the Obama supporters to name on thing Obama had accomplished in his time at the state or US senate? Not one Obama supporter could name one accomplishment.

Winston Churchill once asked; "what is the greatest argument against democracy"? He answered by saying; " a converstion with the average citizen."

Why are these people voting for Obama? He has little accomplishments and no substance with his rhetoric. It is mind boggling.

I agree, Clinton's experience should be a deciding factor in anyone's decision, and Mr. Glenn is absolutely correct in pointing out Mrs. Clinton's experience. If we were to consider these Democratic primaries and caucuses to be the functional equivalent of a job interview for a CEO position, would we be seriously considering a regional VP or general manager, or would we be seriously looking at a charming upstart from the mailroom? Rhetoric is just that - only words, and I really hope more people will begin to see this experience factor as somewhat important. After all, aren't we handing off a very challenging set of national issues to contend with? Do we want a novice attempting to navigate the war in Iraq or an economy quite possibly headed for recession? Give me experience over rhetoric ANY DAY!

The Presidency is too important to think that "on the job training" works. Witness George W. Bush who ignored all the intel that was warning of an Al Qaeda attack coming in mid-2001... and who sat like an idiot in a school classroom in Florida after hearing that the US was under attack. Amazing that we might elect a president that - by his own supporters admission - hasn't accomplished a thing they can remember(see focus group last evening on Fox)since being in the senate. Do these same people think his inspirational rhetoric is going to get the Rupublicans to all of a sudden abandom their position(s) on the issues, or the leaders of world nations to all of a sudden jump at the chance to support the US war effort, thus allowing out troups to come home? I am so disgusted that the much of the media is driving his election efforts with favorable comment while at the same time ripping a woman whose invested most of her adult life trying to accomplish something for others, albeit i'll admit not always successfully. Nonetheless she's tried where others have simply lived in congress collecting a paycheck, enjoying fine dinners, etc. and doing NOTHING.
