John McCain also had to take a loan out to fund his campaign just a few short weeks ago, so what Clinton did was not off. Even Romney was using his own money. YES, Hillary's campaign manager spends far more than she should have betting Super Tuesday would be the end, she was wrong and has been fired. Hillary is now raising $1 million a day and the money troubles are fading. What Hillary did not count on is the media giving a free pass to Obama to say whatever he wanted without any questions and the public going for a great public speaker who has no experience for President when she is clearly the better choice at this time of crisis. My hope is she takes Wisconsin (or comes close) and then takes Texas, Ohio and PA as it seems she will to finally put thing in order. Obama will be an excellent VICE PRESIDENT and with Hillary's experience and his passionate speeches they will wipe our McCain easily.
Ryan Healey, Central, CT (Sent Monday, February 18, 2008 12:53 PM)

I just thought that this was a really good post and MSNBC gives it a chance.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Hillary is full of deciet, lies and plagerism. She recently said "if we can track people who come into a Blockbuster video store then we should be able to track people who come into the country" (this is a paraphrase). Funny thing, it is the exact same thing John Edwards said in a debate last year. Clinton is a hypocrit and her supporters are brainwashed lemmings. BTW, ARG poll on Feb 15-16 showed Clinton 49% and Obama 43%. Another ARG poll on Feb 17-18 showed Obama 52% and Clinton 42%. In two days, Obama gained 9 points and Clinton lost 7 points.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Looks like all clinton monitors on to day....Yes we can and the polls indicate Obama and if you cant spell it here it is again Obama...not the old politcis but new.......Without tears.....

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

WHY on earth did "words-gate" get a day and a half of coverage??? People, is this how we want to win? The first several comments on this page are mind-boggling to me. I know it's tempting to let passion for your candidate turn into hatred for the other, especially if your candidate has been losing lately, but I would strongly suggest that the best way to win this primary race, to win the general election in November, and generally to be able to look at yourself in the mirror every morning is to take the HIGH ROAD. Keep it focused on issues and process. Keep the insults and low-blows out of it. The candidates have been doing a FAIRLY decent job of that. Why can't we on this board? Universal healthcare? yes, and furthermore both of them get a "B" for their plans from the National Physicians Alliance (just google it). Reduce dependence on foreign oil by pushing domestic "green" economy, which will create more jobs? yes again, for both.

Where in any of this suggests that voting for Obama is akin to "following a guy off a cliff?" And where in any of this is Clinton lying, scheming or out of touch?

With these two so close on the issues, the real difference lies in the Democratic platform vs. the Republican, which will only matter after all this is settled. Ask yourself realistically who has a better chance vs. John McCain. Obama, who can draw across party lines and has proven he can draw thousands, if not millions of new, YOUNG voters who energize the electorate? Or Clinton, who pretty much HAS to win by relying on superdelegates and engaging in backroom arm-twisting and wheeling and dealing?

You think she's going to look good to all the Obama voters after that? She'll be a big, fat, ugly target for a Republican party whose voters will turn out in greater force just to make sure she doesn't get close to the White House. And meanwhile she'll have stabbed her own Democratic party's growing idealism right through the heart, winning over voters by relying on people's fears and uncertainties.

Predictions, NUMBERS, on Wisconsin: http://www.nationalscold.com

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Tim Matthews-

How can you report "early results just in" showing Obama ahead at 9:45 a.m.?? He has a 20-year record of public service compared to Senator Clinton’s record of 32 years. Senator Clinton also served as an experienced assistant to President Clinton in the Whitehouse for eight years. It can be said that Senator Clinton is running on the “Hope and Change with Experience” message. We all have “Hope” for our future and want “Change” for the better for the current political and economy system. Senator Obama is only a junior senator aspiring to the highest office in the country. Senator Obama is part of the system just like other candidates. Senator Obama has also been supported by lobbyists and has had a political machine just like his opponents. He is trying to portray himself as a uniter but he attacked Senator Clinton first in a debate by bringing up the charge that she was working on the Board of Wal-Mart while he was doing public service. After wooing his supporters with the “Hope and Change” message, Senator Obama is now interjecting a reality check by saying that he knows how hard it is to change the system as if to prepare for failure to change it. Senator Obama is a veteran politician who tells his supporters what they want to hear: the same charge he levels at his opponents. In a speech in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on February 16, 2008, Senator Obama said that “change only comes from below” and that “change does not come from above.” If so, what he is running for the highest office in the country for?
First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Considering The Clinton's were mentioned yesterday on their little 13 point economic plan, did she fail to mention that a lot of her economic plans were originally found in John Edward's campaign? They had just better keep silent about Obama and his borrowing, Hillary does quite a bit of "borrowing" herself.

The Clinton's talking about NAFTA being evil when it was the hubby that signed the thing away. If Hillary would be woman enough, she should come out and blast her husband for signing the deal. But as we all know, you never bite the hand that feeds you....

By the way Hillary.....
You stated that you gave Norman Hsu's money to charity......
Can you please state the Charity it went to?
Or were you lying like everything else you have said in your campaign so far?.....

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Obama is clearly going to win Wisconsin and make Hillary sweat in Texas and Ohio. It's obvious that the only move Hillary has left is to nit-pick every word Obama uses. That's the only strategy she has left, and it's not a winning strategy. The voters will see through this. And regarding Michelle Obama's comments about this being the first time she's been proud of her country, look this is America, she can say what she pleases. I myself, for the first time in years, am proud of my country. Both Barack and Michelle impress the hell out of me and I think this is what our country needs. YES WE CAN!!!!!!

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

What is the early reports from WI...anyone there know?

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Early Word from Green Bay, WI. Based on the information available to her at the time, Senator Clinton decided on a reasoned judgment (her own words) and voted to authorize the president to use military force as the last resort against Iraq after exhausting all diplomacy means and after allowing UN inspectors to do their jobs in Iraq. The whole country was misled by Mr. Bush and his administration anyway with dubious intelligence. Senator Obama did not vote on this issue because he was not in the Senate then and later claimed that he was not sure how he would have voted on it. However, he now likes to say that he was right about the war without adding that he was right about it as an Illinois legislator, not as a US senator who had to vote on the issue. The war has not been going well for the US because of poor post-invasion planning by Donald Rumsfeld and his staff anyway. As far as voting record on the war goes as a US senator, Senator Obama voted like Senator Clinton on continuing to fund the war. Senator Obama is a veteran politician with all the complicated political trappings. Please listen to him carefully and watch out after you are swept over your feet by his charisma and sweet talk!

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Back at the beginning of the month, I had no preference between Clinton and Obama, and so voted in the GOP primary instead. Wonder how they're doing in the Senate, who is actually doing the work while busy campaigning. McCain is out 54% of the time, Obama 48% of the time, Hilary 28%. So who is truly doing the work?

She could have made a run for the Presidency during her first term as a Senator. Pretty much like what freshman Obama is doing now. But she choose to continue to serve the people of New York. Run for re election and won her seat.

People please take a closer look who truly has the best interest of the country at heart rather than selfish ambition. Under the assumption that almost any person that normally votes Republican hates Hillary Clinton, any win by Hillary today must include enough Democrats and Independents to overcome any inclination by Republicans to vote for Obama in the Democratic Presidential Preference Primary.

It should be noted that today is really Wisconsin's primary election for non-partisan offices (i.e., county supervisors, State Supreme Court Justices, etc.). The general election for those offices is in April. The Democratic and Republican Presidential Preference Primaries (historically held in April) are add-ons to this year's primary election to move it earlier in the Presidential selection process.

Turnout will be higher than normal for a February primary because of the presidential preference primary, and it will be interesting to us in Wisconsin to see whether it effects non-partisan primary contests.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Embrace your inner Obama....vote for hope, change and a new world of politics today.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Lewinskys boyfriends wife for president!

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

J. If all of you voter were so smarte we wouldn't have had Bush in office for eight year. If we want anything new and have a chance to do better as American then we can't go with that same good old boy ways. Mrs Clinton would be just that, because of her husband and so would McCain. We as a people didn't understand that vote dosen't mean a thing because if it did again we wouldn't have had Bush in the frist time. So let us as a people take back our courtry and make it the great place to live. We can start with our familys and namely our kids. That should be our mean point to start.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Plagiarism (please note the spelling)refers to the unattributed use of another's language or research in a work of scholarship. She certainly harkens back to the old time politician who's only job is to carve up the opponent rather than present a case for themselves. Actually Hillary has no real reason for her candidacy other than being a woman. As a woman, I think that would be historic. But it's not enough, especially with the type of politics she brings to the table. Obama is right when he says that promising the world as Hillary does, even as she implies that her health care is free (when universal mandated health care only means every American will have to find the money to pay for it or be fined or have their wages garnished) cannot bring about the changes everyone wants. In fact, she tried before with her health care plan and so alienated fellow Democrats and all the Republicans that we made no movement in providing affordable health care in over 10 years. And people died during this time who didn't have health care. The point is that you have to work with others, not demonize them, in order to get things done. Hillary can't do that and hasn't done that in the Senate. In 6 years she has renamed post offices and federal buidings. Look at her accomplishments, not her memberships in clubs. For someone who says she's not about inspiration, who is a "doer", then describe something meaningful that she has done?

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Again, typical lazy voters. If you actually look at what Michelle Obama said without just taking what the news took out of context you would know that she was speaking about how many people are voting and that this is truly a great election - not just about Obama. Also, if you did your research you would know that Bill's Jesse Jackson comment was actually within the context of the questioning. It just worked for the media to edit out the part that was important so it would sound racial.

For once, in my adult life (14 legal years), I am proud to be an American. Do we really want to have it be 24 (or lord forbid 28?!?) ? That's an entire generation (MY GENERATION) raised primarily by only 2 families in power - much like the kings and queens of old. What will the history books say... "The Bush-Clinton Power Years" Or worse yet "The Bush-Clinton Kingdom?!?"

Yeah.. let's think about this. VOTE OBAMA - and prove that we do have other options out there. Let's not fall into the same hole or make it 24/28 years of only 2 very rich (and might I add disconnected) families leading this nation.

In my Opinion, Obama is the only one that is actually presenting a reasonable platform for America - with NO serious extremes. Yes, he is a politician, yes, he is rich. However, he's also educated, well spoken (Clinton has also plagerized from him though it didn't inspire a day and a half of coverage - make sure you have your facts straight), and able to heal many of this country's wounds that have been around since the Civil War. He is the American Dream. He IS the Best Choice.

Thus I say... It is TIME FOR A CHANGE in Leadership. AND we, the YOUTH have to help make it happen.

Our Parents may be Afraid, our Grandparents may just want to return to the conservative status quo. But we, the Youth know - this Nation Needs a different group of leaders. We NEED Leaders who REFLECT OUR BELIEFS (of total equality) , REFLECT OUR POPULATION (not only the whites - but all races and genders), and RESPECT "normal" AMERICANS (not just the rich or the lobbyists).

I see Barak Obama doing all of these things. But I can't do it alone.

And so, if for no other reason - than to say hey, let's end the 2 family power play - I ask you to think seriously, examine your heart, and then

ELECT Barak Obama in 2008!

"We Are the Change We Have Been Waiting For." ~Barak Obama Feb. 5, 2008

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

the clintons are going down the greek without a paddale oooops

go OBAMA 08 defeat nafta promoter flip flopper one day words dont matter and next day attack you on using friend words (nice trap) from obama and by the way words do matter clintons

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

As a Republican who was afraid our party would nominate a phoney like Mitt Romney, I sympathize with the Clinton supporters. If I were in your shoes I would hate the thought of all the university types with no real world experience threatening to nominate a cult figure like Obama. As a Republican I like McCain's chances against either Democrat but as an American I shutter to think of an Obama presidency.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

ok, I only read a few of the posts, but please people, before posting, learn to spell that of which you speak. If it is, then she and McCain have both concluded that Obama IS the Democrat's candidate for the Presidency of the United States. Walker, Memphis, TN

Some important differences between Obama & Clinton.

For those of you who have a keen interest in women’s health & civil rights issues I direct you to the changed support from Clinton to Obama by such luminaries & organizations like Planned Parenthood, NARAL & Kate Michelman.

Military commissions: While Iraq and other military issues have gotten plenty of air time in Democratic debates, there may be a difference between Clinton and Obama on an issue of great concern to many Democrats: President Bush’s policies of restricting court review of military hearings, using torture-obtained evidence and violating Geneva Convention rules on prisoner treatment. No Democratic candidate has supported Bush on these issues, but only Obama, not Clinton, is a co-sponsor of Sen. Chris Dodd’s “Restoring the Constitution Act,” which would reverse these Bush policies. Clinton supports legislation restoring the court review (habeas corpus) that Bush has undercut, but she has not signed on to Dodd’s more aggressive bill.

Health care: The Democratic primary has seen much debate about requiring individuals to buy health insurance and about subsidizing insurance costs, but on one important insurance issue, Obama and Clinton do seem to differ. For decades, insurance companies have been exempt from antitrust laws, which means that unlike other businesses, they can collude to set prices, divide up territory in which they agree not to compete, etc. About one-fifth of Senate Democrats, including Obama but not Clinton, have co-sponsored legislation to repeal this antitrust exemption for malpractice insurance companies, which — if insurers are indeed colluding to keep doctors’ rates high — could lower health care costs.

Environment: As with other issues, there is not a huge difference between Clinton and Obama, but a distinction on one controversial issue explains Obama’s better League of Conservation Voters ratings: In 2006, Obama scored 100 percent to Clinton’s 71 percent; for their entire Senate careers, Obama is at 97.5 percent compared with Clinton’s 87.7 percent. Over several years, Clinton consistently has supported, and Obama has opposed, legislation to expand offshore oil drilling.

Have a great day and vote for the real experience in the race for President.

Obama '08
First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

This is in response to the comments made by Angel from Spring, TX. Obama is humble enough to compare himself to JFK. It was Caroline, the daughter of JFK, who compared Obama to her father. Caroline stated that Obama is like her father for bringing hope and inspiration to the American people. I am a Asian-American and I am inspired by Obama's candidacy.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

To all the people who think Obama is a great orator, I disagree. If he is asked a question, He quite often stutters and stammers and ahs before he comes out with an answer. Also, if people would remember history in 1976 when Carter was the man for change. He like Obama is a very nice man but to get things done in Washington, you can't be so naive. You have to have someone who is able to stand up and fight for what they believe in and can also take the heat. Obama, as the newly dubbed "media darling", is beyond reproach. If she criticizes his record (and it is, in turns, dismal or distressing), she's suddenly castigated by the pundits for "dirty politicking" (you listening, Chris Matthews? Turn in your journalistic credentials, you have NO claim to being a journalist). If she points out that his immaculate image doesn't always comport with his past behaviors and associations, she's accused of "desperation". 80% of blacks are voting for Obama (gee, wonder why), but Hillary is the one who has to tiptoe around charges of using "the race card". Let's face it, compared to Hillary's run against Obama, Mike Huckabee would have it easier in the Republican primaries were he running against Jesus Christ (esp. as the majority of Huckabee's supporters would think Jesus was "not conservative enough" - sorry that I can't ask Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to turn in their journalistic credentials because they have none). Mind you, Bill Clinton didn't have any problems using the media's prejudices and biases when they favored him, but calling this "payback" doesn't change the fact that the people of this country (esp. the Democrats) are being deprived of their vote, NOT by "machine Democrats" disenfranchising the voters of Harlem, but by the mass media's refusal to allow Sen. Clinton to even engage her opponent. IF Obama is all that is claimed for him by his buddies at NBC and their compatriots, let's find out. If he's not, then we'd better find out before he becomes President. Back off, media, and let the candidates campaign. It's what they are supposed to do. Your job is to report the results, not to declare the "immaculate conception".

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I GOT THE WHY SHOULD I VOTE FOR BILLARY BLUES?
WHY SHOULD I VOTE THE BILLARY A THIRD TERM BLUES?

THE BILLARY SOLUTIONS DON'T WORK-
THE BILLARY SOLUTIONS CAUSE HURT-
(8 Billary Years: No Health Care Plan; DEMS lost Congress; NAFTA is still destroying American Jobs)

I GOT THE WHY SHOULD I VOTE THE BILLARY A THIRD TERM BLUES?
I GOT THE WHY SHOULD I VOTE FOR BILLARY BLUES?

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I didn't expect the political dinosaurs to go quietly into the night. I expect them to fall loud and hard spewing devisive rethoric shouting "but he's a fraud!" The bottom line is, Americans of all ethnicities really like each other! We have more things in common than we do that divide us. Old school politicians don't even know what hit them. Without local lies and chaos there can't be rich white guy peace. Like Michelle Obama said, "this is the first time in MY adult life I've been proud of this country"

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I would really like to know if any of you Obama haters have actually researched the records of the 2 democratic candidates for president . Senator Clinton has a grand total of less than 30 bills which she has introduced to the senate ( or co-sponsored ) while Senator Obama has over 300 such peices of work . Why would this be significant to us as the voting public . The significance is that while Hillary sat back congradulating schools for winning championships , Mr. Obama was Working for Change thur the political system . I challange ALL eligible voters to research the records of these two candidates and make an informed decision today . The press , radio and television won't tell us the bottom line . They want controversy to boost ratings . Be forward thinking before OUR ass is underwater while the Rich Republicans are swimming upstream .

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Americians should not make another mistake, like they did with Bush. Obama stated that after going up against the Clinton's he feels he's proven he can overcome anything. I don't think I've ever heard anything more naive in my life. The Clinton's have been tame in their dirty campaigning compared to the venom that will ooze from McCain and Co. come election time. If Obama thinks he's seen the worst of it, he is in for a rude awakening. Many want to take the high road, but I think the past 2 elections have more than proven that that strategy does not work. It takes dirty to beat dirty. Obama will never defeat McCain. Nominating him is exactly what the Republicans are praying for. Their reasons for crossing don't necessarily indicate support. Perhaps he is the person they want McCain to run against. Perhaps, seeing as how the Republican primary is essentially over, they want to cast a meaningful ballot. Or, perhaps, they just want to create some mischief and throw the pollsters and media mavens off their game. It is unwise to assume primary crossovers will also be presidential election crossovers. Unlike some Democrats, Republican hens have always come home to roost in presidential elections.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I was a Hillary fan until I realized that she isn't able to run a campaign, has no insight into the future since she didn't plan anything after Super Tuesday, and she has changed her message at least 3 times - -also way too detailed - -

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Hillary Clinton is Texas Toast. Why the heck would the Clinton's ever depend on Texans to vote for them is beyond me!

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Come on, it doesn't matter who people vote for it whole thing has been decided by a handful of weathly families in a Washington backroom.

Hillary will win the Democratic Nomination, then lose the Presidential Election.

America needs wake up, the whole election process is just one big media scripted show.
First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Lest we forget, Hillary voted FOR the war! Then tried to cover it and say she thought she was voting for continued inspections, come on(last Clinton/Obama debate)! How do you confuse the two? She has never taken responsibility for that vote and until she does I will not support her. I can't understand why that is so overlooked by so many people. I see her as politics as usual and Obama is the only candidate who stands for positive change in America! She told both Bill Bradley and Patrick Moynihan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would 'demonize' anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn't even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.)

- Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations, Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood, were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. She then chose Janet Reno. Janet Reno has since been described by Bill himself as 'my worst mistake.'

- Hillary recommended Lani Guanie r for head of the Civil Rights Commission. When Guanier's radical views became known, her name had to be withdrawn.

- Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy for positions in the Justice Department, White House staff, and the Treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

- Hillary also recommended a close friend of the Clintons, Craig Livingstone, for the position of director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of up to 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (“Filegate”) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, both Hillary and her husband denied knowing him. FBI agent Dennis Sculimbrene confirmed in a
Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in 1996, both the drug use and Hillary's involvement in hiring Livingstone. After that, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office, after serving seven presidents for over thirty years.

- In order to open “slots” in the White House for her friends the
Thomasons (to whom millions of dollars in travel contracts could be awarded), Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the FBI for 'gross mismanagement' and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale, was charged with a crime - mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.

- Another of Hillary's assumed duties was directing the 'bimbo eruption squad' and scandal defense:

---- She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit.

---- She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, S t arr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

---- Then they had to settle with Paula Jones after all.

---- And Bill lost his law license for lying to the grand jury

---- And Bill was impeached by the House.

---- And Hillary almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice (she avoided it mostly because she repeated, 'I do not recall,' 'I have no recollection,' and 'I don't know' 56 times under oath).

- Hillary wrote 'It Takes a Village,' demonstrating her Socialist viewpoint.

- Hillary decided to seek election to the Senate in a state she had never lived in. Her husband pardoned FALN terrorists in order to get Latino support and the New Square Hassidim to get Jewish support. Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother's clients, for a small fee, to get financial support.

- Then Hillary left the White House, bu t later had to return $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork she had stolen.

- In the campaign for the Senate, Hillary played the 'woman card' by portraying her opponent (Lazio) as a bully picking on her.

- Hillary's husband further protected her by asking the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the White House, including much of Hillary's correspondence and her calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.)

- As the junior Senator from New York, Hillary has passed no major legislation. She has deferred to the senior Senator (Schumer) to tend to the needs of New Yorkers, even on the hot issue of medical problems of workers involved in the cleanup of Ground Zero after 9/11.

- Hillary's one notable vote; supporting the plan to invade Iraq, she has since disavowed.

Quite a resume’. Sounds more like an organi ze d crime family’s

rap sheet.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I know there is a lot of trash-talking going on right now. I really liked Bill, before he started defending his wife. I don't see Obama explaing what his wife meant, so why does Bill? The problem for the Clintons is that Obama gives people a chance to think we matter and then if we matter, then our representatives need to listen to us and that isn't good for the typical politian because we don't have any perks to give them, only our trust that they will listen to us and respond to what we the people want our government to be. I personally want a new face in the White House. I want someone who can speak well and not embarrass us. I want someone who can capture the attention of our enemies with good communication skills instead of blood and weapons. I think Obama has that and if anyonw says words don't matter, look at the mess we are in all over the world because we didn't feel that they did matter. Vote your heart but please remember that who we choose doesn't just have an impact on the good old USA, it also represents the impact on the world. Last I heard, a majority of the European Nations and African Nations want to see Obama in the White House. And these are our allies. Only Great Britain wants a Clinton. Not GB doesn't matter but we are one world and I think it's time for a fresh start.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Hillary is one of the most corrupt and extensive liars our society has ever seen in the spotlight.

Vote Obama and let Karma kick the Clintons.... or, Vote Hillary so I can watch her get retreaded through the mud of her scandals as McCain wins

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I would suggest that all of you who are making these disgusting and humorously misspelled personal attacks take a trip to the Lincoln library in Springfield, Illinois and stand in an exhibit called the "Hall of Whispers". Maybe you'll get a perspective on how ridiculous and embarrassing you all sound.

By all means, continue your rants but with every attack you destroy our chances for a better country by supporting such campaign tactics.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Obama, Hollywood and the Media have given this election to the Republicans.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Hillary never said the only time she is proud to be a American was yesterday! Caucuses, winner take all states, state with district by district apportionment formulas, states trying to outstrip one another by moving primary dates up in order to "have a hand" in the process.

No matter who wins Wisconsin, nothing will be decided today.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

If you think the media has not been soft on Obama, then you haven't been reading and watching news. I have never seen such slanted coverage-ever. And now Obama is stealing speeches just like he stole Clinton and Edwards platform. Cult is right.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Ol Hil's 35 years of experience amount to a couple more senate years than Obama. She should've run in 2004, but she didn't have the faith then that Obama has now. It is time for a woman president, Hilary just isn't the one.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Well, I am not American, but I have been watching this election with interest. Is it only me who sees that making a big issue out of the speech thing is a Hilary Clinton dirty strategy of just digging up dirt even where there isn't? Who said using someone's words that appropriately relates to one's current state of affairs is plagiarism? My friends in the office are just laughing at the whole American politics. Americans have no idea how such things hurt their image abroad. Just wondering what other stupid thing will come out next from the Hilary Campaign to make news. Hilary's strategy is clearly to make up for her lack of inspiring speeches, by making an issue out of nothing. And hasn't the Bush dynasty taught Americans that "monarchy" is not the way to go? With similar issues, making the headlines, it looks like a typical childish exchange of words. Hard to imagine it is coming from the highly respected Clintons. The respect is gone. Americans, choose your presidents wisely, because whoever, you elect affects the rest of the world and you too. I will end by saying, I USED TO RESPECT THE CLINTONS.
Don't we just need a fresh thing on the political menu?

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

I don't want the Clinton legacy of corruption and moral bankruptcy to represent the USA any longer. I will vote for Obama in Primary! You might ask me why??

He will unit this country to vote against Democratic nominee comes November. He is a god sent for us. I was very worried when I saw Clinton running and thought we would have to hand over the oval office. But by looking at Obama's records and dealings, I can insure you McCain will win in November without even trying. I have seen how bias the media has been. That is because there is a big disparity based on percentage of population in National Media. They are allowing Clinton bashers and Obama blogger and supporter act like mobs and giving them a free range. We the Conservatives watch the National media as a source of entertainment. It is our Soaps. What they are doing to Clinton is ungodly. That will teach all those politician in Washington a lesson. The one president who was called the Black president is now portrait like the biggest racist. I get a laugh when I see Ted Kennedy campaigning on Borak's behalf. Wasn't Kennedy the reason our children are left behind??? What else can you expect from a drunken murderer. I get a laugh when I hear they are using every good deeds Clinton did for blacks against him. He should have opened up an office in Trump tower instead of Harlem. I had a great day yesterday reading all the stuff out there about Mr. Borak which will be brought to the open as soon as he wins the nomination for his party. Join me in insuring another Republican presidency comes November. Vote for Borak.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Hillary or Obama, what a pair. You wonder why the Repbulicans will win the WH AGAIN with a crappy candidate. Dems produce even worse candidates. Its pathetic.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

F. As a black person nothing would make me happier than to see a African-American president. I am worried though that alot of these caucus voters who are casting their vote for Mr. Barack Obama may not actually be supportors but are in fact trying to sabotage the democractic race in the hope of winning the national election. Please remember that a large majority of democratic voters in the south are actually republicans who consitantly vote republican when it comes down to the national election. Could these same people be casting their vote for Mr. Obama in the hopes he might be an easier candidate to beat when it comes down to the big vote. Has anyone bothered to ask why suddenly so many southern white men are casting their vote for Mr. Obama. I hope this is not the case and if it is the case hopefully it will fail. The reason why most of us older women (BTW - I have 3 college degrees, thank you very much inept profilers), prefer Hillary, is that we recognize being an inspirational speaker does not equal a competent POTUS. We've had more years to be duped and disappointed by slick liars. In fact, John F. Kennedy, although inspirational, was an incompetent POTUS. No one seems to remember this about JFK, his legacy was built on his charm and charisma; he wasn't even a decent person -- he was a well-known womanizer, of very ill health, and an accomplished liar. What concerns me most about Baby Obama, is his lack of a voting record -- voting 'Present' two-thirds of the time means you're seeking to avoid definition. Bill Clinton got it right -- this guy is a walking question mark!
First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

A. A desperate fight for the Dem nomination. Hillary will not go down without a fight, even if it takes the entire party with her. If she wins the nomination, she will have turned off 1/2 of her potential voters. Considering that 1/2 of the US population hates her with a fire of 1000 Suns, she will have a huge up-hill battle trying to win over people that loath her. Anyone who supports her should really step back and think twice about it. Hillary says that she will be ready on day 1... So will everyone that hates her guts. It's unfortunate that Bill didn't just admit that he made a mistake. Funny thing is, he's definitly not the only President to have a little fun with a misstress. He just happen to get caught. One thing is for certain he did an overall great job with the country.
As for his wife. She's not Bill. Nowhere near. She's an evil woman. Just look at her.

First thoughts: All eyes on Wisconsin

Again, Obama gets a pass, anyone else and he would be called on it.
