Obama has been vague in his proposed policies and details about his changes to the point of absurdity, campaigning on a platform of feel-good speeches and vapid idealism. Perhaps her inability to communicate effectively and connect with the voting public is an indicator of her "inexperience" and negative potential to communicate, connect and lead from the Whitehouse.

As a last note, Hillary Clinton may continue to tout her great "experience on day one." I opine if no one is listening or if she remains unheard, then her net leadership effectiveness is the negative equivalent of having no message or experience at all!

Yes, it has been 35 years, and now it's time to get real!

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

It never fails to amaze me when people like hillary start losing, and they can't imagine that someone would dare not vote for them...so yea it's time to get real...whatever political capital you had because of your husband, you squander everytime you open your mouth...uninspiring, terrible speaker, and honestly, her record isnt that much longer or more impressive in the least than obama's considering how much more experience she says she has. Furthermore, she says she understands about working class americans, working the nightshift...thats just ludicrous. stop relying on dirty politics...she's a bush in democrat's clothing.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Hillary has clearly lost her momentum in this race. Bill promised to support a Presidenttial run for Hillary in return for her deflecting the rape and groping attacks.Only thing she couldn't deflect was that dammed blue dress and DNA sample and of course the infamouse cigar. Bill broke his promise to her (surprise, surprise) and used his oratory skills to sanitize his own term and in effect was worse than useles for Hillary. This I call poetic justice. Clinton was being designated as the inevitable Democratic candidate. At some point it would be nice if she could take credit for a mistake or failure.

She voted for the Iraq War: She was misled, and given false information. Although many others voted against the authorization. Those that did vote for it, such as former Sen. John Edwards, have since admitted the mistake, but not Sen. Clinton. President Bush's fault.

She was a proponent of NAFTA during President Clinton's administration, but now wavers on that support. When insinuations arise about this, a story is released that she "didn't really support it" she was being a good wife. Bill Clinton's fault.

As First Lady, when pushing for her first health care plan, she was abrasive and calculating in tearing down any and all detractors, or even those who could have supported it with slight changes or at least a seat at the table. The initiative failed, and many possible allies were alienated. Congress' fault.

And now, as a failing candidate, whom up until three months ago was the prohibitive favorite, with a failing campaign that frittered away it's lead because they didn't take the time to actually plan for any challenges, or place qualified people in necessary positions, or manage funds correctly, or act in a way that treats the American people as a respected constituency, and took every opportunity to engage in the degrading, dishonest, win at all costs, negative political attack strategies that have done nothing but divide our party; you claim she is being mistreated, and not given a chance. No, it's not her fault, it's the media's fault.

Maybe the negative attention is due to the fact that she is losing, and there's no positive way to spin that.

We've spent the last seven years with a President who has done nothing but deflect blame and point out others flaws, a President who has yet to acknowledge any wrongdoing or mistake, a President who routinely treats the American public as a tool with which to win elections instead of a constituency to which he should be responsible, and you are promoting a choice for the next President is giving us nothing but the same.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Let's get Real:

government transparency... by Obama? ...

... reminds me of the "Emperors New Clothes", (portrait of Barack Obama as his minions continue to praise his beautiful new clothes)... remember the story?

NO THEY WON'T

Obama,12

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Positive words causing positive action. It reminds me of JFK and his space program goals. Leaders express positive ideas and positive people make them happen. Every time i see the space shuttle i am reminded of JFK's words. I am so thankful for positive words expressed by Leaders followed up with positive action.
Regarding work: Harvard Law School Graduate; Constitutional Law Professor; Illinois State Senate for 7 years; First Term Senator. Sounds to me like Senator Obama has been working.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Obama's a nutty preacher, and it's scary how people have swooned over him. They're voting approval of his speeches, when they should be voting for sound policies. His are not.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Hillary still does not get it! He never apologized and she just stood there 'standing by her man', when he was shamefully wrong and arrogant.

She let a man bring her down.

It's a new day. We have better options today.

Obama refers to his wife as "The Rock of my Family".

These things matter to me and they speak to Character.

My vote goes Obama!!!

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Hillary Clinton was an unelected occupant of the White House for 8 years, we have no idea what she did while she was there, because she refuses to release her white house papers, we're just supposed to take her word for it that she was helpful.

Except that the one thing she did do was work on healthcare and it was the biggest disaster of her husband's two terms, unless you count his impeachment.

And as to experience, guess who had less of it than Obama?

Abraham Lincoln. Seems like Lincoln did just fine.

Vote for a brilliant, positive man instead of for 20 years of the same two families (Clinton and Bush). This is America, not England. It's a democracy not a monarchy and it's time for a change.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

ANYONE WHO HAS READ KATHLEEN WILLIE'S BOOK 'TARGET' WILL
OBTAIN AN INSIDE VIEW OF HILLARY & CO. TO ATTACK SEN.
OBAMA AS HAVING NOTHING MORE THAN WORDS OR "SOARING
RHETORIC" IS SELF DESTRUCTIVE SINCE IT IS THE SUBSTANCE OF SEN. Edwards may have accidentally left his campaing office unlocked. Team Clinton has tried to usurp the Populist mantle that rightfully was John Edwards. Obama has been restrained in his campaigning (made possible, in large part, because the media has refused to subject him to any kind of criticism or even critique), the same cannot be said for his supporters who, if one is to believe the stuff on the blogosphere, are about the nastiest folks out there (even while they are berating Sen. Clinton for "going negative"). Obama supporters kinda remind me of the RON PAUL (note, they always put "RON PAUL" in all capitals, for some reason) Republicans - one might find points of agreement with the candidate, but his supporters are just plain vile. For the record, I'm not a Hillary Clinton fan and I do find Obama to be an eloquent and charismatic speaker, but, frankly, his record gives me some pause and some of his actions give me the willies, tho' nothing speaks more negatively of him than his supporters and their vitriole. Try some civility, folks.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

What is offensive to me is Senator Obama is given so much praise for his oratory, but in answering Senator Clinton's charge that words are not as important as actions, he opted to recycle a two year old Deval Patrick speech. It is time to get real. To the people that say, "What has Hillary Clinton done?", this proves one thing. You really haven't done your homework. You may not like her, but she has, and continues to be an incredible workhorse for the American people, with a formidable list of accomplishments. It is time for you to get real about how the very wealthy and Barack's dear friend Oprah are financing a campaign that is dumping obscene amounts of money into a media brainwashing. They are trusting that you will be too lazy to actually research for yourselves the candidates abilities, experience and accomplishments. And to all you young voters who don't have enough historical perspective, the Clinton administration was well known (and feared by Republicans) to be a time of great American prosperity and global relations. There was a lot of Republican bashing, just as there is now. So look up a few facts for yourself.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Hillary's experience- Wal-Mart Board of Directors and lawyer for an anti-union law firm in Arkansas.

http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0207-34.htm

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

In contrast with many of the comments, I think Hillary has realized it is (almost) over. There are two groups in this country, the ordinary people (inexperienced in Washington) and the experienced people in Washington. For years the ordinary people pleased the hopes and dreams in the hands of the people in Washington, and have always been disappointed. Finally ordinary people are mad and have decided to select someone just like them, an equally inexperienced ordinary people to lead them to get the job done, if the so called experienced people can not get along and get the job done.
IT not about Obama, the American people have decided to fix the problems themselves and are choosing Obama to just the leader to lead them. Your only mission is to sell yourself and I think that is why both McCain and Clinton will fail...The attack on Obama's legislation that he has sponsored in his short term in office is a real contrast to that of Hillary. Actually, Obama has her beat on that one, so I expect a serious debate when she brings it up during the next debate...The biggest issue facing her is simple: People do not trust her. She hasn't released her Tax Return, so people can see how much money the Clinton's made from external sources (Dubai) or any of the other shady things that they are trying to hide. Remember, Whitewater was a Hillary Clinton deal. Travelgate was a Hillary Clinton deal...The problem with McCain is he is old, and has a ton of old people with him. He can not explain how he is going to pay for a prolonged war (in Iraq) without raising taxes, he hasn't mentioned Senior Citizen's benefits...Nope all McCain talks about is his Foreign Policy experience, and he isn't very good on that. The argument can be made that if he is such a wiz at it, how did we end up in the Iraq war? He should have known that Iraq didn't have Weapons of Mass Destruction! Next, he just Flip-Flopped on waterboarding. He is a former Navy man but he said and did nothing when the Military downsized to a dangerously low level. People, our Soldiers/Sailors/Marines/Airmen are on their 5th tour of duty in Iraq/Afganistan/Horn of Africa. Yes, we have Sailors on the ground in Iraq doing convoy escorts (that is an Army job), yet he hasn't said anything about boosting the end numbers of the Military...He is a clown!

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

Last night in Hillary's speech she didn't give any specifics on any proposals on how to fix America. None of the reponses here nor the news media have truly stepped up and pressed any of the candidates on these or other issues. Rhetoric is not a solution. Our best Presidents were combination of experience, leadership, rhetorical skills, and being in touch with the American people. They were FDR, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Reagan. They were not the Huie Long's of this world. Obama for all else that can be said of him is much more akin to Huie Long than FDR. Clinton also lacks much as does McCain. But, the News Media focused not on what we need in a President at this crucial time, but the same at this blog, "star" power. Let's hope the people of Texas, Ohio, and Pa will focus on the issues.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

We've known here in Iowa that she was not the right choice for months. That's why she came in a distant third in our state last month. Not to be egotistical, but if it weren't for us, none of the rest of you would be having this conversation because she would have pretty much sailed through most of the other states.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

I'm getting so tired of her boring stump speeches. Barack is on a major roll and is the fresh voice that America is so obviously interested in hearing. It saddens me though that people have been so swept off their feet that they havent stopped to consider his empty resume. He reminds me of the Iphone. Making girls faint at your rallies and giving great speeches do not a good president make.

I also think it's sickening that the supposed land of opportunity has yet to have a woman president and yet countries like Germany, India, Pakistan (!?) have. Change is needed as we are surely traveling a path that in time will place us in the hands of others, but can one man or woman change the course that we are on, a course created over decades. Mr.Obama is saying what we all want to hear, but will he stay on track and finish the job once he gets to Washington. When he begins to battle all of the politians that are happy with the way things are, will he wilt under the pressure as so many before him has? Is it really the President that
decides the fate of our country or the Senate and House with so many that have spent decades living off the American people inside the beltway. We the American people want change, but do they. We must do something and soon,if we plan to leave this country better for our chidren than it was for us,we are failing right now. I hope as one American that our next President will have the courage to stay the course that's promised and finish the job, regardless
of the number of toes he stands on in D.C. Maybe Mr Obama can get Colin Powell to run as his VP, to help
steady the course when the seas get choppy as they surely will, if Mr. Obama is real.

Hillary: 'It's time to get real'

If Hillary let her good friend rot in jail (for not testify against her during the Whitewater Scandal)for so many years and didn't lift a finger or voice to help....WHAT WILL SHE NOT DO TO HELP THOSE SHE DOESN'T KNOW!!!
