First, consider that the money he spent came from people. We paid for this, and it is to Obama's credit that he has the organizational ability to spend this much without breaking a sweat.

Obama won 58% of the vote in Wisconsin. Hillary's gotten at least 58% of the vote in ONE out of the 36 contests this year (Arkansas). She couldn't even get 58% of the vote against Uncomitted and Dennis Kucinich in Michigan's beauty contest primary.

In the debate Obama said he has been endorsed by every major newspaper in the state.

Seems a bit odd to me & bears wondering WHY?

Could it be ..... those advertising dollars .... the media lives by?

There is a pattern to be seen across all forms of the media; a pattern that has been going on throughout this campaign. That pattern is strikingly ABNORMAL: no criticism, no scrutiny, no questioning of Obama, no blame for anything; Nothing but Promoting HIM.

The other side of that coin is: criticism, scrutiny, questioning of HER every smallest word and move ... taken to absurd lengths, even blaming Clinton for things Obama did - (for example, he turned to negative campaigning, first, but the media blamed HER for it); nothing but slamming the Clintons.

This has been going on every day all day long in most of "the media". Lots of other people Noticed it too and posted their complaints about this sudden "media madness" on media matters website.

Curiously, the media ignores this highly Abnormal state of affairs - turns a blind eye to the Blatant absurdity of their "news" "coverage". Just a few months ago suddenly, overnight all the TV media turned into Faux News.

The media is failing to cover the Biggest Story of this election campaign: Their OWN Corporate Controlled FAILURE to do anything other than PROMOTE (SELL) their Corporate Masters Choice for Democrat Presidential Candidate: Barack Obama.

The question remains: WHY?

The deal killer for me on Obama for President is: 29 new nuclear power plants. The dirtiest, Un-Greenest, most expensive energy we can build.

Obama voted FOR the Cheney Energy Bill passed in 2005 (H.R.6) - which enables the nuclear industry to obtain financing for their 29 new nukes - by Guaranteeing TAXPAYER Payback of those loans .... in the event of DEFAULT....... which the Congressional Budget Office rated at 50% or greater. (No new nukes have been built in the U.S. for the past 30 years because the banks would not loan money to build them - too risky).

(.... .... & how would you like to take a quarter, or a half of everything you own .... whether that's $100, $5000, $1 Million, several $Billion .... go to Las Vegas & place it all on one roll of the dice --- which will get you --- double your money ..... or Nothing? NO PROBLEM.....IF.... like the NUKE industry ..... --- You Can't Lose ..... since your fellow citizens of the USA will give you All Your Money back. Do you Think that's capitalism, free enterprise?)

Now, Back to WHY?

McCain is in favor of building new nukes. Obama is in favor of building new nukes. Clinton is not and she voted AGAINST the Cheney Energy Bill.

Three consortiums are planning to build those 29 nukes. Major players in those consortiums are: Excelon, GE, Westinghouse.

Excelon is headquartered in ILLINOIS, Obama's 4th largest campaign contributor, sends lobbyists to see him.

GE owns NBC and MSNBC. Westinghoue owns CBS. They have many many thousands of products to ADVERTISE on TV, Radio, and in newspapers all over the USA. .... and they want to build those new nukes.
(GE is the 2nd largest corporation on the planet)

WHY has every major newspaper in Texas endorsed Obama? Got any idea yet?

WHY are NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, PROMOTING Obama for President/Slamming the Clintons? Got any idea yet?

IF ELECTED, No matter what Obama might WANT to do .... does he have any chance of doing anything other than what the Corporations & the Corporate-controlled media who put him in the White House .... Want him to do?

Obama repeatedly says ..... that his campaign has been financed by .... we the little people ...... says .... he doesn't take a dime from federal lobbyists (Registered with the Federal goverment) but that's just lawyer legal-technicality-speak ..... because .... he does take money from REGISTERED Federal Lobbyist's wives, husbands, aunts, cousins, law partners, state lobbyists, not registered lobbyists, and all the same Big$$$ sources as Clinton.

Has the TV media ever Called Obama on his deceptive practice of fooling voters into believing he is fiananced by no one but the little people? No.
Has the TV media ever Reported the FACTS .... that his money comes from the same lobbys & Big$$ corporations as every other candidate? No.

That information is easily found on the internet. I know about it - don't the TV media people know about it? Sure, but they sure aren't telling you ... the little people. WHY?

WHY isn't the TV media telling you there's a real good chance Obama's chances of getting elected will go down the tubes ..... after Antoin Rezko of Chicago (aka Tony the Fixer) goes on trial February 25th - prosecuted by Patrick Fitzgerald on bribery, extortion, and money laundering charges?

Rezko's low-income property financing (federal loans) was handled by the 12-person law firm Obama worked for; Rezko was an Obama fund raiser since Obama's earliest days in politics; he was a member of Obama's campaign finance committee when Obama ran for U.S. Senate; some of the ....allegedly.... extorted money went into Obama's campaign coffers.

Since her campaign leveled allegations of copying at Sen. Obama, observers have pointed out similarity between some of Sen. Clinton's language and that of her husband.

(CNN) – Hillary Clinton – whose campaign has spent the past several days pointing to instances of borrowed language in the speeches of rival Barack Obama – is being accused of lifting words from one very familiar politician: her own husband, former President Bill Clinton.

During Thursday night’s CNN Democratic debate, Clinton looked to highlight occasions when lines used by Obama have resembled those delivered by his friend and adviser, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick.

Clinton’s closing answer, which brought the audience to its feet, highlighted her personal struggles and the difficulties facing ordinary Americans: "You know, the hits I’ve taken in life are nothing compared to what goes on every single day in the lives of people across our country."

Shortly after she delivered her closing remark, a reader of Joshua Micah Marshall’s Talking Points Memo Web site noted that the line seemed to bear a resemblance to one her husband was quoted as delivering during his 1992 campaign.

"The hits that I took in this election are nothing compared to the hits the people of this state and this country have been taking for a long time," her husband was quoted as saying in an article by Anna Quindlen in the New York Times in that November of that year.

Last night, Hillary Clinton also said: “You know, whatever happens, we're going to be fine. You know, we have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we'll be able to say the same thing about the American people. And that's what this election should be about.”

The Obama campaign immediately began circulating a similar comment delivered by former presidential candidate John Edwards. “What's not at stake are any of us. All of us are going to be just fine no matter what happens in this election. But what's at stake is whether America is going to be fine,” Edwards said during a December debate in Iowa.

Obama says Hillary will not bring change. He is right. Hillary will bring progress.

Those who were not involved to experience the past did not gain the knowledge that must be retained. They lack the retention of ingredients needed to progress the issues of health care, the economy, jobs, and to redirect resources from the Iraq War to the fight on terrorism.

Obama wants us to forget and eliminate those who possess the knowledge gained during those fights, as if by doing so there can be progress.

Obama was not in the fight for health care, when the insurance companies brought change that defeated any hope for progress. Obama was not in the Senate fight that authorized the use of force to combat terrorism when the President changed the intelligence that doomed the plan. Obama was not in the fight that brought prosperity and jobs during the 90’s, or when but Bush made the changes that doomed the economy.

If these issues demand progress, then Hillary will be the right President.

For anyone who would doubt that change cannot bring progress, I offer Iraq. The Bush doctrine wanted to bring the progress of Democracy and equality to Iraq. The Bush doctrine held that by changing the “cast of characters” in Iraq that democracy could progress and flourish.

In Iraq the changes were made, and the cast was changed, but no one believes that the cause of Democracy has made progress during the 5 years of war.

We do not need change from our Democratic values. We need progress. Hillary Clinton is the right person, and will be the right President.

The notion that Republicans are voting for Obama in an effort to "take out" Hillary is sheer lunacy. Of the two candidates, republicans are (rightfully) far more fearful of going against Obama than they are of going against the devicive Hillary.

Whether it is fair or not, the bottom line is that Hillary pisses off a substantial portion of the Conservative voting base. They'd show up to vote for McCain simply because they dispise her.

Conversely, in a McCain/Obama contest, social conservatives will likely just stay at home. They don't care much for McCain and their feelings on Obama are probably about the same.

There is absolutely no question that in a match up vs. McCain, the democratic party has a far better shot of winning if Obama is hte candidate.

As for Senator Obama's Harvard Law School experience being an automatic disqualifier, did that poster forget that Senator Clinton went to Yale Law School? Did that poster perhaps forget that Senator Obama started life with very few advantages and many disadvantages while Senator Clinton did not? I would ask that you try not to forget it again. You have made another insulting untrue attack on Senator Obama, that actually rebounds against Senator Clinton should someone actually do the research.

To conclude: if you want anyone to actually change their mind, you will find that ad hominem (the act of offense by personal insult) is not a winning strategy. If you have something positive to say about Senator Clinton, you might have a chance of swaying an actual voter with that positive statement.

Full disclosure: I am one of those "delusional," "cultish," "latte drinking," alleged trust fund babies who has the audacity to support Senator Obama. (By the way, I do wish I had that trust fund, but not a big fan of latte). I support Senator Obama in part because he understands and does not use ad hominem. Instead, Senator Obama is trying to get all of us back to arguing over policy differences. Guess what folks, if we actually argued the policies, instead of focusing on insulting each other, we would have a much better chance of solving our problems. This applies to our personal lives as well.

Okay Patty, Far from "joining a cult" or "being hypnotized," I have a graduate degree, work closely with law and politics, and have researched both Democratic candidates. I concluded that while Hillary is a good candidate and would make a good president, Barack would make a better president. I came to this conclusion not because of his speeches or any of the spin, hype, etc. Quite frankly, I don't think either of the candidates will deliver on everything they promise.

Check out the library of Congress (www.thomas.gov)to see legislation each has introduced. Like I said, both have a good record...and regardless of the spin you may have heard, if you look at Obama's record honestly, he walks the talk. There is substance behind his speeches.

It's amazing that we actually get anything done in our election process, now the debate centers around who spent what and the unfairness of it all.

Early in the week and last week McCain brought up the issue of campaign financing. Hmmmmm a republican worried about of all things MONEY! Now some criticize the Obama campaign for judiciously and strategically spending monies average citizens donated.

Doesn't it seem ironic EXPERIENCE, connected politicians begin to cry foul when things aren't going their way. I guess if big organizations and donors who run multi-billion dollar companies were able to support "their" candidate that would be fair.

I guess if they could build up the war chests without public scrutiny the game would be a bit different, wouldn't it?

Michelle Obama fired the first negative shot ("if you can't run your own house, you can't run the White House") and not a word was said. Bill Clinton said that Obama's Iraq claims (against it from the first and still against it) were a "fairy tale" since he backed off that stance during his Senate campaign and has voted exactly the same as Hillary while in the Senate. You couldn't turn on any cable news channel without hearing an abbreviated sound bite followed by an opinion that the remark was racist and a slap at Obama's entire campaign.

Something is up with the media and it ain't pretty. At first I thought they just weren't doing their jobs because they were afraid of being labeled as racist, but watching events of the last weeks has changed my mind. They know exactly what they're doing. And if anyone thinks that on-air personalities - I refuse to call this new breed "journalists" - have only to answer to themselves as to the content they broadcast, I've got some swampland I'd like to sell you.

Of course the media isn't talking much about the standing ovation Hillary Clinton got last night.
Campbell Brown tried to cover it as for the final two candidates, but it was clearly for Hillary Clinton. Even MSNBC's Rachel Maddow had a more kinder, gentler face on last night for the first time as she acknowledged the highlight of the debate was Hillary's answer to the last question. If you noticed Obama did not really answer the question.
Of course the plagiarism question was asked by John King. Hillary should have simply said it is fine to quote your friend, just credit him, all students know how serious it is to plagiarize. Obama correctly said that we are now in the "Silly Season" which John King should have taken to heart that he even wasted his time with the question. If he thought that was an important issue, he could have asked Obama about Michelle's statement about "The first time in my adult life I am proud of my country." Acutally, it would have been interesting to hear his response.

But as for the "Silly Season" conclusion by Obama,
it is another answer of double-speak because within 30 minutes or so of the end the debate, the Obama camp attacked Hillary Clinton on her comment about being okay, and hoping that the American people would be okay also (my recollection of statement)
accusing her of being a plagiarist, lifting that from John Edwards and Bill Clinton. GIVE ME A BREAK.
OBAMA IS AS QUICK AS A SNAKE WITH HIS ATTACKS EVEN AFTER CALLING THIS SUBJECT GETTING INTO THE "SILLY SEASON". OOPS, GUESS I MISUNDERSTOOD HIM...HE MUST HAVE MEANT THAT NOW IT "IS" TIME AND OKAY FOR HIM.

Hillary showed so much more class and substance in the debate. She would be a really terrific President. But...and I hesitate to say but...I really think that she is too good for America. Meaning, Americans have treated her so badly and the media has trashed her. She is deserving of more and if the Republicans win in the fall they can be responsible for Bush's mess.
The cross-over Repub voters will run home to their party in the fall. They have been terrified of running against Hillary Clinton for years.

If I can do a write-in on the ballot in Nov., I will write in Hillary Clinton, if not I will vote Rep. for the first time since Ronald the Actor, when I was young and foolish and he was like a rock star running for President!!! Clinton's campaign has a long list of vendors still waiting to get paid for printing, rent, phones, etc. The fact is that she was outspent in Wisconsin because Obama has run a well managed campaign which is funded largely by grass roots donors who continue to give to keep the thing going. He spent the money because he could, and his advertisements heavily featured himself. Hillary's few ads in Wisconsin were dominated by negative attack ads which clearly didn't work.

I wonder why she is paying all those consultants 10s of millions of dollars if this is all she is getting for it? With her name recognition Hillary probably could have run a budget campaign like Huckabee and done nearly as well as she has. In fact, without overprice "help" like Mark Penn she might be winning!

The standing ovation was to a concilitory statement by Clinton that she was proud to be on stage with Barack Obama. -- this was a highlight for Clinton because it made her look good but it in no way made Obama look bad.
The entire audience boo'ed Clintons Xerox comment that was fired at Obama after she said words should be your own because it sounded like that was a canned tagline made up by her campaign when she made the xerox statement. The entire audience agreed that this is a non issue and silly.

The comparison of Obama and JFK really disturbs me. I admit that I am not an Obama fan but neither am I of JFK, but lets look at the two.
