Really doesnt make a difference McCain has so many lobbysist working for him, he has all the money he needs from these folks...Lets be honest do you think there working for nothing...be real they have a big interest at stake that could continue to bankrupt this country, that has been in a recession now for months that the politicians wont admit to. Must be election time...These are the kind of people who have brought this country to where it is now....This is the washington that has a 29 percent rating of the worst congress ever....and you want more of the same....same politics just different people....We now have a congressman from Airizona under investigation, lobbysist taking care of him, we have a senator in Alaska under investigation, lobbysist taking care of him biggest pork barrell spender in the country, this is the guy who took money from the american people who need, jobs, health care, made in america goods and a long list, to take care of his needs. Mr McCain has more lobbysist working for him than anyone, why, they have and interest in there walletts.and want to continue pollitcs as usual. . We have more corruption in washington. We have sitting politicians who are more concerened for there welfare than ours. Must be election time there playing up to ous now.They must need your vote to continue into taking this country in to recesssion Is this what the ameerican people want if so dont vote for change and it will continue, so get off your couch give up the tv changer and go down and pull the lever and make a change by your vote...Meanwhile the saying is dont shoot till you see the whites of there eyes and when you do shoot straight with your voice and vote....Change

This could easily turn into a HUGE problem for the McCain camp. In his view, he can withdraw from the system, but it has been clearly stated that he has to have approval before he is able to withdraw from it. If this is the case, he is really stuck, as there is no body that can approve it, as nominations for the FEC members are stuck in the Senate. He would be stuck with about 2 million dollars to spend between now and the RNC several months from now!

This story needs to have legs.

1. Conservatives are the prudes of America who basically ry to push their ideologies down your throat.
2. They are the real hypocrites of America in that they asked for limited government but tried tog et the government recklessly involved in the Terri Schiavo case.
3. They are warmongers and present God as a war monger in that they supported the Iraq war and cared little or nothing about over 650,000 Iraqi lives destroyed by reckless U.S. war efforts, even as they tell us life is sacred and opposed a woman's right to regulate her body.
4. They call themselves guardians of virtue, but then you can easily find scandals (sex and money scandals, etc) among the Republicans, yet the cosnervatives try to scapegoat others (liberals most often) for their scandalous acts).
So what is a true cosnervative? There is no such thing as a "compassioante conservative" or "environmental conservativism" In a secular, freedom loving world, conservativism has no place.
We have to also reject the 'liberal' label. We have to be Americans, and only is a patriot one who rejects the ideologies and labels of a particular group in America. People criticizing Obama for not wearing the lapel pin with the flag of the US on it are as much nationalist as those of Europeans during the 19th, and 20th centuries of explosive nationalism that ultimately gave us World War 1 and 2.

Take a good look at McCain and the people like Charles Black and the others who surround him. Take a damm good look at them. They look like has beens from the 40's and 50's with no new ideas, no new context of the country or the world. It is down right scary. Does it not disturb any one that McCain's approach to foreign affairs is to say we will be at war for 100 years or his bomb song about Iran? These guys look like the nursing home folk where Grandpa Simpson lives. They even walk like old timers. Do we really want to re-cycle these guys? It will be Rumsfield and Chaney all over again. Come on America we can do better.

Oh my, no one commenting on the actual article? OK, this is an appeal Dems hope to lose. Right now, Obama and Clinton are out-fund-raising McCain. They pray most devoutly that McCain will pull out of public financing, so they can do the same, without opening themselves to charges of hypocrisy. They need McCain to do it, and as noisily as possible, so everyone remembers he was the first.

Do you have a sorce to back up your allegation? Actually, I think I do remember Obama flip flopped on this issue -- after voluntarily banning special interest money from reaching his campaign, he let unions help with some of the financing. I think actckeck.org has addressed this issue already, so you may want to conduct a little research. I urge you to try to post sources when leveling allegations against any candidate.
