In his luncheon speech at the National Press Club yesterday, GOP Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger emphasized bipartisanship while still making it clear that he has not become an Independent, NBC's Lauren Appelbaum reports. "I am still a proud Republican,"

Love the Govs

We are elected as public servants, not party servants.

I'm referring to the statement of Arnold's "Isn't the ultimate principle to serve the people, to do the things that are good for the people? We are elected as public servants, not party servants." Arnold probably should have expanded just a little bit on which people (the majority of the people in the United States and not just the upper 1% or the extreme right wing). I'm a middle of the road type of person and right now don't feel that anybody is representing me or even thinking about me.

Love the Govs

To serve the people, to work for the good of the people, what a radical idea.
