Hillary started the debate angry, agressive, and bullied her way into monopolizing the time. I was very put off. I like Hillary, but this debate made me realize that she has a sense of entitlement and will stop at nothing to win.

My overall impression is that when I was watching Barack, I was looking at the next president of the United States. He was calm, intelligent and very magnanimous. He rose above the sarcastic comments from Hillary and I was very impressed by how he was able to speak well of Hillary in spite of the Clinton campaign tactics of the past week.

I wish Hillary had run a more clean and fair campaign. Her anger and sarcasm has not served our party well. Yes, she is brilliant and capable, but she's running her campaign the "old" rovian way whereas Barack is running his campaign the way America wants a campaign to be; the way we want our government to interact with the people.

I am an African American and I do not agree with Mr Farakahn views. Having said that, one of the CNN contributers made and interesting point about the Farakhan question. I'm not sure of the direct quote, but what he was basically saying was this. Why is it that whenever Louis Farakhan goes off on some crazy rant that it's always the task of the African American candidate dejour to denouce/reject Louis Farakhan? It's like the whole OJ Simpson thing...
Not every Person on the African American community support Louis Farakhan or the Nation of Islam's views. Not every African American think that the OJ Simpson trial verdict was just. So why does Barack Obama have to "forcefully" reject Farakhan's endorsement. The CNN contributer used the example of Trent Lott of Mississippi, who said of Strom Thurman (an avid defender of the segregationist movement), that if he was elected president "we wouldn't have the problems today". No one asked Trent Lott to forcefully "denounce/reject" Strom.

This was a campaign that had deep pockets, a seasoned organization, a huge brand name, a former president as her biggest supporter and an almost at one time 30 to 40 percent lead in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nation Wide. Hiring Mark Penn was her first mistake. Being cocky to the point of stupidity was her second and mostly since she never played sports she broke the cardinal rule: Never underestimate your opponet! When the book is written about this election years from now she still will be the only one who will not get it. I feel sorry for Chelse. She is going to have to be the one trying to get her mother over this after Bill finally moves on and Hillary still replaying that Katie Kuric interview over and over again in her head or on her i pod. For change to come to America, we need a unified Democratic party in power and control. We are all focused on 'The Prez" but we had a good one in Bill and screwed our children by fighting him with a Republican legislature. They taxed the poor and killed their children in an immoral, duplicitous war.

The ONLY hope for AMerica getting back on track is A MAJORITY IN BOTH HOUSE AND SENATE. 60+ senate seats, 290 seats in the house. THEN Either candidate would steer America straight. Their ideas are identical, the minute details adjustable. BOTH would have advisors to fine tune the plans...

Personally, I am abhored at hillary's desperation. I mean she cried in new hampshire because she thought she would be creamed, and now, just like a 6 year old... whine whine whine until she gets what she wants. i admire Mr. Obama for his presenceof mind and maturity (LOL at THAT irony), but he needs to be less glib and more direct.

I swore i would vote for Hillary if she ran because America NEEDS a woman to run this homeland, but once i got to know her, I understand WHY the press was set against her. They knew her from the BILL years! LMAO

We discussed this in one of my law lectures this morning. From my perspective Obama did what he needed to do. He fought Hilary down to a tactical draw.

The second he goes after her hard the reverse double standard will kick in and he'll be perceived as a bully. I thought he did an awesome job.

Having said that I am dismayed with both Democratic candidates as far as NAFTA goes. The way NAFTA is set up and the overall prosperity it provides it's not going to be tossed.

Both of them said they'd threaten to opt out. Huh? Think it through, you tell your largest trading partner and your largest supplier of oil (Canada)that you want to opt out if you don't get a better deal when that country already provides oil at the ridiculously low royalty rate of 1%.

Not a strong bargaining position at all. It's pure politicking from the Democrats on this issue.

It is just so sad how some American voters view leadership. I'm a top manager for a non-profit agency and I remember when I took the position how people around me couldn't believe that I was offered the position just because I was black. On top of this, I'm a true believer of God. I go to church for spiritual growth and I'm sure Obama does the same. I don't think that I will ever understand what race or what church you go to, or who even supporters you financially has anything to do with you as a person? I just think some people need to get their facts right about Obama.

I have watched, researched and read a lot about Hillary and Obama but I'm still not pursued to vote for no other than Obama. Obama represents a change outside of the norm. When I came into my position, I told myself that I wanted to represent my department in the best way possible and that sometimes, you can reach the overall objective of any job responsibility by initiating change and by working with your team. Some Americans are afraid of change or they have become so anesthetized to the norm that change would be abnormal. Obama presents himself very well as a solid leader. His methods in politics are direct and diplomatic. I believe that he will be the next President of the United States. I just wonder when all is said and done and Obama and McCain are the only two candidates left to vote for as the next President - who will the American voters stand behind? I do not want another 8 years of a candidate who will put our country in more financial debt or no new resolution plan for international affairs. Obama has my vote.

Considering the real issues that this country faces such as foreclosures, weak housing market, the WAR, national security, job losses, crime, weak economic, etc. Why the backhanded swipe at Minister Farrakahn? He is not running for office. As a citizen Minister Farrakahn has a right to vote and support the candidate of his choice. It was wrong to ask Barack Obama to denounce or reject this man. A people who would enslave, dehumanize, and kill other human beings can not righteously condemn, reject, or denounce and individual who has the right to free speech.
