I was very put off. I like Hillary, but this debate made me realize that she has a sense of entitlement and will stop at nothing to win.

My overall impression is that when I was watching Barack, I was looking at the next president of the United States. He was calm, intelligent and very magnanimous. He rose above the sarcastic comments from Hillary and I was very impressed by how he was able to speak well of Hillary in spite of the Clinton campaign tactics of the past week.

I wish Hillary had run a more clean and fair campaign. Her anger and sarcasm has not served our party well. Yes, she is brilliant and capable, but she's running her campaign the "old" rovian way whereas Barack is running his campaign the way America wants a campaign to be; the way we want our government to interact with the people.

The new reality:

President Barack Obama

Obama camp's quiet offensive

T Terry...To make a big noise about the guy only gives him more air time and a legitimate force.

I agree with you 100% less said, less time for him to be seen and or heard.

Obama camp's quiet offensive

OBAMA WINS DEBATE !!! No, because they will continue taking her money.

If Democrats want to win in November, they will put their full support behind Barack Obama. Just because Americans are tired of George Bush, and Repubicans in general, that doesn't guarantee a free ticket to the White House.

Democrats need unity, and the same enthusiasm that they have demonstrated throughout these primaries.

Obama camp's quiet offensive

I'm glad that people were able to see what I always see about Obama. He fumbled for words. He heard what Hillary had to say about foreign policy and he agreed with everything she said. Clearly, Hillary won this debate also. Throughout her campaign, she has touted her "experience," which, apart from her Senate seat, amounts to being married to an elected official. Why has the media (and Hillary supporters) given this false claim to experience such short shrift? It contradicts her assertion that Obama gets favorable press coverage. Also, why has her failure to disclose her tax returns failed to provoke more media/supporter scrutiny? That excuse she used in last night's debate was more than a little lame - she's got plenty of "people" doing her hair, wardrobe, extensive makeup, not to mention all those handling her campaign; it is disingenuous to imply that these people couldn't just as well get her tax returns publicized. We are all focused on 'The Prez" but we had a good one in Bill and screwed our children by fighting him with a Republican legislature. They taxed the poor and killed their children in an immoral, duplicitous war.

The ONLY hope for AMerica getting back on track is A MAJORITY IN BOTH HOUSE AND SENATE. 60+ senate seats, 290 seats in the house. THEN Either candidate would steer America straight. Their ideas are identical, the minute details adjustable. BOTH would have advisors to fine tune the plans...

Personally, I am abhored at hillary's desperation. I mean she cried in new hampshire because she thought she would be creamed, and now, just like a 6 year old... whine whine whine until she gets what she wants. i admire Mr. Obama for his presenceof mind and maturity (LOL at THAT irony), but he needs to be less glib and more direct.

I swore i would vote for Hillary if she ran because America NEEDS a woman to run this homeland, but once i got to know her, I understand WHY the press was set against her. If we are honest with ourselves we would realize this. Once again, for all those who take issue with the ministers statements, please read/listen to his words in full context. The minister has clarified for decades the misunderstanding of his words. There are conditions in the world that warrant our attention. Race and racial tensions are a paramount ill here in the US. Min. Farrakhan chooses to focus on these points to cause a change in thinking and actions here and abroud for the better. This just goes to show that there is still a slave/slavemaster relationship here in America. This relationship is no longer overt but subtle. I always hear the catch phrases like hate monger, antisemite, etc when referring to the minister, but i never hear anyone say that he is lying or wrong in such statements. If you really want to silence the minister's words, challenge the words on the basis of truth. It would seem like the right thing to do. Would the truth of such a dialogue reveal something greater we are ill-prepared to deal with?

Obama camp's quiet offensive

Barrack Obama has excellent judgement. He has set a standard of behavior, especially when he is being ridiculed and criticized, that is admirable. I want my children to respond with the same grace and style when confronted with sarcasm. It's regal! I sincerely hope he is our next President.

Obama camp's quiet offensive

out of the whole debate all you got out of it was the Farrakhan question? What did you do - nap?

Hillary had another one of her moods/fits and everybody ignores it?

This woman COULD have her finger on the Button/Key -- doesn't this concern you at all?

Obama camp's quiet offensive

Brillant is not the word that embodied Hillary last night....try...........petty, catty, elementary schoolish! jeez!.....how ridiculous is it to use SNL as a back drop for your points?! And i hope that the American peaple realises that a new historical Baby girl or Baby boy is about to be born. And thats what change is all about Not Just Words. About Farakahn i do believe that senator Obama is very much aware of what type of character that man is. And i do hope that the racism issue should also be included in the T.V debates. I think American would want to know were both senator Obama and Hillary stands when it comes to racism because i know it is a sensitive quesstion and thats why it should be debated in this campaign = transparancy. Otherwise i do think when it come to health care theres no big differance between the two but when it comes to security Obama did win. The two are aiming for the big office and none of them has been tested before as a president so let join hands and support who ever wins. If you just don’t want to vote for Obama or dislike him, then just dislike him! I do think it’s unfair to put him in that position. He CLEARLY,CLEARLY stated he does not share and/or agree with Louis Farrakhan’s views. WHY OH WHY, did all of the Anti-Obama people chose to let this float right over their fearmonging little heads!!

That question was posed not so much for him to “denounce, reject,WHATEVER” about Louis Farrakhan, it was to pit him against his Jewish and Muslim voters.

NEWSFLASH-Obama wants to Unify the Nation.

NEWSFLASH-That Includes AMERICAN Muslims, who are not terrorist, who pay taxes, who lost loved ones (I’m not talking about the lunatics that were on the planes)in 9/11 ALSO.

NEWSFLASH-that includes the Muslim Law abiding citizens who are Doctors, Science Professor’s at your local Colleges, Who are Engineers and immigrated lawfully to this country, just like the Irish, Italian, Polish from long ago.

Obama is in a catch 22. If he comes out to say Farrakhan is an idiot but not all Muslims are bad, some backwards Americans will say,”AH HA” I KNEW IT! He’s Muslim. If he goes to the far extreme to say he hates Farrakhan, it can be misconstrued as if he doesn’t like Muslims. I mean come on, look at how they totally pulled Michelle’s comment about America and ran with it!!

For the record, I’m not Muslim but I hate the fear mongers, that’s what got us over to Iraq in the 1st place. I'm a top manager for a non-profit agency and I remember when I took the position how people around me couldn't believe that I was offered the position just because I was black. On top of this, I'm a true believer of God. I go to church for spiritual growth and I'm sure Obama does the same. I don't think that I will ever understand what race or what church you go to, or who even supporters you financially has anything to do with you as a person? I just think some people need to get their facts right about Obama.

I have watched, researched and read a lot about Hillary and Obama but I'm still not pursued to vote for no other than Obama. Obama represents a change outside of the norm. When I came into my position, I told myself that I wanted to represent my department in the best way possible and that sometimes, you can reach the overall objective of any job responsibility by initiating change and by working with your team. Some Americans are afraid of change or they have become so anesthetized to the norm that change would be abnormal. Obama presents himself very well as a solid leader. His methods in politics are direct and diplomatic. I believe that he will be the next President of the United States. I just wonder when all is said and done and Obama and McCain are the only two candidates left to vote for as the next President - who will the American voters stand behind? I do not want another 8 years of a candidate who will put our country in more financial debt or no new resolution plan for international affairs. Obama has my vote.
Obama camp's quiet offensive

The press and voters need to do more research on Obama’s background and voting record in Illinois, now that he is the front-runner. DIG DEEP, ASK HARD QUESTIONS.

We need someone who can handle the problems facing American families, like house foreclosures, health insurance, college tuition, gas prices, foreign enemies, etc.

Ask the tough questions. Vote with our heads.
