All kidding, First Read. It isthe longest ad buy I have heard of, if anything. I wonder if he is making lots of bucks by the hour. All he needs to do in OH and TX is to stay close to remain a frontrunner, while Hillary must win both states.
I feel sorry for Hillary, but she has been a very divisive candidate. Writting off a whole bunch of red states Obama won and lumping together his supporters into a single stereotype. That is what a polarizing leader does, one who creates ever greater division in our nation and the world. And a candidate who portrays herself or himself as a 'fighter' shows us that she or he will do the job of the presidency by fighting arrogantly like Bush, not rallying support and reaching out to all Americans and creating consensus, because America is not all Democratic or all Republicans; this is a country with so much diversity that even a fighter cannot control.

Did either of you mean that statement to come off like an insult to intelligent, inspirational women? Because it does.

If a younger Ann Richards with only a few years of gubernatorial experience was running against Hillary Clinton, based on a solid record of opposing Iraq, lobbyists, etc., she would beat Hillary in a landslide, drawing in Independents, Republicans, etc. And she would do it based on charm, personality, AND intellect.

Some people are just natural leaders... and many Americans don't get that sense from Hillary Clinton. Most Americans simply view complaints about the so-called unfairness of it all as sour grapes, which makes your candidate look, well... kinda whiny, really.

It is amazing to me that everyone loves a fighter except when the fighter is Hillary. She has taken the critics for years and continues to fight for people. It is not about Hillary noty having enough experience in comparison to a male, Settle. Don't be a sexist.
The problem is, American women know electing Hillary will have the appearance of a monarchy. Bush then Clinton, then Bush, and Clinton (and maybe Jeb Bush next) creates the look of a monarchy. Also, isntead of tring to portray herself as a formidable candidate, Hillary has become more and mroe polarizing that women have taken notice. Had she not been as polarizing as she is; had she not voted for the Iraq war and not allowed herself to surrender to the Republicans (Bush in particular); had she been more upfront and released her tax eturns and other essential documents; had she avoided using deceptive and divisive campaign tactics like politics of race, gender, tears, victim and so on; and had she better managed her campaign and cut on her strategist's undeserving high pay, Hillary Clinton would absolutely win the nomination and probably the presidency no matter what the hatemonging conservatives try to do in their quest to block democracy and equality.

That would be awesome, but I don't want to hype myself too much. If an Edwards endorsement ever does come, it would most probably be AFTER the Texas and Ohio primaries at this point. But if John wanted to stay relevant, he would do it before a big primary day, like the Monday before Ohio and Texas. Edwards is a great man and I want him to stay relevant. He could have a great career as Attorney General in an Obama Administration and we all know it. I'm convinced John has thought about this.

I think people should settle down and look at the reality of what is happening. Carlo, you are not the only educated, above average IQ person voting. You're right that Obama has the votes of the more educated but that doesn't make it the right decision. They are looking at the election from a totally different viewpoint and can probably relate with him as he is closer to their age. But please, don't tell me that many of his votes are not coming from a pied piper effect and people are just following along without thinking. The pied piper had ulterior motives and I know Obama's messages are not altruistic. He is as ambitious as any politician. He hasn't voted enough to even get a real feel for his honest stand on issues. If you think that he will do all that he says then you're not using that education you have. Anyone can promise and talk but they certainly can't make things happen. He will flounder around and our country will suffer greatly for it. Why he is in such a rush is rather curious. In 2004 he said he didn't have enough experience and that he would barely have a year in as senator if he were to run. Well, something changed. His friend and co-speech writer, who admitted they shared speeches won his bid for governor. Guess what, his term has been a failed one. His promises of bringing people together and getting things done has turned out to be "just words".
I will not put the fate of my country in the hands of someone who is untested and unknown. I will not go along with the other little mice and fall in line for his candidacy. I am amazed that people don't look at his rhetoric and see that it is impossible to do all that he says. I'm sorry, but Obama as president will be a disaster not because he isn't capable but because he is not ready. Give himself a few terms in the Senate to really see how things are done and build this coalition he talks about. Then, maybe, he could be a good president. Why he wants to rush into it is rather disconcerting and causes me to wonder why.

I'm really tired of people getting on here assuming that everyone who supports Obama is an idiot. Have you not seen the exit polls? Obama has a commanding lead among educated people. I'm with you Carlo in Louisianna. The Clinton 'down-scale' voters are quick to say or insinuate that Obama supporters are dumb. Are we dumb BECAUSE we have the ability to discern that Clinton lacks integrity? One issue that has really been bothering me: NAFTA, you know the NORTH AMERICA Fair Trade Agreement!
If I read one more post from an Obama supporter that refers to "sending our jobs overseas" or tainted imports from China being caused by NAFTA I will give up on hope completely.
NAFTA only includes NORTH AMERICA! The USA, Canada and Mexico !!! Obama ads imply that it is global.
Obviously not all Obama supporters have 140+ IQ's and some Hillary supporters are actually MENSA members.

Before you go about insulting others, you might want to educate yourself to what is really happening out there. Motivated by cheap Mexican labor, little safety over-site and inspection, and weak environmental regulations in Mexico, shippers are sending goods from Asia to Mexican ports. They then ship those goods into Texas and then to anywhere in U.S. and Canada. NAFTA is what is allowing this. China and any other country can ship it's goods into Mexico, get around our port inspections, and ship the goods into the US by way of the NAFTA agreement. It's costing us jobs in US ports across the country, as well as allowing the flow of potentially dangerous items to be shipped into the US. The border agents can not come close to checking the millions of shipments coming across the Mexico/US border in the same way they could check those shipments as they went through customs in a US port.

Companies are most definately moving their operations overseas. They then ship the items to Mexico, pay less wages to dock workers, less port fees, etc. Then ship the stuff right up to the US by way of NAFTA.

Hillary had the edge from day one, with the Clinton dynasty, the Clinton machine. When Obama surprised the shoe-in "incumbent like" hillary, the tantrums began. First everyone was "piling on" the little woman Bill said, then it was the race "code words" by Bill. She has tried and tried to raise her experience, yet she can't run a well put together campaign! They tried to squelch the nevada primaries with a lawsuit. They sent Chelsea out to campaign with no interviews, not even to a 10 yr old! When she lost Iowa, the voters were "peculiar". Every other primary she las lost, she ignored her supporters in that state, did not concede, pretended like it never happened. Which is viewed as incredibly rude and arrogant! Then, the media has been biased, and given Obama a free ride. Then, she "always gets the qustion FIRST!" WAHHHH... GIVE ME A BREAK! They said before the last debate, it was gonna be the kitchen sink debate! She has whined and complained about everyone and everything, and it's alway poor Hillary! Does that sound like an International leader? Has she sounded "Presidential", able to control a national catastrophe? She can't go one day without whining about something isn't fair???
