McCain needs to take a risk and debate Huckabee. If he does, he could end up helping Mike because Huckabee always surged in the polls after all the debates except for the one is SC. The problem for McCain is that if he doesn't debate Huckabee, many of us Huckabots are going to have a hard time voting for him in the fall. We already feel like we have been kicked to the back of the bus by the establishment and are ready to bolt from the party. McCain's refusal to acknowledge Huckabee's challenge just makes people like me feel like I don't belong in the GOP.

I am very disappointed in Hagee. I feel he has betrayed the principles he preaches. This is pure politics. It looks like he just went along to get along -- I wonder what promises McCain made to him?? It amazes me that a pastor can abandon his principles and play politics!

And, what is wrong with McCain. This is still the Primary season. Voters are still waiting to cast their votes. Are they all insignificant to McCain? He's making deals with Politicians and Preachers, but he's not willing to have a Face to Face debate with Huckabee? What is he afraid of? And, why should we support someone too afraid to debate a Political Challenger? I find it unamerican! I am outraged at the statement this makes to our young people. It smacks of a "fixed" election.

It appears McCain is happy to tell the American People, "it's over", "I won". I thought we decided this at our National Convention, when the 1,191 votes are actually counted. As of now, I see far too many UNBOUND delegates in play to call this race for McCain. And, I predict that the GOP will not nominate him at the Convention. His lead was procured by votes from LIBERAL BLUE states. States that will never vote for a Republican President. However, all Huckabee's wins were in RED states. States that WILL vote for a Republican President. These are the states we need to carry in November. McCain does not have their support!! The GOP Delegates know this and will vote accordingly at the Convention. So, McCain will loose on the Convention floor. That's why he doesn't want to go to convention and that's why he doesn't want to debate. He knows his message will not sell to Conservative Republicans!

Actually, any candidate has the right to determine where he speaks and with whom he debates. The Republican nomination process is over and the Republicans had better just rally around McCain or they are sunk. McCain's peccadillo aside, the brunt of that story is not about how he was aligned with a woman not his wife, but how he was connecting and doing lobbying for a lobbyist that was represented by that particular woman. I am so upset with McCain no policy on health care and economy. He only knows war and foreign policy which will not give us food on the table and treatment when we become ill. What substances he talks about other than staying 100 years in Iraq.
Does anyone have any clue that every month we are spending about 10-15 billion dollars to Iraq war and empting out our domestic economy? Are people like McCain supporters are crazy that they become blindfold and they are not seeing the difference? Are they are so dumb that they want to repeat last 8 years of Bush legacy? Recently John McCain said that “we have the best health care system in the world”, this may be true statements for him because some privileged like him can have the access to it. What happens to millions of Americans when they are out of reach of this so called best health care because either the premium is too high or the insurance company is denying the health coverage for the pre-existing conditions? What is McCain’s position to fix this problem which has crippled our access to health care system?

I am not anti-religious; no, in fact I subscribe to an ecumenical Christian denomination, and yet I certainly would never attempt to use my religion to sway others to follow my political preference. How people such as Huckabee can get up on a stage and declare that they would change the Constitution of the U.S. to more closely resemble the Word of God is sad, repugnant and appalling. Mr. Huckabee God doesn’t vote Democrat, Republican or Independent and I am terribly sorry to inform you of that fact. If your spouse is a physical threat to you or your children you must leave the spouse but nothing allows you to re-marry as long as that spouse is still alive if you are a true Christian. Since McCain left his first wife for Cindy it is pretty obvious who did the fornicating (like Rreagan). There is nothing religious or right about adultry and having two living spouses may be leagal by government standards, it is not acceptable if you are a Christian. But now, when Huckabee decides to run his campaign to be a voice for many of us who believe in conservative principles, "they say" he's doing it for some selfish motive. "They say" he should drop out. "They say" he should stop talking or giving people a choice because MAYBE he's "disunifying" the GOP. "They say" he should play nice with the big boys.
What would have happened had we just "played nice" with the aristocrats who told us to lay down our guns at the Battle of Lexington in 1775? What would have happened had we just "played nice" with the powerful in the South who liked slavery back in the 1860s? What would have happened had we just "played nice" when everyone in Europe said to look the other way during the Holocaust (oh yes, we did from 1938 to 1941, and 6 million innocent lives were lost.)
What would have happened had Martin Luther King Jr. decided to "just play nice" with American leaders who said that racism was an American institution?
Leaders are never popular when they do what is right. They are always thrown under then buses of the powerful.

That shouldn't stop us from living and acting free.

Yes, I went to McCain's website.you're right!One supporter had mentioned about Jesus or God.Oh my, one of the bloggers didn't like the statement this guy posted .I'm not a ranger,but I like reading some comments in Huckabee's blog.Some of the bloggers are not even Christians,but they get along well with the Christain bloggers.What a testimony.Keep up the good work Huckabee supporters.I'm sure some Hagee's members won't vote for McCain anyway.

"Calling Pastor John Hagee a "bigot," the conservative Catholic League is calling for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., to denounce/renounce/reject his endorsement Wednesday.

With a Youtube link to prove his point, Catholic League president Bill Donohue said Hagee "has waged an unrelenting war against the Catholic Church. For example, he likes calling it ‘The Great Whore,’ an ‘apostate church,’ the ‘anti-Christ,’ and a ‘false cult system.’ ...“Senator Obama has repudiated the endorsement of Louis Farrakhan, another bigot. McCain should follow suit and retract his embrace of Hagee.”

Anyone interested in joining me in a class action law suit against the Republican Party for creating and allowing a sham primary where most of the Republican primary voters have been locked out? The censorship of Huckabee is blatent and undemocratic. There has been a virtual news blackout on his candidacy since "Sham Super Tuesday." The way the whole primary method is constructed disenfranchises a majority of states. I want to sue the Republican Party using the Civil Rights Act of 1965. Any takers?
