I see the other campaign doing anything and saying everything to win.

Clinton campaign is without morrality. How can people want someone leading our country, who is deceptive, doesn't stop at anything to get a result, rearranges truths, has no respect the vote of the people of america, and will risk degrading a fellow democrat in order to get what SHE wants?

Hillary is not for the people. She is for herself. She basically says, all of these votes, that people have taken the time to register, doesn't mean anything, it's up to a handful of americans to decide who gets the nomination. WRONG! Then, why did we vote???

This is a model of how she will carry on business. SHE WILL ONLY RECOGNIZE, RESPECT, AND TAKE ACTION FOR THOSE WHO SHE DEEMS ARE IMPORTANT TO HER AND HER INTEREST. The usual protocol in Washington.

Hillary is not running to lead the people. She is not running for the people. She's running for herself and her glory. That's why she doesn't care what she says about Obama. When you have no scruples, your hands aren't tied on any mode of operation; just, whatever works.

I do not trust Hillary. I see that she is fairly underhanded, and manipulative. She is divisive. She ignores whatever isn't appealing to her own interests.

I don't think Obama is so great, but, he holds himself to more of a professional and dignified call to leadership. I believe he cares about what he says, and want just say anything. I believe that what comes out of his mouth, is not just a manipulative ploy. I believe that Obama transcends the usual protocol of politics. I believe that he has a connection and understands what the MAJORITY of voters want.

A Huck of a run

Who's the Huckster kidding? Mc Wars has been running as unopposed as Hugo Chavez and Kim Jong Il for weeks now. He's just been the warm-up act to keep the restless voters entertained.
I never listen to these jerks, but what are guys like Lush Rimjob saying NOW about Mc Hundred Years' War? Is he still too liberal for the GOP?

A Huck of a run

Ken, what does this have to do with Huckabee?

Spammer.

A Huck of a run

Leaving my polling place yesterday I met a woman who was bemoaning her vote. "I wish I hadn't voted like that", she said. "Why", I asked. I think the vote split in South Carolina did destroy Huckabee's chances at the nomination but there is no sense in dwelling on it now. Governor Huckabee's message presented fresh ideas about how to run the country and always stayed positive. A Huckabee-Obama general election would have been magic, and as it is now we may even get McCain-Clinton, more of the same, after all of this talk of change. Obama is my only horse left in the race, but I would be a fervent supporter of Governor Mike Huckabee for president were he to run again. May God continue to bless America.

A Huck of a run

Huckabee/Paul -- so the non-warmonger Republicans can have real conservatives to vote for.

A Huck of a run

Mr. Mccain,

If you don't pick Huckabee as your VP then I will not vote. I am only interested in voting for Huckabee.

If you pick Huckabee I will also help you as a supporter. I will wave McHuckabee signs, make youtube videos, write letters to the editor, and make thousands of phone calls for you guys.

If you want the help of people like me and Huck's Army, you need to keep our candidate in the race.

Sincerely,

Dan Campbell

A Huck of a run

I was calling Huckabee's name as my candidate when people were quizzically saying "Mike who?" While I am proud of Huck's work overall, he lost my support when I found major differences in his campaign position on illegal immigration compared to his stated position on the same topic in his book entitled "From Here to Higher Ground" which was published in January of 2007. That''s a good thing! I know what I want to fight for: the FairTax, illegal immigration reform and border security (I believe it should be a state issue now), Second Amendment rights, American sovereignty, addressing our aging infrastructure, an accelerated program to energy independence...and Mike Huckabee.
This country bought into the stereotype, and never bothered to research Governor Huckabee''s stands on the issues- I know it, because I''ve encountered so many narrow-minded people in blogs all over the ''net. We lost an opportunity to nominate the Real Deal, and that so seldom comes along. We lost an opportunity to elect a President with excellent ideas for America''s future success, and the ability to brilliantly articulate them. We lost a true leader who is capable of uniting us and inspiring us to greatness.
I will stop yelling at the TV soon, I''m sure. McCain. If anybody deserved the GOP nom. it is him. Best of luck to his campaign.

A Huck of a run

He had indicated pretty much if he lost South Carolina, he'd be out, and ya know if we had won South Carolina, I think we'd be on the way to the nomination,” he said.

If he would have done like he said and stopped after South Carolina then Romney would have won Florida and we Republicans would have a nominee worth rallying around. Way to go Huckabee(notice his likeness to Gomer Pyle both in speech and looks) you ruined it for the rest of us.

A Huck of a run

Speaking to reporters during the flight, Huckabee said the handwriting was indeed on the wall.

“Clearly, things didn't go our way tonight as we had hoped they would, but when the inevitable is staring you in the face, you accept it, and that's why I feel like it's time to realize we've made the best effort we can,”

Only about a month after the rest of us.

A Huck of a run

Mary- too bad that woman never learned to think for herself. I'm not a Huck fan at all (or a McCain fan), but I think it's truly a sad day in America when people act against their own instinct/best judgement because of what someone else told them to do. Freedom is what America is all about. Too many people act like sheep and follow the "crowd", especially when it comes to politics... Perhaps this experience will teach her to take the time to educate herself on the issues/candidates and vote by her own heart and mind and not as a robot for her pastor next time around.

One can only hope!!!

A Huck of a run

If you consider where Romney ended (before he passed delegates on to McCain), he ended with over 280 delegates. According to Real Clear Politics, Huck ended with 267, and according to CNN 270. The writing was on the wall a LONG time ago!

All of the "fallen" candidates have "if only" stories like Huck does in SC... (Thompson- if only Huck hadn't entered and I had acted alive, I'd have been the conservative choice; Romney- if only I'd won in NH or IA, I'd have had a better shot; Ron Paul- if only another 30 or 40% of republicans had joined the "revolution"...) but most of them stepped aside when the writing was put on the wall, not after the paint started to chip and fade.

Nevertheless, good luck to Huck with his career with the Rolling Stones... although they may not be comfortable with his preachy style- doesn't really match them! :)

A Huck of a run

I will devote my life to making sure that Mike Huckabee doesn't get anywhere near the Oval Office. I may not agree with all of his stances but it is wonderful to see a gentleman with grace and humility after months of campaigning. I think MCCain should seriously consider him for his Veep.
