The precinct I voted in was right in the middle of what has been considered a Republican stronghold here in Fort Worth. But after last night's experience, I am fully convinced that whoever wins the Democratic nomination will become the next President of the United States of America. I base this on the observation that only three people showed up at the Republican caucus I attended, compared to about two hundred participants who showed up at the Democratic caucus held in the same precinct. All the enthusiasm demonstrated at the polling place was on behalf of the Democratic candidates, and even the three of us who were at the Republican caucus wished we were attending the Democratic caucus because of the excitement being generated there. There was absolutely no enthusiasm being shown on behalf of McCain at the Republican caucus. I was there on behalf of Mike Huckabee, and this was the first Republican caucus I have ever attended. I was disappointed to realize that on the Republican side, Texas is a winner-take-all state, and that my support for Huckabee at the caucus counted for nought! We were adjourned within 30 mins of convening, whereas the Democratic caucus went on for hours! If this is any indication at all, then the excitement generated by the Democratic ticket in November will overwhelm the demonstrated apathy surrounding the Republican nominee, and the Democrats will take back the White House in a winning vote of landslide proportions, especially if they can fashion a super dream ticket of Clinton/Obama or vice versa!

McCain wraps it up

"My friends, there WILL be more wars!" What do you think Bush's Octoliber Surprise is going to be, as a gift to John W. "More Wars" McCain and UNable? An invasion of Iran, or a war with Syria? Let the betting begin!!

McCain wraps it up

Class Warrior: It is dullwitted in the extreme to compare McCain, who was one of seven GOP candidates, and who you youself claimed was ''gone''only short months ago,who also ran in free and fair contests,to these other totalitarian dictators and puppets.
