Why does the Clinton campaign have to prepare any tax returns other than for this previous year? Why are the tax returns between the White House days and now still being held and not disclosed?

And they AREN'T being released, right? I don't see how that's a "false" attack...

Nor do I see how Obama can "disclose" ties with Rezko, when no ties to legislative favors ever existed. Hillary's tax returns exist, don't they? Those can still be released... unless, of course, they were shredded?

Last year's taxes are not required to be filed until April 15th of this year and after spending 63 million dollars to investigate Whitewater, Ken Starr and his Republican crew couldn't find any wrong doing by the Clintons, so they spread rumors. Believe me, if they could have found something, they would have prosecuted!
Obama did go on record stating absolutely NO meeting ever took place between anyone from his campaign and Canadian officials, until the memo of that meeting was released. Obama then recanted, stating he had not been informed about the meeting. Obama is the one that actually attacked Hillary via flyers regarding NAFTA in the first place; therefore, Hillary's campaign had every right to respond to what appeared to be blatant hypocrisy. It is sad and pathetic that Senator Clinton, her campaign and her supporters think it is just fine that she cannot grow her supporters, she can only attack and hope to decrease Senator Obama's. Check out those polls folks-- see any upward movement for Senator Clinton? There isn't any.

As for taking on the Republicans, Senator McCain has more class than Senator Clinton. I don't think he would say "as far as he knew" Senator Obama was not a Muslim. Senator Clinton simply projects her own flaws onto Senator Obama and Senator Obama is still a relative unknown to many voters. Just wait, as more people research, think and watch, Senator Obama's enthusiastic support will continue to grow. Senator Clinton's will continue to shrink.

In the end, Senator Obama will defeat Senator McCain roundly. Check out head to head match-ups. Senator Obama does better against Senator McCain in California than Senator Clinton. Senator Obama BEATS Senator McCain in Virginia; while Senator Clinton loses. Senator Obama is within the margin of error in so-called red states like Kansas and Nebraska; whereas Senator Clinton is no where close to victory there. Senator Clinton does do slightly better against Senator McCain in New York, but then Senator Obama also defeats Senator McCain in double digits in New York and Massachusetts.

Go to realclear politics, check it out. Senator Obama can win 54%+ in a general election. Senator Clinton would be lucky to get 50+. Her unfavorables are simply too high. Senator Obama will have coattails and extend Democratic representation in the House and Senate; on the otherhand, Senator Clinton will have no coattails, Republican turn-out will surge to stop her candidacy and Democrats might lose seats.

If people truly care about this Country they should let go of this ridiculous notion that it is Senator Clinton's "turn." It is never anyone's turn. Time to start speaking the truth. If Senator Clinton can set forth a case for why she should be President, let her do so. If she cannot, she should go home. Attacking a fellow Democrat will only increase the chance that the Democratic party once more steals defeat from the jaws of victory. Let me also say that it wasnt the commercial that helped her win. Look how much critisism it got in the press. It was the SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE skit. It showed the momentary human side of her. Why is it that the press is presuading the American people by saying, "I think this" and "I think that"? The presses JOB is to give us information NOT their opinions. The Clinton campaign accusing Obama of false attacks?

Hillary attacked Obama on the Canada NAFTA rumor which has since been debunked by the CBC as a purposeful smear campaign. Clinton and McCain both used these *rumors* to attack Obama's credibility, rather than wait for the evidence. Though there's no way to determine the amount of impact that this had on voting in Ohio and Texas, so let's just assume that it was significant, based on the amount of media coverage that played into the story.

Is this the kind of judgment she has? She judges rumors to be true and uses them in her campaign's attacks on Obama? That is exactly the kind of judgment that got us into Iraq in the first place.

Since becoming a member of the Senate, you have voted almost identically with her in votes regarding Iraq. You also have a questionable record both in your State Senate and Federal Senate capacity of either not being present for the tough votes, or in some cases using excuses like you pushed the wrong button. Give me a break. When you did and do have the opportunity to show your leadership skills, for example with your leadership position in the Senate Committee that should be holding oversight meetings in regards to Afghanistan, guess what - you're ABSENT again. I am amazed that you would actually portray this as your "judgment" to make the right decisions for this great country. What about your top economic advisor meeting with the Canadians to give them the old "wink - wink" in regards to NAFTA. The tax returns in question are LAST YEARS not this years. They have been prepared and filed. How hard is it to open a filing cabinet, take them out, copy them and send them out?

As for Resko, the aforementioned link should answer just about anyone's questions. Nobody is asking for anything beyond Hillary's tax returns so I don't see where Obama needs to submit anything additional regarding a legal real-estate transaction. A private business transaction is just that-private. By extending Wolfson's logic, Obama should demand to see Bills records regarding his deals in the Middle-East and Kazakistan.

Personally, I am still wondering if there is a connection between the Canadian businessman behind the Kazak deal and the "leaked" NAFTA memo.

I find it enormously hypocritical that many HRC supporters, who rightfully complain about the Republicans unfair smears of the Clintons, Gore and Kerry, not only are willing to accept, but actually enthusiastically embrace the same type of conduct by their candidate. Ultimately our party loses and our country looses, as more people give up on the political process and stay home. Obama is trying to show us a new way. We can be strong without being dirty. Obama has not been accsued of any wrong doing in the Rezko case. He is not on any witness list for this trial . Plus he returned the money associated with Rezko fundraising. Hillary on the other hand, says that the fundraising 170,000, she received from a company where many of the employees are currently under investigation for sexual harassment. Her reason is it is ONLY a trial, nobody is guilty yet .

If everyone in government was called to task to explain everytime they KNEW someone who was corrupt, Congress and the white house would be empty in 5 minutes.

I don't see what the big deal is about tax returns, especially considering they file finance statements every year because she is a senator. So, their tax records have been available for 1991 through 1999 or 2000 because Bill was president. And after that Hillary has had to file finance statements because she was Senator.

The Press should be doing its job !!! We can't rely on the candidates to expose themselves ... that's the job of the Media ... and they are failing miserably. Is there any way to start a movement/petition/surge to insist that they get started NOW ? They have delayed long enough. We are supposed to have a free and fair press ... where are the investigative reporters??
