The question remains though, why none of the television media have seen fit to cover this. The information coming from Clinton was actually just the beginning and the Canadian government now intends to conduct a high level investigation into what the PM characterizes as grossly unfair to Barack Obama (regarding the entire incident). If the Canadian television networks see this as a big deal as the latest report from CTV indicates, why not the American networks? Maine caucus: Obama +6 delegates
Ohio/VT/RI/Texas primaries where Clinton had "big wins": Clinton +6 delegates.

Clinton is toast. She should drop out now because if they have revotes in Michigan and Florida she's not going to gain much ground and this whole race will turn ugly and nasty and will make it more likely that McCain will be President. I already have Independent voter friends who are giving McCain a second look and saying they're fed up with the Clinton/Obama fights.

The strange thing about this story is that it was the Obama economic advisor that met with the Canadian officials in Canada. If you recall, Obama denied the meeting and had to later fess up. Keith O. on MSNBC reported this fairly, and he seemed to be disgusted with what the Clinton campaign has done. Do not be surprised that this is not being widely reported. Media bias for sure. I have stopped watching a lot of journalists because they obviously have hidden agendas in supporting Republicans. News is being filtered to favor and protect certain candidates. hmm why has MSNBC not posted my commments telling everyone this is an old news story from mid Feb that was recycled. Everyone needs to do their research. It was found that no one could name anyone they spoke with in the Clinton Campaign and they could name specifically parties involved with the Obama campaign. Let'snot make judgements made by media sound bites against either candidate. As Americians we should due our due dillegence and not believe everything the media tells us. Make an educated choice!

That said, the first I heard about this was on "First Read" last night the fact that it was not given the same coverage as the Obama campaign's Canadian contact is highly suspect...especially considering the serious implications in terms of skewing the Ohio vote...and…one can’t even find the story on MSNBC today, even via a search. I was only able to access it thought the link I had saved.

However, this A.M....the big news instead on NBC and MSNBC was the "Monster" story....

I find it very suspect indeed that when Hillary uses best defense as an offense in order to avoid answering direct questions and to camouflage the fact that she has no substance, she is categorized as a "fighter".

However, when Obama counters with a reasonable request (e.g. tax returns) the press crucifies him, categorizing a simple question as an "attack", and pontificates non stop about him failing to remain above the “fray”

MSNBC and NBC appears to be doing their best to perpetuate the old party system of dirty politics...because "reality" is what sells.

IMO, Obama's real problem is not Hillary; it's the press...who gives her credibility by refusing to question any of her bogus claims and statements...but blames Obama for doing so.

They have positioned him as damned if he does damned if he doesn't....but with Hillary, they seem to always have an excuse or spin.

This is not true of all the press but I am deeply disappointed in MSNBC/NBC in that they have relegagted this story to not much more than a blip ....but Hillary's claim regarding Obama on NAFTA was conveniently EVERYWHERE, 24/7...right before the Ohio/Texas primary.

I contacted MSNBC via telephone today to ask why such a vast difference in coverage. I was told I could voice an opinion on the “opinion line”.

When I explained that I was not voicing an opinion yet…that I wanted to know why there was such a huge difference in the coverage, I was transferred to the opinion line as my “answer”.

This seems crazy! Why is this story not being doggedly pursued by all journalists, this story probably had an impact on the votes of Ohio and Texas...this is a quest for the presidency we are talking about. I want to know what really happened and why the substitution of Obama for Clinton's name, it's not like they sound alike. Why hasn't there been an official retraction from the Canadian journalist who mis-reported the names and why isn't the American press after this hot and heavy? No matter who made the call and no matter which candidate ends up looking bad, I want to know what happened.
