Personally, I don't think Senator Clinton has passed the Commander in Chief test. However, my test is a little different. How does the candidate handle pressure? Senator Obama is cool and calm under pressure. Senator Clinton-- not so much. What judgments have they made in the past? Senator Obama was against running the bus into a ditch by going to war in Iraq. Senator Clinton spoke decisively about the wisdom of her vote before voting to go to war in Iraq -- interesting how that speech gets disregarded now by the press and she is allowed to claim that speech didn't count.

As for speeches, what is Senator Clinton doing exactly-- if she isn't giving speeches, what is she doing? What did Senator Clinton achieve in the Senate-- not much. What did she achieve as First Lady -- not healthcare reform. Where is her transparency? I can already tell her campaign is only going to release tax returns for 2007, not 2000-2006. Some transparency. Where are the records from the White House showing she has done anything? They are being held back by former President Bill Clinton.

If experience is so important, why choose someone inexperienced to be a "heart beat away from the Presidency"? What does this say about HRC's concern for the country and its safety?

Has HRC passed the "Commander-in-Chief" test? If so, when? Sitting in on your husband's meetings, even contributing to them, is hardly a stellar recommendation, particularly since her opinions and actions with regard to things like health care and NAFTA do not seem to have worked. Is experience in losing a recommendation?

This is simply a blatant attempt to use the so-called "dream ticket" in order to try to entice voters and, particularly, pledged and super delegates to consider or reconsider HRC again and to place Obama in a difficult position. If he flat-out refuses, he seems not to work and play well with others. Plus, the chances of HRC's actually doing this should she get the nomination are very, very remote considering she will have a de facto VP in Bill.

I think the media should press hard on forcing congress and the senate to subpoena Clinton's memos from the Clinton library to confirm her alleged experience and involvement in policy making decisions. Should it be determined that she and Bill have in fact made material misrepresentations, this could lead up to Hillary possibly being disbarred or grounds for disqualification as a candidate during the general election. Furthermore, Hillary is not the only Clinton running for office, I don't understand why the media is so light on Bill and his business dealings. Oh, and by the way, stow this Clinton-generated "big state" garbage. States that were reliably Democratic in the past will be so in November 2008. Additionally, don't Virginia, Maryland and Wisconsin count as important states? a) His "lead" in the popular vote consists of states in which there were both primaries and caucuses, which means that some people's votes were counted TWICE.
b)Caucuses are not an accurate way to judge a particular state party's desires because of the various ways they can be manipulated.
c)Independents and republicans have participated in caucuses and some primaries. But, this is the Democratic nomination we're talking about here. If independents and GOP types want to vote for our candidate in the fall, that's fine.
But when it comes to nominating our party's candidate, the wishes of independents and republicans should come secondary to the wishes of the core voters who are registered with The Democratic Party.

I want to know why you haven't asked about favors for donations to the clinton library.

I want to know why you allow the clintons to continue to say they won texas (and say it yourselves) when it's become evident she did not.

I want to know why you'll rip into the Obama camp for days following the "monster" comment, but won't ask the clintons why for all their offensive and controversial comments they don't ask guilty parties to step down - or even distance themselves from those remarks.
Ask about Peter Paul or the hundreds of thousands of dollars donated from an anti-semetic filmmaker!!

Perhaps above all, why have you allowed the clinton campaign to make the argument they've "won the states (big) that matter" without completely ripping into them for discounting DOZENS of other states and millions of voters as unimportant and unnecessary!!

The Clintons are trying to play the American people for fool. They treat us like we can't see what is going on. Obama is beating both of them in almost every contest. Every chance they get they try and undermine Obama and they mock the voters by saying that only the states that they have won matters. Now they are not only snakes but they are trying to sell us snake oil as well. Obama dosen't need Hillary to win the election. Obama is winning this race the only way Hillary can catch Obama is if she steals the nomination! Obama will be the next President and someone other than Hillary will be his VP. The point here is that Obama has the new voters who are not as partisan as Clinton's seasoned party faithfull. Clinton supporters would bite their lip and vote for Obama in the GE if he is the nominee. I don't believe Obama's support are quite as supportive of the Democrats, and therefore Hillary (if nominated) would have a tougher time against McCain.

I very much doubt you would see a joint ticket between these two. Obama would tarnish his brand, and jeopordise another run in 2012. Clinton would not be offered the VP role by Obama.

It certainly feels like Hillary is the person being treated with kid gloves in this election. The media and the Clinton Campaign folks are grabbing at straws to find dirt on Obama. Truth be told, one only needs to research Monsanto, Mena AR, Peter Paul, and Accoona, just to name a few. The media helps Hillary escape corruption, scandal, and bad press.

One can see the desperation...

If Billary were STEAL the nomination Obama is her only real choice for VP. The ONLY chance to reunite(at least somewhat) the party.

It could round out her ticket with the Positives that it is lacking. It LIFTS her chances of winning the presidency. It also doesn't fly in the face of Obama's canditacy, with a simple statement of bringing change from the VP role. Also setting him up for 2016. I don't see her beating McCain otherwise.
That said, with Billary on the top of the ticket, Repubs are handed their UNITED base. A Down-ticket nightmare.

With the shoe on the other(legitimate nomination)foot,
Obama CAN NOT choose Billary. This does not round His ticket what so ever, nor does it hand him a state that he isn't otherwise going to win (NY is true blue, I concede MAYBE Arkansas may flip if Huckabee is NOT on the repub ticket). Gov. Richarson is a good choice, although Secretary of State seems Ideal for him(and the country) Sen Biden would round out the foriegn policy end of things, although again Secretary of State seems appropriate as well. Tim Kaine of VA would be a great pick bringing VA into the blue column. 2 Young up-and-coming dems(one Sen., one Gov.) worked well in 1992. Robert Reich, Sec. of Treasury during Bill Clinton might be prudent given the economy issues, but not so well known. Any of these choices is better for down ticket Dems.

I'd like to think that Billary sees the writing on the wall. I'd like to think she is doing Dem's a favor by bringing up Repub style attacks against Obama to help strengthen his operation as well as making lines of attack, "Old News". I know they are true dem's and they see the AGED makeup of the Supreme Court, and the tenuous hold on congressional majorities that are apparent to anyone paying attention I can't allow myself to think otherwise.
