In the last 24 hours Geraldine Ferraro (Hillary Clinton's surrogate) has suggested that Barack Obama has somehow benefitted from, for lack of a better word, "Political Affirmative Action." That because Sen. Obama is black that those of us that support him are just "caught up in the concept". This is how far this process has devolved. We have come to a point where Hillary Clinton's surrogates, Democrats so we are told, are reducing this to no more than a tired, OLD argument that we are voting for an unqualified candidate only because he is black.

If this was the general election I do not believe that the Republican candidate would stoop to such a level. Imagine the furor we would hear from the Clinton campaign if an Obama surrogate said the only reason people were supporting Hillary Clinton is because she is a woman.

Hillary should demand that Ms. Ferraro step down from her position in her campaign. Senator Obama has accepted the resignation of Samantha Power for calling Hillary a monster. The comment from Ms. Ferraro was further over the line than Ms. Power's and it is time for her to own it and resign.

REGARDLESS of the catastrophe that is Iraq, McCain is the only qualified candidate in the race in terms of military AND law-making experience. Maybe not the best person we could have as President, but the best one of these three.

It's nice to believe in hope and change and peace when we're the only ones starting wars, but what happens if there IS a conventional war? What happens if there IS a standing army threatening us or our allies? Do you want someone with no military experience OR training whatsoever to handle that? Obama was saying in Wyoming on Friday that he voted against the war in 2002, 2003. 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008. (He called out the year literally one by one.) The truth is that 2002 was a speech. He didn't have to vote for the war in 2003. When he got in the Senate, he voted for funding the war in 2004, 2005 & 2006.

What he has been saying doesn't appear to be what you really mean from NFTA to end the war. His voting records might have suggested that he might not had voted against the war if he had to vote. He would prefer to vote "present" if there is an option.

I HOPE the media will quit trying to make this campaign about race. I know this will sound tongue in cheek but please think about it. In my state of Ohio, Hillary won all the Republican counties and Barack Obama squeaked out the Democratic ones. What does this tell you?? The republicans are trying to pick the Democratic nominee. I have first hand knowledge that the voters of Ohio who were registered Republicans voted for HIllary. Poll workers will tell you the same. This is where I may offend people and I apologize up front. It is a well known fact that most Republicans are white. This would account for the high white/black divide among the candidates. Check the records for registered voters in the last 4 elections and tell us the % of republicans who voted for Hillary. Subtract this number from the total vote. What would the outcome be?? My guess is the polls would be a lot different. How many of the people polled were prior Republicans before this vote?? Are they the ones who said they believe Obama is not ready? The republicans are smart people and they know how to divide the democratic party--have them go after each other. Hillary played right into their little game. Now with the help of Rush and all the other pundits out there just drooling at the thought of this nomination primary continuing, a rift is building in the democratic party and we need to stop the momentum and put an end to Hillarys hateful ways. Remember negativity begets more negativity while positivity requires repetitive actions to reinforce itself.

Thank you Obama staff for finally bringing to light that her 35 years of experience began at age 25 when she doing what???? Thank you for taking a more vocal approach in this campaign
