"Experience" is clearly in McCain's column. Clinton cannot win that battle.

And when Geraldine Ferraro made a comment LAST week about Obama being a lucky black man, if he was a WHITE man he wouldn't be where he is now...." The Clinton spokesperson said YESTERDAY "We don't agree with her".
BIG difference between the THREE campaigns and how they react to negative, degrading words used by supporters!

When you want to find the truth of a situation, it's good to try to find the points that both sides can agree on. And by both sides I mean the polled supporters of each candidate.

By doing that myself, I see a couple of things. People believe that Hillary is more experienced and has more detailed ideas about how to get us back on track as a nation. Barack scores higher on reaching across the aisle and bringing people together. Which sounds to me like Hilary should be in the lead setting policy and Barack should be the Vice President who goes out using all that natural charm to try and win support for Hillary's policies. Hillary is certainly not suited to winning people over. Barack has no policy ideas.

Obama knows that we have grossly neglected the needs of America’s poor – especially health care needs. Republican tax cuts and spending have grossly undermined our financial capacity to address national needs of any kind – even defense.
When Obama implies that he can sit down with the likes of James Inhofe or Mitch McConnell and end our political polarization, he insults my intelligence and misleads the public … he creates “false hope” and indulges in “fantasy”.
Obama is presenting himself as a transformational leader. The only transformational President in the last 100 years was Franklin Roosevelt. Did he sit down with Herbert Hoover and Alf Landon and end the political polarization as a way to effect that transformation? Don’t think so.

It is strange to me that Hillary thinks she can offer the VP position to Obama when even after supposedly winning the Texas primary, she fell even further behind in the delegate count. If he stays no worse than 10 points behind or even less in Pennsylvania if he loses there, and in any other primary that is left which he loses, he will suffer little ior no loss of his lead. Evan a 55% to 45% Clinton win in Pennsylvania means that Obama will pick up about 71 delegates to Hillary getting 87, or an 11 delegate reduction in his lead; and North Carolina, with its large African American population looms. If Florida and Michigan get some kind of redos, now, there is no assurance that Hillary can win them in a big way or even at all if Obama campaigns in both, and is on the ballot in both. Michigan too has a large African-American population. Hillary needs to keep quiet about making Obama her VP. He's still winning, and no matter how much Clinton argues, he will have the lead in total delegates and the popular vote when the convention comes.

As a Canadian not effected by the outcome, I find the race quite entertaining. I can't remember another race that has created such a stir. I would probably vote for Obama because I think he honestly presents the best chance for change. Why can we afford all we have yet can't afford to help countries who are looking to Venezuela for help and we have nearly lost any influence in South American because of our neglect? Do we only face more of the same speeches and the same negative comments from fans about the each of the candidates who both could serve the country well? Why not spend our energy calling them to task for not sticking to issues that will matter for generations to come? *She has experience in dealing with and being a part of political turmoil and scandal (check)

*She has experience on basically giving G.W. Bush the same authorization to lay the foundation for pre-emptive military tactics against Iran that he did with Iraq (check)

*She has experience in being DIVISE (just for the heck of it sometimes) towards those who she now has to HOPE will work with her, so that she will have an EFFECTIVE presidency, IF she is to one day become President (a.k.a. the Republicans) (check)

*She has experience in initiating a piece of legistlation (a.k.a. the bankruptcy bill), that she HOPED would not pass. Which, in itself is bizarre! WHO DOES THAT? Who becomes a part of something intially, that they would like to see fail, eventually??? Anyway... (check)

*She has experience in mismanaging her own campaign and it's finances, so she had to contribute $5 million to said campaign because she assumed, "this would all be over by Feb 5th" (check)....

*...Which brings me to another point...she has experience in arrogance and making hasty and naive assumptions (check)...

*Ok people, sarcasm aside (however those things are TRUE), we all have to keep in mind that there must be something to SHOW for the experience one possess. Having just YEARS of experience behind you is nothing and means nothing. There is such thing/person as an "old fool". A person's (or this case a candidates) JUDGEMENT is what is important. No President, unless he or she was Vice President previously, has had "experience" being the President until they BECAME THE PRESIDENT. No one is "groomed" to be President one day. There are more people on the other side of all these computer screens that know just as much as "Congressman/woman so-and-so" about what goes on in Washington, the economy, foreign policy, etc...than some of those currently in office! But a very, very slim portion of them/us hold any type of government office. So please people, think "judgement" not just "experience". When that phone rings at 3 a.m. that Senator Clinton claims she will be prepared to answer, I want to know that her JUDGEMENT is sound about what to with the information surrounding that call. I know she has the experience to "answer it"! Well all can "answer it"! We all have "experience" doing that, but how many of us would have the sound judgement to know what to do next regarding that call? I, for one, am not too impressed with her past judgement. If you don't agree, please re-read the above bullets.

You know!? I find comments like this a little odd. It definitely shows how celebrity appearance can easily distract minds away from certain issues. Especially when they keep getting brought up such as this excerpt here by The New York Times the other day.

Are you for real? You really think Obama doesn't moisturize? Haha.

I'm noticing that Hillary supporters are not using insults even though a great many could be applied to Obama and his past drug antics. I'd worry about a President who turns to narcotics in times of weakness.

If you are worried about a split in the party, you best believe that it's because of "campaigning" not one or the other candidate. The last thing either of the two want is to split their own party. It's politics, it's part of the game, Nerd Sports. Campaign process gets us all riled up, even when the majority of us really do have respect for both. Once we have a Presidential Candidate, we'll form back into one and pull together and get this done. We're having and witnessing a very intense and different campaign, for the first time ever in history we have the making of it as firsts in BOTH candidates. Of course it's going to be heated and people are going to be heavily passionate. Please do not let the voters passion (tactful or not) chase you from the party. The last thing we need are people giving up on us, especially now. That's the exact thing the GOP wants to bank on.

There are so many trolls here because Hillary has been completely honest with us, so there's a lot of fodder for her opponents to attack.

Obama is a worthy candidate, but he lost my vote after I read an article of a press conference he had where reporters were pressing him about his links to Rezco. Obama abruptly stormed out of the room, saying on his way out "Come on guys, I answered like 8 questions already!"

This is a cool race, if it had been 2 different elections they would have both had my vote. But since they're running against each other, the better candidate wins: Clinton.

I liked reading about her years in college; she was a mature student who didn't riot on the streets against the Vietnam War but instead tried to find a solution within the system implemented by the Founding Fathers.
Even in her youth, she was grounded, mature and level-headed. This is what we need. We do NOT need a president who cannot bear pressure and does cocaine.

So what if he was young? Hillary was young and didn't do it. I'm young and I've never touched weed, forget about cocaine.
It's an insult to the young to excuse Obama's behavior on the pretext that "he was young."

GOP DNC Independent who cares. What we all need to do is look at (Each) candidate and determine which will do the best job. Hillary doesn't know what the truth looks like. Obama lacks much needed experience. And McCain seems to be more of the same old politics. so what we have to do is choose from these three.
I have ruled out Hillary simply because all she has really said is what she has determined the people want to hear. Obama is little sir echo simply coping what hillary says, but says his plan is different. McCain is a copy of Bush, or seems to be.
Yes there isn't much positive about those running. So I guess the real question we should be asking is which is the less of the three Evils, instead of who would be best. I will admit I have switched away from the DNC because of who is running. There is no way I could honestly vote for the Billary Team (8 years was enough) and I don't think Obama has what it takes ecause he hasn't explained what he will do (details) And that only leaves McCain. At least he has been known to work with both sides of the isle. With that comittment to work with both sides I feel he is the less of the three. I will be voting for the GOP this time around. Sorry to break the bad news but so will a lot more Dems. Because nobody realy wants more of the Billary team. And Obama can't decide what details to give on any of his positions.

Dont forget President Clinton took a 7 Trillion USD Deficit "which he inherited from the Republicants!" and turned it into a surplus- which made the American Dollar worth more than it was in decades. Now our nations dollar is worth less than the Canadian Dollar.... Thats Pitiful!
